Daily Dribble Tuesday, March 11th

It was brought to my attention by my good buddy Hector Roman that the Bachelor finale was last night (why he watches it I will never know). As it turns out the the Bachelor, Juan Pablo, was a “d-bag.” Why am I not surprised? Anyway, I do not have any roses to pass out to you folks today, but what I do have is some player news and recommendations for your DFS contests this evening along with another Daily League Death Match.

Injury News

Not much injury news today, but here are a couple things that stand out:

Perry Jones is starting at the shooting guard Tuesday against Houston. On a night with very little value to be found on daily fantasy sites (DFS) Perry Jones now is worth considering as a value play with the news that he is getting the start.

Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) will not play on Tuesday against the Wolves. John Henson will start at power forward on Tuesday against the Wolves.

Danny Green is dealing with a wrist injury but will play. Since his sole value comes via his ablity to sink jumpers you are best to stay away from him tonight as the wrist injury could effect his shot.

Today's Main Event: Brandon “The Pterodactyl” Jennings vs Mike Conley

As the Home/Road splits show, Jennings plays much better on the road while Mike Conley loves himself some of that good Memphis home cooking, thus the edge here goes to Money Mike because both teams play at home this evening. Conley also holds the statistical edge over Jennings in most categories, and in some cases like usage rate and field goal percentage Conley owns a substantial advantage over BJ, not to say he blows, but in this matchup Jennings loses out almost across the board, including in defense versus position (DvP). Conley’s opponent, Damian Lillard and the Blazers are allowing more points per game to opposing point guards then Jennings opponent, Isaiah Thomas and the Kings both over the last 15 days and on the season.

All that said, I would not be surprised to see Jennings out score Mike Conley tonight, but the odds are in Conley’s favor and you save few bucks going with today's winner by decision: Money Mike Conley.

Hopefully these recommendations and statistical insights help you come up looking like roses in your DFS contests and you do not come back tomorrow calling me the Juan Pablo of fantasy. For some more specific player recommendations check out today’s Daily League Picks article which will post by 5pm today in the NBA articles section of our homepage and don’t forget to follow us on on twitter @FantasyAlarm and @NBADailyLineups.
