For the first time this season, we have a game disrupted by covid. We don’t know who Newcastle is missing, but according to their head coach, several players will be out. Fortunately for us, Newcastle plays first, so we will be able to adjust accordingly. If they can field a reasonable side, I would like Newcastle’s chance at a clean sheet. On the other side, if Callum Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin are out, I don’t know how Newcastle are going to score.

Karl DarlowNEWWBA51009.421014.25
It feels weird to pay up for him, but he has been good for fantasy all season, and West Brom looks even less threatening than normal with Ricardo Periera out. We may not get the saves we are used to, but he has a good shot at a win and a clean sheet. That being said, I want to see Newcastle's lineup before I commit to Darlow. Depending on which players are missing, it may be best to look elsewhere.
Sam JohnstoneWBANEW45005.9489.50
Newcastle are better than last season, but they still only have 12 goals in 10 games. Johnstone has at least four saves in six of his 10 games this season, and if Newcastle are without Callum Wilson and/or Allan Saint-Maximin, Johnstone would be my favorite keeper of the slate.
Edouard MendyCHEEVE530010.031415.71
I don't know how Everton is going to score without James Rodriguez, Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman in the lineup. Mendy hasn't had more than two saves in any of his last five games, which limits his upside, but he might have the best chance at a win and a clean sheet of anyone on the slate.
Dean HendersonMUNMCI40008.7512.75
It took United long enough to switch to Henderson, but I guess it's better late than never. Outside of their annual thrashing of Burnley, City have not done a whole lot in attack, including last week's 2-0 win over Fulham. Henderson has seven saves and one goal against in 145 minutes this season, so I think this is a risk worth taking on both sites.
Forwards

Karlan GrantWBANEW45006.19109.41
I nearly had Callum Robinson in this spot, and if I could afford to pay the extra $500 for Robinson on DK, I think I would do it. I cannot really explain why Grant is so much cheaper than Robinson on FD; their stats when they start are basically the same, though Robinson has one more goal. I don't trust either player, but Grant is the cheapest forward I feel comfortable with on either site.
Timo WernerCHEEVE780011.912118.23
Werner has double-digit DK fantasy points in four of his last five games, the lone exception coming against Tottenham. Among the teams on the slate, only West Brom have surrendered more goals than Everton. I think Werner is safe and underpriced on DraftKings. He's playable on FanDuel as well, but I might prefer some of the other Chelsea attackers on that site.

Conor GallagherWBANEW55009.641516.30
I liked Gallagher even more I considered how the covid outbreak will affect Newcastle. He has goals in two straight games, and had four crosses against Crystal Palace and four chances created against Manchester United. He's probably more of a GPP play, but Gallagher is the West Brom attacker I want with Periera out.
Gylfi SigurdssonEVECHE59005.01126.23
He is pretty cheap for someone who will be on set pieces with James Rodriguez out. This is a tough matchup, but if Everton do score, there is a good chance Sigurdsson is involved.
Matt PhillipsWBANEW34002.564.34
I would like him better if he was a defender, considering his only start of the season was at left back against Crystal Palace. That being said, he had four crosses and four chances created in that game, which is even more impressive considering West Brom were a man down for most of the match. If Phillips starts again, he is a punt play on both sites.
Christian PulisicCHEEVE75006.01149.24
Pulisic is the mirror image of Timo Werner. Pulisic is a pure GPP play, and while I'll consider him on DraftKings, his price is much better on FanDuel. He scored the last time out and it seems like he is healthy, though I wouldn't count on him to play 90 minutes.

As always, the lineups below are examples of lineups you can make using the players in the Playbook and are not for plug and play.
