Once again, Sunday’s slate is dominated by injuries. Diana Taurasi saw her return from a back injury delayed for just one more game, while Jordin Canada has already been ruled out. Meanwhile, much will hinge on Natalie Achonwa’s calf injury. Candace Parker returned from her hamstring injury two games ago, but she still hasn’t looked like herself. Whenever that happens, she will be a fantastic value. We have a split slate Sunday, with one game early and three in the evening. If you want to play any Mystics or Dream, be sure you get your lineups in early.

Jonquel Jones, F, CON$8,400$11,600If she's not the safest player in the league right now, it's Natasha Howard. Jones's game is more likely to stay close.
Natasha Howard, F, SEA$8,300$11,500On Friday on slightly preferred Howard to Jonquel Jones because I thought Howard's game was more likely to stay close. I was wrong, but Howard still managed 44.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes. The Fever have the second worst defensive rating in the WNBA, and I'm hoping that even if Seattle blows Indiana out, Howard will still score 40+ fantasy points.
Nneka Ogwumike, F, LA$7,700$9,600Brittney Griner was completely outplayed by Theresa Plaisance Thursday, and Nneka Ogwumike is a much better player than Plaisance. All of the Sparks are risky considering how poorly they have played the last two weeks, but let's not forget they won by 17 at Phoenix less than 10 days ago. I love Nneka's upside.
Candace Parker, F, LA$7,000$7,700It is nearly inconceivable that Parker would go 1-9 in both of her games since returning from a hamstring injury, but here we are. Parker failed to top 25 minutes in either of those games, thanks at least in part to the Sparks's inability to keep the game close. They could certainly get blown out again on the road against a Phoenix team that's getting Diana Taurasi back, but Phoenix has looked just as bad at the Sparks of late. Parker still has a ridiculous ceiling for her price, but I'm not playing her in cash lineups.
Tiffany Hayes, G, ATL$6,400$9,400There probably isn't any reason to pay her price on DraftKings, but I like her on FanDuel coming off consecutive games with 33+ fantasy points. It looks like her leg injury is behind her, and it's been nice to see her adding rebounds and assists even when her shot isn't falling.
LaToya Sanders, F, WAS$5,800$7,600Sanders is coming off a rough game against the Aces due to a combination of a tough matchup, foul trouble and a blowout victory. This game could obviously be a blowout as well, but no team is allowing more rebounds than Atlanta this season. Sanders had 14 fantasy points in 16 minutes against Atlanta at the start of the season, and she has played at least 29 minutes in three of her last four games.
Jasmine Thomas, G, CON$5,800$6,600Jasmine Thomas scored 32.25 fantasy points on DraftKings Friday and her price dropped $800. Only the Aces have allowed more three point attempts than the Sky this season, and the Sky rank ninth in fantasy points allowed to opposing guards. Even so, you probably cannot trust her for cash games.
Alysha Clark, F, SEA$5,500$6,500Alysha Clark hasn't been super consistent of late after a hot start, but she's averaging more fantasy points than seven forwards who cost more than her Sunday. I can't really explain why. This is a fine matchup against an Indiana team that ranks eighth in opponent's points and seventh in opponent's rebounds.
Tearia McCowan, F, IND$5,200$7,200She has double-doubles in both of her games since Natalie Achonwa went down with a calf injury. She is a must-play for cash games if Achonwa is out again.
Shavonte Zellous, G, SEA$3,600$4,900She got the start Friday but was pretty terrible in 18 minutes. She probably would have played more in a close game, and Seattle didn't really need her to do much with Natasha Howard, Jewell Loyd and Sami Whitcomb firing on all cylinders. That being said, punt plays don't grow on trees, and Jordin Canada has already been ruled out for Sunday.
Rachel Banham, G, CON$3,600$3,800Banham has played at least 15 minutes in two of her last three games, and she should reach that mark again Sunday with Layshia Clarendon out. Like Shavonte Zellous, Banham is far from consistent, but she's a finei punt play, especially on DraftKings.
Leilani Mitchell, G, PHO$4,800$5,400With Yvonne Turner leaving for Eurobasket and Diana Taurasi not quite ready to return from her back injury, the Mercury to extra minutes to go around. Mitchell is averaging 19.3 fppg on FanDuel over her last four games, and I bet he goes over that mark Sunday.
