What a difference a day makes. On Tuesday, player prices on both sites were largely unchanged from the opening weekend, and there were a lot of clear values as a result. On Wednesday, both sites changed their pricing based on the first round of games, and bargains are nearly impossible to find. Some of the top players who weren’t great in Game 1 can be had at a bit of a discount, but beyond that, you basically get what you pay for.

That leaves me in a tough spot with some of the breakout players like Isabelle Harrison and Brianna Turner. They have really good matchups, but I don’t think they’re going to do much better than what they showed over the weekend. So we are basically paying full price for their ceilings, and hoping they can hit them again. That’s a tough spot to be in.

That being said, most of the worst defenses in the league are going Wednesday, so there should be plenty of fantasy points to go around. Let’s look at who I’m playing Wednesday.

Guards

Skylar Diggins-SmithPHOIND850023630020.00
She is an elite point guard, and she isn't priced that way on DK. She wasn't great against Los Angeles Saturday, but she has to be licking her chops after seeing Indiana's disinterest in defense against Connecticut.
Jocelyn WilloughbyNYDAL600016440014.80
She played 24 minutes in her WNBA debut, and I suspect she will play even more with Kia Nurse out. If someone else starts in Nurse's place, they would be a strong play.
Sabrina IonescuNYDAL810025.5610024.20
She shot 4-17 from the field and 0-8 on threes in her debut, but still finished with 25.5 fantasy points. She has a much easier matchup against a Dallas team that somehow gave up 105 points to Dallas Sunday.I think 25 fantasy points is her floor, and I expect her to be much better than that Wednesday.
Arike OgunbowaleDALNY1140029700027.90
I actually thought her debut was encouraging. It was nice to see her take 21 shots even though she's surrounded by a lot more talent than last season. She will have better shooting games, perhaps as soon as Wednesday against a poor Liberty defense.
Betnijah LaneyATLLV650028560025.90
Laney deserves a lot of credit for all the work she has put in on the offensive end. She got her 28 fantasy points despite shooting 6-14 from the field and ocmmitting six turnovers. She will almost certainly play heavy minutes again, which gives her a high floor.

Tyasha HarrisDALNY590019.5430017.00
The only knock on Harris is that she isn't likely to play 30 minutes. Even so, she looked great in her pro debut, and she has another nice matchup against New York.

Amanda Zahui BNYDAL910026600024.60
She had a rough game against Seattle, but we can forgive her for that. She only played 24 minutes and shot 4-11 in the blowout. She goes from facing one of the best defenses to facing one of the worst, and I think she is a lock to top the 26 fantasy points she scored in that game.
Brittney GrinerPHOIND1050025.25750024.30
Griner struggled in the first game of the season, but I like her chances against Indiana
Kiah StokesNYDAL720024.75500025.80
Stokes was awfully impressive after a year away. She will likely never be much of a scorer, but she played 28 minutes and had nine rebounds against Seattle. I expect similar numbers against Dallas, and perhaps even a few more points.
Leaonna OdomNYDAL500011.7540009.60
If she keeps playing 25+ minutes per game, she is going to score more fantasy points than she did Saturday. I don't completely trust her, but she is worth a shot in a GPP.
Carolyn SwordsLVATL470015320014.30
She is awfully cheap on FanDuel. She will only play 15ish minutes, but we're only really looking for 15 fantasy points at her price, and I think we will get it.
