FREAKY FRIDAY - LISTENING TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Well, anyone who reads my columns or listens to me knows that I am into the movies.  Well, today is Freaky Friday.  No, Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t going to turn into Lindsay Lohan after reading a fortune cookie.  However, FantasyAlarm.com is going to switch from the old looking “crypt keeper” to the “fresh hot thing”.  Adapt or die.

We surveyed our customers last September and you made some great suggestions to us.  The most critical thing was to be able to find things on our web site.  Another important thing was to make our tools the best in the industry so they didn’t have to leave us to go to other sites.  Jeff Mans and Ray Flowers challenged the team to find solutions.  So to bring in the new site and a new era, we are going to use the music of Freaky Friday.

FANTASY ALARM NATION – BRAND NEW DAY

It has always been our goal to bring fantasy sports players together to “teach not preach” so that the “nation” can become better season-long and daily players.  The new site is the first step only.  We are rebuilding our mobile apps, building out new forums and prepping members only chat software for launch later this month.  Within the next couple months your experience at FA.com will be completely customizable with a best-in-class community experience. We will be adding features, but not what we want, what you want.

YOUR FEEDBACK - HIT ME BABY, ONE MORE TIME

So, here is the critical part.  We need you to tell us what we did and didn’t get right.  We want to make sure we make changes that are based on the community.  Like in Ghostbusters: “no problem is too big, no fee is too big.” Just kidding.  It should really be no problem is too small and we want to hear your voice.  So, on the new site, there is a new feature on EVERY PAGE.  It is a SUPPORT Button.  This button opens a very easy way for you to give us feedback.  It will send us what page you are on so we can correlate the correct information and get back to you with whether we can execute on this or not.  If you want to contact us directly by email, send feedback to support@fantasyalarm.com or you can always send to me directly at rick@fantasyalarm.com.

THE TEAM – HAPPY TOGETHER

An effort like this takes a ton of time and effort from so many people.  There is no question that I will miss some in this paragraph.  I am sorry for that.

The day the World Series ended and we began.  We assembled world-class designer Therese Lange, and digital media expert Ed Bunnell to consult on the project.  Our team on the design was led by John DeSantis.  As everyone knows, measure twice and cut once so the design process lasted through the end of the year.  In 2016, we expanded the team to include Howard Bender, Edward Raus and our tech team led by Matt Wolf and Usman Shaukat.  Starting in the middle of February, the core four, led us to this point with exhaustive hours and unparalleled passion.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT – YOU’RE THE ULTIMATE
