I think I have gotten a bit spoiled lately with all of the five and six-game WNBA slates. There are just three games on Tuesday’s slate, but the good news is you can still watch at least one of the games even if you didn’t play for WNBA Game Pass like I did. Tuesday’s game between the Storm and the Sun will be streaming live on Twitter at 7 pm ET. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to watch that game live, but feel free to tweet at me and let me know how the game is going and how your lineups are doing.

With so few games Tuesday, quality DFS plays can be hard to come by. The matchups themselves don’t make it any easier. The Lynx are the best defensive team in the country, and they might be even better Tuesday considering Lindsay Whalen is out and she has the third-worst defensive rating on the team. I can’t possibly justify playing any of the Atlanta forwards against the Lynx, and even their talented guard trio is too risky for my liking.

Similarly, I don’t know how you trust any of the guards in the Indiana-New York matchup. One or two of them will likely knock down a few shots and finish with some decent numbers, but good luck guessing which one. I don’t like any of those players either, but that alone basically eliminates half of the player pool from consideration.

Usually, when I create the suggested lineups, I feel pretty strongly about which lineup is best for cash and which is best for a GPP, but that isn’t really the case this time around. There is a reason Natalie Achonwa is in both of my GPP lineups and Kiah Stokes is in my DK cash lineup, but for the most part, this slate came down to choosing the best values and most of these players have high ceilings with reasonably high floors. I usually play my cash lineups in one GPP tournament anyway, and I think I would feel comfortable playing either of the GPP lineups in a cash game as well.

Player FanDuel Price  DraftKings Price Comments
Sylvia Fowles, F, MIN $  8,900 $     13,300Big Syl has proven the only people who can slow her down are the referees. Fowles played just 20 minutes Sunday due to foul trouble, but she is averaging 27.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals against the Dream this season.
Tina Charles, F, NY $  8,500 $     12,300In her only game against Indiana this season, Tina Charles had 25 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals. The Fever are last in the WNBA in rebound percentage, and Charles should be better on the boards this time around.
Renee Montgomery, G, MIN $  4,100 $        5,000Montgomery started at point guard Sunday with Lindsay Whalen out and played 23 minutes. She struggled in that game along with most of her teammates, but she did have three of Minnesota's 13 assists. The Lynx lead the WNBA in assists per game, and Montgomery had five points, seven assists and three steals in 18 minutes against Atlanta last week.
Seimone Augustus, G, MIN $  5,000 $        7,000Seimone Augustus has played at least 28 minutes in three consecutive games, and she has taken at least 11 shots in two consecutive games. Augustus had 14 points and 10 assists against Atlanta two weeks ago, and she should be quite safe with Lindsay Whalen out.
Alex Bentley, G, CON $  5,000 $        5,200Bentley was 6-16 from the field for 16 points Friday, all season highs.  She played 33 minutes in that game as well. With Jasmine Thomas out, Bentley has a chance to set new season highs Tuesday, and her price is great on DraftKings.
Courtney Williams, G, CON $  4,700 $        6,400Williams played 27 minutes Friday, just her second game over 26 minutes since June 27. In the only game Jasmine Thomas missed this season, Williams took 16 shots in 36 minutes. Williams is probably safer than Alex Bentley, and she has a nice ceiling, too.
Jonquel Jones, F, CON $  7,900 $     12,400Jonquel Jones played 34 minutes Friday against Phoenix, and the hope is obviously that she would see similar minutes going forward as Connecticut tries to make up for the absence of Jasmine Thomas. Jones has double-doubles in four consecutive games and both of her games against Seattle.
Alyssa Thomas, F, CON $  7,400 $     10,000It is nearly impossible to separate Jones and Thomas since their skills overlap so much. Since the All-Star break, the Storm have allowed the second-most points and third-most rebounds in the WNBA, which is good for Thomas and Jones. Thomas played 36 minutes Friday, and she is averaging 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists against Seattle this season.
Natalie Achonwa, F, IND $  4,600 $        5,300Achonwa had a career-high 19 points against the Liberty two weeks ago. She has played at least 20 minutes in four of her last five games, and she had 20+ fantasy points on FanDuel in three of those.
Kiah Stokes, F, NY $  4,100 $        5,400Of the cheap forwards who will get significant playing time, Stokes is the safest. She had six points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against Indiana two weeks ago, and she has scored at least 14.25 fantasy points on DraftKings in four consecutive games and six of her last seven. The lone exception game against Minnesota, which barely even counts.
Alysha Clark, F, SEA $  3,300 $        5,100Clark is rightfully priced near Achonwa and Stokes on DraftKings, but it is hard to figure out why she is so cheap on FanDuel. She has played at least 25 minutes in 12 consecutive games, and she is averaging 5.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists over her last five games.
Jewell Loyd, G, SEA $  6,700 $        9,400Connecticut is without its best perimeter defender in Jasmine Thomas, and Jewell Loyd could be the one to take advantage. She is averaging 23.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists over her last four games, and she is probably a better play than any of the Atlanta guards against Minnesota. If anything, Minnesota's perimeter defense should improve with Lindsay Whalen out.
Shekinna Stricklen, G, CON $  3,200 $        5,100Like Alysha Clark, Shekinna Stricklen is awfully cheap on FanDuel. Stricklen has played at least 27 minutes in each of her last three games, and she could see a bit more playing time with Jasmine Thomas out. More importantly, Stricklen is averaging 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.0 turnovers in two games against Seattle this season.
