It’s the end of the fantasy baseball week and MLB on Sunday may be the best of all! So, let’s take a look at Underdog Fantasy MLB Player Props for today’s action. We have some stud pitchers going like Justin Verlander and Brandon Woodruff along with big bats of Rafael Devers and José Ramírez but there are also many other props that we can take advantage of. Be mindful of MLB Lineups. Sunday slates see a lot of studs get the day off, so you need to be more flexible and ready to pivot to another player prop if you have to as the lineups are released this morning. The MLB Weather center has also been updated ahead of today’s MLB action and it’s looking like a day full of clear skies and plenty of games to consider for our MLB picks and props. Fantasy Alarm has plenty of tools at your disposal like Daily Projections, Season Sortable Stats, and Season Splits that will help in your props research so let’s see take a look at my favorite picks for Sunday, May 15th.

Miguel Cabrera (DET) OVER 5.5 FP

Miggy has at least one hit in the last five straight games and hasn’t missed a beat since getting his 3,000th career hit. He is hitting .289 over the last 20 games and has a season slash of .287/.339/.389 with a .728 OPS. Today his fantasy point prop sits low at 5.5 and is attainable against Taylor Wells and the Orioles bullpen. Wells has been a reverse splits pitcher, allowing a .106 ISO with 42.9% hard contact and 52.1% to right-handed bats. A good bet for Miggy’s hot streak to continue today so take the OVER on his low FP prop.

Bobby Witt Jr. OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Bobby Witt Jr. is in Coors Field today and gets the positive platoon matchup against left-hander Austin Gomber. The heralded prospect is starting to show why he has a “phenom” tag after two big games already in the most-hitter friendly ballpark in all of baseball. On Friday night he hit a triple with two RBI and two runs scored and last night he went yard for his second home run of the season. This is the highest overall game total of the day and chances are that Witt Jr. will play a big part in the game.

Xander Bogaerts OVER 7.5 Fantasy Points

Bogaerts is having a big offensive season for the Red Sox so far. Over the last seven days, he is hitting .381 and over the last 20 games, he is hitting .312. He has stayed consistent with a season slash of .344/.390/.456 with an .846 OPS. Now he gets the RvL advantage over southpaw Martín Pérez and a Texas Rangers bullpen that is ranked 29th in MLB. Since last season Perez has a 4.76 xFIP and is allowing 48% hard contact plus he gets smashed by right-handed bats to the tune of a .353 wOBA and .188 ISO. Bogaerts and the Red Sox could have a big day in store for them at Globe Life Field.
