Tina Charles, F, NY | $8,200 | $10,600 | With so many cheap plays out there, I'll have an awfully hard time not putting Tina Charles in every single lineup, especially on DraftKings. Charles has been much, much better at home this season, with 36.7 fppg at home and 25.7 fppg on the road. |
Brittney Griner, F, PHO | $8,100 | $10,400 | I've been saying for well over a week now that I expect Griner to play better when Diana Taurasi returns. Even so, I'm more comfortable with her in GPP than cash lineups. |
Courtney Vandersloot, G, CHI | $8,000 | $10,100 | Vandersloot has at least 30 fantasy points in four straight games and six of her last seven games. She is averaging 36.4 fantasy points in two games against Seattle. |
Diana Taurasi, G, PHO | $7,600 | $3,200 | Taurasi may only play 15 minutes, and she might be rusty in her first game back following a back injury, but she is so cheap on DraftKings, I'm not sure it matters. The only drawback is that she might be 100 percent owned in some contests. |
Diamond DeShields, G, CHI | $7,300 | $9,700 | DeShields is averaging 30.8 fantasy points against Seattle this season. She has at least 14 field goal attempts in three straight games, and she should be pretty safe in this matchup. |
Jordin Canada, G, SEA | $6,200 | $5,800 | Canada struggled in her first game coming off a knee injury, and so I get it if you don't trust her for cash, especially on FanDuel. That being said, she will almost certainly start and get more minutes and shots with Jewell Loyd out. Canada is far too cheap on DraftKings. |
Stefanie Dolson, F, CHI | $6,000 | $7,400 | Dolson has been super solid after a slow start, with at least 22 fantasy points in six of her last seven games. Her ceiling may not be super high, but her floor is. |
Natalie Achonwa, F, IND | $6,000 | $6,800 | Achonwa's price has plummeted thanks to a couple subpar games (by her standards) since she returned from a calf injury, but she should be back to normal going forward. Achonwa played 26 minutes Tuesday against Minnesota, and before her injury, she was averaging 30.9 fantasy points over her last five games. |
Teaira McCowan, F, IND | $5,900 | $7,600 | McCowan has played at least 28 minutes in each of her last two games with Natalie Achonwa back, and McCowan is averaging 31.9 fantasy points over her last four games. I don't love this matchup, but McCowan should be pretty safe, and she has a high ceiling as well. |
Isabelle Harrison, F, DAL | $5,800 | $5,400 | Harrison has been slowed by a crowded frontcourt and a concussion, but she played 32 minutes and scored 28 fantasy points against Connecticut Wednesday. This should be a much easier matchup than that one, and while there is some risk her minutes get cut again, I love her price, especially on DraftKings. |
Leilani Mitchell, G, PHO | $5,700 | $5,700 | I'm shocked her price didn't go up more on DraftKings after she scored 43.25 fantasy points her last time out. She almost certainly isn't reaching that number again, especially if Diana Taurasi returns, but Mitchell should play at least 25 minutes, and she might get some more open looks if the defense has to worry about Taurasi. |
Reshanda Gray, F, NY | $4,900 | $5,000 | Gray started Saturday and scored 23.2 fantasy points in 20 minutes despite a tough matchup at Minnesota. This matchup should be considerably better, though I wouldn't expect too many more minutes. |
Shavonte Zellous, G, SEA | $4,400 | $5,200 | Zellous has t least 19 fantasy points in three of her last four games, and at least 25 minutes in each of her last two. Jewell Loyd has been ruled out for at least the next two weeks, so Zellous should play at least 25 minutes yet again. |
Han Xu, F, NY | $3,200 | $4,100 | Liberty head coach Katie Smith said Han Xu would get more minutes with Amanda Zahui B gone. That wasn't the case Saturday at Minnesota, but Dallas's forwards are far less physical than Minnesota's. Han Xu is risky, especially until we see her play 15+ minutes, but legit punt plays at forward don't come around too often. |
