The WNBA resumes Friday with the same six teams in action that we had for Wednesday’s slate. The matchups may be different, but most of the players we liked Wednesday are still strong fantasy plays Friday, for most of the same reasons. If you feel a sense of deja vu reading Friday’s Playbook, you are not alone. The biggest difference between Wednesday’s slate and Friday’s slate is that Washington now plays in the last game instead of the first game. Emma Meesseman remains questionable, and while Myisha Hines-Allen and Tianna Hawkins are virtual must-plays with Meesseman out, they are both overpriced with Meesseman active. There are a couple of pivots I don’t hate based on Meesseman’s status, but it is probably just easier that situation altogether.

As always, the lineups below are examples of lineups you can make using the players in the Playbook and are not for plug and play.

Guards
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Kiara LeslieWASPHO600011.65330011.76
Leslie has played at least 22 minutes in both games since returning from an ankle injury, averaging 18.1 fantasy points. She has a chance to play 30+ minutes with Stella Johnson out. Phoenix is 10th in fantasy points allowed to guards.
Bria HartleyPHOWAS800028.94590027.95
Hartley has played at least 32 minutes in both games Brittney Griner has missed, averaging 30.0 fantasy points. That is strong production at her price.
DeWanna BonnerCONLA1070037.79780038.26
Bonner has at least 39 fantasy points in five of her last seven games. The Sparks are ninth in fantasy points allowed to guards.
Chennedy CarterATLMIN910027.09520026.04
Carter is too cheap on FanDuel, and it probably won't hurt that she had a couple of extra days for her ankle to heal. Prior to suffering her ankle injury, Carter had scored at least 21 fantasy points in six of her last seven games. I have no reason to believe she cannot at least do that, though I liked it better when she didn't have to face Minnesota.
Chelsea GrayLACON780026.02630025.99
Gray has played at least 28 minutes in three straight games, averaging 31.7 fantasy points in those games. She is safe for fantasy so long as Derek Fisher continues to play her.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Crystal DangerfieldMINATL790022.96560021.68
It is a credit to Dangerfield that she continues to play 30ish minutes per game even with Odyssey Sims, Lexie Brown, Shenise Johnson and Rachel Banham all healthy. Dangerfield is averaging 27.4 fantasy points in her last three games, and no team has allowed more fantasy points to guards than Atlanta.
Briann JanuaryCONLA570011.92440012.03
After a slow start, Briann January has played at least 24 minutes in three straight games, scoring at least 24 fantasy points in each of the last two. She didn't even shoot the ball particularly well Saturday, and her minutes should be safe with Bria Holmes out again.
Jacki GemelosWASPHO32003.8430003.22
Gemelos has played at least 13 minutes in each of her three games with Washington, and she had 8.25 fantasy points against Phoenix Sunday. Gemelos has a chance to play 20+ minutes with Stella Johnson out, and Phoenix is 10th in fantasy points allowed to guards.

Myisha Hines-AllenWASPHO1030033.1700031.95
She is averaging 53.1 fantasy points in two games with Emma Meesseman out, despite shooting 4-17 from the field Sunday. She is a must-play again if Meesseman cannot go.
Tianna HawkinsWASPHO760019.1480018.73
Hawkins played a season-high 31 minutes Sunday and scored 30.75 fantasy points. Her price somehow went down on DK, and she's a nice value if Emma Meesseman is out.
Monique BillingsATLMIN810025610025.29
Billings has at least 38 fantasy points in two of her last three games, including against Atlanta last week. That is an awfully high ceiling at her price, and it would certainly help if Emma Meesseman missed this game.
Brianna TurnerPHOWAS830021.39650022.51
She has at least 30.75 fantasy points in both games Brittney Griner has missed. Turner had at least three blocks in each of those games, and Connecticut is ninth in opponents' blocks.
Alyssa ThomasCONLA1010035.82720035.49
Thomas had at least 32.25 fantasy points in eight of her last 10 games. I don't think Phoenix has anyone who can keep her out of the paint with Brittney Griner out.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Napheesa CollierMINATL1140036.25820036.08
Collier has scored at least 40 fantasy points in four of her last five games, averaging 45.1 fantasy points over those five games.
Nneka OgwumikeLACON840022.69630022.66
Ogwumike's ceiling is pretty low for her price, but she has a nice floor now that Derek Fisher is actually playing her again. Ogwumike is averaging 31.4 minutes and 25.6 fantasy points in her last three games, and I would be fine with that Wednesday.
Brionna JonesCONLA770023.36520024.08
Jones has played under 23 minutes and scored under 23 fantasy points once in her last five games, and that was due to a combination of foul trouble and a blowout loss to the Aces. Jones is safe for her price.
Candace ParkerLACON1090036.98760036.34
Like Chelsea Gray and Nneka Ogwumike, Parker has benefitted from Derek Fisher finally getting out of the way. Parker is averaging 45.1 fantasy points in 33.5 minutes over her last three games. She may be riskier than her teammates, but her ceiling is as high as anyone's.
