Last week I recommended paying up for keepers, and while I felt dumb when Dean Henderson conceded early against Aston Villa, he came through for us with the win and five saves. Jordan Pickford came through for us as well, with a win and a clean sheet despite not having to make a single save. This week, there actually is one cheap keeper who I like, but I still think spending up at the position is the way to go. Unlike most slates, however, I don’t think you need to choose your keeper first. I would find the bargains I like elsewhere and then choose my keeper based on how much money I have remaining.

Goalkeepers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Aaron RamsdaleSHUEVE38005.678.91
Ramsdale has at least four saves in three straight games and eight of his last 10. Ramsdale has the best matchup of the cheap keepers. Everton havs allowed one more save than Tottenham but have scored 15 fewer goals.
Hugo LlorisTOTWOL57007.921112.33
The Wolves are arguably the best matchup in the league for opposing keepers, especially for cash games. Only six teams have allowed more opponents' saves and only four teams have scored fewer goals. Brighton and Everton may be bigger favorites than Spurs, but Lloris is far more likely to pick up a handful of saves in addition to having a good chance at a win and clean sheet.
Jordan PickfordEVESHU58007.831212.23
This is a lot to pay to chase a clean sheet, but it may be worth it. Only five teams have more clean sheets than Everton this season, and Sheffield have been shut out in 20 of their 35 games. If you're paying up for a keeper in GPPs, Pickford is pretty clearly a better play than Alisson.

Gareth BaleTOTWOL950012.081818.78
These are famous last words in EPL DFS, but I think I'm going to fade Harry Kane. Son Heung-Min is safer (more on that below) and Bale is cheaper and may have higher upside. Kane may be more more likely to score than Bale, but Bale has 2+ goals in three of his last seven starts. If you're shooting for upside, I say go big or go home.
Dominic Calvert-LewinEVESHU940011.132019.09
Among teams in the slate, only West Brom have allowed more goals than Sheffield this season. It is hard to know which Everton attackers to play, especially with James Rodriguez available but not guaranteed to start or play 90 minutes. Calvert-Lewin has 10 more goals than anyone else on this team, and also leads them in shots, shots on target, shots in the box, big chances and xG. He is too goal-dependent to be a cash play, but he is as good a bet as anyone to score a goal Sunday.
Midfielders

Mohamed SalahLIVWBA970014.752222.39
Salah trails Harry Kane by one goal, and I have to expect Salah will score at least once against the team that has allowed the most goals in the league. Just as imporantly for our purposes, Salah has been passing a lot more lately, with eight chances created in his last three games.
Morgan Gibbs-WhiteWOLTOT52004.9455.39
Gibbs-White scored a goal against Brighton last week and created three chances in his previous start before that. Spurs are a much tougher matchup than his previous starts, but at the very least, Gibbs-White is a GPP play. He had four crosses his last time out, which is why is he more expensive on DK than on FD.
Joao MoutinhoWOLTOT60007.081110.96
While Wolves have some intriguing GPP plays, Moutinho is their only attacker I feel confident in for cash. He has at least 8.4 DK fantasy points in six consecutive games, with 10 chances created in that span. He is a cash-play only, however, with just two attacking returns this entire season.
VitinhaWOLTOT40002.5383.85
Vitinha took a back seat to Morgan Gibbs-White last week, but he had eight crosses and four chances created against West Brom the week before. Vitinha is a GPP play so long as he starts but I think I will like him better for cash lineups if Gibbs-White is on the bench.
Son Heung-MinTOTWOL1070016.72122.43
I don't think you can go wrong with either of the stud Tottenham attackers, but I think Son is safer. He has goals in three consecutive games but more importantly, he has 15 chances created and 18 crosses in his last five games. You could probably talk me into Kane in a GPP, but Son has looked much better than Kane the last few weeks.

Sadio ManeLIVWBA920013.071918.06
I really like Diogo Jota, and if you need to save some money, I think playing Jota is just fine. that being said, I will try to pay up for Mane if I can. Jota has averaged 70.3 minutes in his last three starts, while Mane has played at least 71 minutes in seven consecutive starts. On top of that, I think there is a chance Jota will drop farther back in the midfield if Fabinho has to play center back. Even if Fabinho starts in the midfield, he could always move back if needed. In his last five starts Mane has two goals, 17 shots and 10 chances created.
Dele AlliTOTWOL65003.66135.53
Dele Alli has emerged from Jose Mourinho's doghouse to remind everyone why he was considering one of the best young players in the game before Mauricio Pochettino was fired. Alli has four crosses, four chances created, five shots (two on goal) and one assist in his last three starts. He plays a bit deeper than I would like, and he takes a back seat offensively to Son, Kane and Bale, but he is one of the few mid-priced players in this slate who I trust.
Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Ki-Jana HoeverWOLTOT45002.6664.80
He has 11 crosses in his last two starts, and one of those was against Manchester City. If manager Nuno Espirito Santo continues to give his young players run the rest of the way, Hoever could be a nice value on both sites. Hoever has four clearances in each of his last two starts.
Semi AjayiWBALIV25002.38811.31
Ajayi racks up defensive stats, but his price and FPPG are down thanks to coming off the bench in some recent games and leaving the Burnley game with a red card after 29 minutes. He has at least 9.5 FD fantasy points in four consecutive starts, and this should be a good matchup as Liverpool have allowed the most clearances and blocks of any team in the league. Ajayi will likely be in all my FD lineups, especially for cash games.
Lucas DigneEVESHU650011.651415.27
In his last six games, Digne has 20 clearances, eight chances created and 36 crosses. Sheffield has allowed the fifth-most clearances and the fourth-most chances created. He should be safe on both sites but I think I like him better on FanDuel.
Ozan KabakLIVWBA32003.321010.11
Only three teams have allowed more clearances than West Brom this season, and Kabak has at least four clearances in five of his last six starts. Rhys Williams has been solid filling in for Kabak the last two weeks, and he would be a cheaper alternative on FD if Kabak misses again.
George BaldockSHUEVE36004.6188.51
Barring some surprise starters, you pretty much have to pay up for defenders if you want any safety on DK. That is hard to do with all the attacking talent on the slate, and which is where Baldock comes in. This isn't a good matchup, but it's not like Everton has locked down opposing sides. They rank 14th in possession this season, just two spots ahead of Sheffield United. Baldock has 12 crosses in his last four games, which is better than you will get from the other defenders in his price range.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Trent Alexander-ArnoldLIVWBA770014.531516.75
He is pretty much a cash play only. This slate has a lot of attackers with an excellent chance to score, but very few players who we can count on to send in a lot of crosses. Lucas Digne may be a better value but I trust Alexander-Arnold more, and you could probably convince me to play them together on DK.
