After we struggled to find cheap WNBA DFS plays Saturday, we should have a much easier time Sunday. In fact, we may have too many options to choose from if Brionna Jones is out. Connecticut plays in the first game, so we will know their starting lineup before the contests begin. If Jones cannot go, whoever starts in her place will be playable for DFS. Beatrice Mompremier, Theresa Plaisance, Kaila Charles and Essence Carson are all candidates for more minutes if Jones is out.
As always, the lineups below are examples of lineups you can make using the players in the Playbook and are not for plug and play. Please note we will not have a WNBA DFS Playbook for Monday’s two-game slate. For questions about that slate or any other WNBA topic, hit us up in the FANation chat.

Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough | PHO | MIN | 4600 | 11.32 | 4900 | 11.43
Walker-Kimbrough has flashed a couple of times this season, scoring 27 fantasy points in 24 minutes in the first game Bria Hartley missed, and scoring 43 fantasy points in 35 minutes against Atlanta with Diana Taurasi out. Walker-Kimbrough should play 20+ minutes with Hartley out Sunday, though Shey Peddy and Sophie Cunningham could get more run as well.
Kiara Leslie | WAS | CON | 6200 | 12.14 | 3300 | 12.05
Leslie played a game-high 35 minutes Friday, finishing with 17.0 fantasy points. She is averaging 27.1 minutes and 17.8 fantasy points in her three games since returing from an ankle injury, and she should continue to see heavy minutes with Stella Johnson likely out for the season.
Chennedy Carter | ATL | LA | 8000 | 24.86 | 5200 | 23.98
Carter only played 17 minutes after missing two weeks with an ankle injury, and if she doesn't play closer to 30 minutes, it won't matter how cheap she is. That being said, she is cheap on both sites, and she was great before the ankle injury. She is certainly worth a shot in tournaments.
Briann January | CON | WAS | 6000 | 12.32 | 4400 | 12.33
January has played at least 24 minutes in four straight games, and her playing time should be safe even if Brionna Jones and Bria Holmes play. January struggled Friday but she still reached eight field goal attempts for the third consecutive game. She is averaging 21 fantasy points over those three games, and that is fine for her price.
Chelsea Gray | LA | ATL | 8500 | 26.91 | 6300 | 26.84
Gray has been a great cash play of late, averaging 33.4 minutes and 33.4 fantasy points in her last four games. No team has allowed as many fantasy points to guards as Atlanta this season.
Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG
Crystal Dangerfield | MIN | PHO | 8200 | 23.71 | 5600 | 22.48
Dangerfield shot 28.6 percent from the field Friday but still lead the Lynx in minutes, field goal attempts, three-point attempts and points. She is averaging 28.9 fantasy points in her last four games, and Phoenix is 10th in fantasy points allowed to guards.
Odyssey Sims | MIN | PHO | 6100 | 14.15 | 6000 | 13.32
Sims played 26 minutes and had 38.75 fantasy points Friday after playing 31 minutes and scoring 27.25 fantasy points total in her three previous games. She proved Friday she can play next to Crystal Dangerfield, and Minnesota may be at their best with Dangerfield spotting up and attacking closeouts off Sims's forays into the paint. Sims looks like a nice value on DraftKings, though I don't trust her for cash. I'll feel a bit better about her for fantasy if she replaces Lexie Brown in the starting lineup.
Diana Taurasi | PHO | MIN | 9800 | 34.52 | 6800 | 33.31
Diana Taurasi has scored at least 32 fantasy points in nine of her last 10 games. She should get even more shots (and perhaps minutes) with Bria Hartley out. The only reason this isn't a no-brainer is that her lone bad game came against this same Minnesota team a week ago. That being said, we don't expect her to shoot 3-12 from the field and 2-9 on threes regardless of the opponent. |

Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG
Beatrice Mompremier | CON | WAS | 3500 | 5.61 | 3500 | 6.01
The simplest way to approach Brionna Jones's injury is to simply play whoever replaces her in the starting lineup. That player isn't guaranteed to play a bunch of minutes or rack up fantasy points, but at least we know they'll get the first crack at it. Even if the Sun go small against Washington, which is probably what they should do, Mompremier could still play double-digit minutes backing up both forward spots. Mompremier is averaging 0.93 fantasy points per minute this season, exactly the same as Brionna Jones, and she probably has the highest ceiling of any of the options to replace Jones.
Brianna Turner | PHO | MIN | 8900 | 21.58 | 6500 | 22.77
It is disappointing to see her price rise following a disappointing game, but she is still averaging 31.6 fppg with Brittney Griner out. She is safer than all of the forwards who are cheaper than her, and she compares favorably to the Washington forwards who cost more.
Mikiah Harrigan | MIN | PHO | 4700 | 9.36 | 3500 | 9.62
Harrigan has played at least 16 minutes in four straight games, with at least 14 fantasy points in two of them. Her production is inconsistent, but that may improve with more experience. The Lynx have looked good with Collier at the five and Harrigan at the four, so she could see even more minutes going forward.
Alanna Smith | PHO | MIN | 6600 | 14.8 | 5100 | 14.72
Smith was overshadowed by Kia Vaughn against Washington, but I think Smith's floor is higher, and she matches up better with Minnesota. Smith is averaging 20.3 minutes and 21.8 fantasy points with Brittney Griner out.
Napheesa Collier | MIN | PHO | 11400 | 36.95 | 8200 | 36.82
Minnesota has had a ton of success going small with Sylvia Fowles out, and Phoenix does not have the size or skill to punish them for that. Collier has scored at least 40 fantasy points in five of the six games Sylvia Fowles has missed, including 51.75 fantasy points against Phoenix a week ago.
Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG
Damiris Dantas | MIN | PHO | 8600 | 24.25 | 5700 | 24.06
Dantas has scored at least 24.25 fantasy points in five of her last six games with Sylvia Fowles out, including 35.0 fantasy points against Phoenix a week ago.
Alyssa Thomas | CON | WAS | 9900 | 36.05 | 7500 | 35.81
Thomas is averaging 37.6 FD fantasy points in her last four games, and she has scored at least 31.4 FD fantasy points in 12 of her 15 games this season. She has been every bit as good as Candace Parker, but she is cheaper and isn't coached by Derek Fisher.
Nneka Ogwumike | LA | ATL | 8300 | 22.69 | 6000 | 22.73
Ogwumike has played at least 27 minutes in four straight games, averaging 25.8 FD fantasy points in that span. She may not have a high ceiling, but she is a solid cash play not that she's playing starter's minutes. |
