The International Break has passed, and perhaps the best part about it is that most of the players, especially the ones in Saturday’s slate, appear to have gotten through it unscathed. The drawback to so many starters being healthy is that value plays can be hard to come by. Barring some surprises when lineups are announced, I think I’m mostly going to try to save at defense and goal keeper. I don’t love the cheap options there, but at least they’ll allow me to pay for guys like Bruno Fernandes and Harry Kane.

Goal Keepers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
David de GeaMUNWBA59002.99145.00
Only Burnley have scored fewer goals than West Brom this season, but you're paying a premium for someone who only has three wins and one clean sheet this season.
Emiliano MartinezAVLBHA500010.971216.93
The only problem I see is that Brighton rarely put the ball on net, so Martinez may not have many saves. That being said, Martinez is cheaper than de Gea and Ederson and he has been the best fantasy goal keeper of anyone on the slate by far.
Hugo LlorisTOTMCI42006.94910.44
City only have seven goals in six games (the same as Brighton) on 29 shots. Spurs have conceded six goals with two clean sheets this season.

Forwards
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Harry KaneTOTMCI930026.012039.83
I'm sympathetic to the argument that Kane and Son will generate more chances during their current run of tough fixtures because they will be able to defend and counterattack, as opposed to trying to break down a defense that is sitting back. That being said, he is still a bit hard to trust for cash.
Gareth BaleTOTMCI71008.971613.07
He is averaging 20.9 fantasy points per 90 minutes on DraftKings. He's not guaranteed to play 90 minutes, but I think he is a nice value if he starts. He has been on corners as well, which obviously helps.
Edinson CavaniMUNWBA82004.92177.53
Whoever starts up front for United is a GPP play. Cavani is averaging more fantasy points than Martial and Greenwood despite not starting a game yet, but those other guys are cheaper. No one has conceded more than West Brom this season, so this should be a get-right game for United's attack.
Danny WelbeckBHAAVL65004.64137.65
Welbeck created three chances and took four shots against Burnley in his only start this season. I would prefer Aaron Connolly to start, especially on DraftKings, but Welbeck is probably too cheap on FanDuel.

Midfielders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Son Heung-MinTOTMCI830022.41932.00
Everything I said about Kane applies to Son, though Son has the added concern of possibly losing shots to Gareth Bale. On the other hand, Son is on corners, which helps raise his floor.
Bruno FernandesMUNWBA1100024.452235.00
He is finally priced appropriately on FanDuel, but I still think he is the safest attacker on either site. He has at least 22 FD fantasy points in six of seven games this season.
Kevin De BruyneMCITOT1060018.42223.82
His numbers have been good despite lousy finishing up front, but that could change with Jesus healthy and Aguero possibly fit as well. De Bruyne is typically matchup proof, but it might be easier to pay up for Fernanes or save a bunch of money with Son.
Jack GrealishAVLBHA880023.421730.93
Only four teams have conceded more goals than Brighton. His floor is lower than the studs listed above, but his ceiling is just as high, and I love the matchup.
Ross BarkleyAVLBHA740012.521517.91
He has created at least four chances in three consecutive games, with at least 20.9 FD fantasy points in four of his last five. He is a solid cash play on both sites.

Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Matt TargettAVLBHA40006.45911.31
Targett only had one cross against Arsenal, but he did create and chance and have a clean sheet to salvage his day. He has at least seven crosses in two games this season, and I think there is a decent chance he gets forward quite a bit against Brighton.
Sergio ReguilonTOTMCI510011.441219.65
He has been awfully consistent on both sites. I don't necessarily expect him to repeat the seven clearances he had againsit West Brom, but it's nice to know he has that kind of ceiling on FD.
Alex TellesMUNWBA63000130.00
I'm not paying up for him on DraftKings, but I'll take a good player in a good matchup on FanDuel and hope for attacking returns in a GPP.
Lewis DunkBHAAVL28003.8488.36
Only four teams have allowed more headed shots per game than Villa, and this a good chance to save some money and hope Dunk can head in a corner or set piece. He has six or more clearances in two of five games this season, making him an even better GPP play on FanDuel.
Branislav IvanovicWBAMUN30005.071314.73
He is expected to start after returning from covid, and I think he is a bit underpriced. He is averaging five clearances per game, but that number could increase against a United side that should have the lion's share of possession.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Tariq LampteyBHAAVL6100101313.10
He is listed as a defender on FanDuel, and I love his potential for attacking returns as a GPP play on that site. I think he is playable on DraftKings as well, though he is a midfielder on that site.
Joao CanceloMCITOT520011.161422.25
I expect Spurs to sit back and counter attack, and that should be good for Cancelo to get forward and hit crosses and create chances. I don't necessarily expect a goal, but I think he's more likely to get forward than his Spurs counterparts.
