Luis Robert is on a tear since returning from a groin injury. He hit a two-run home run last night, his fourth of the season, and extended his hitting streak to five games. During that streak, he has slammed two bombs, five RBIs, and four runs scored. He is hitting .450 over the last seven days with a .500 OBP and .545 wOBA and has hit the over on this 1.5 TB prop every game since his return but the first (five games overall).
Robert is facing Nick Pivetta tonight and the Red Sox right-hander has struggled the entire season. He comes into tonight’s game with a 7.84 ERA and 1.84 WHIP. Take the OVER on Robert’s 1.5 total bases prop.
Mike Trout (LAA) OVER 1.5 Total Bases
You can play the over on a Mike Trout total bases almost every game but especially against a young pitcher like Josiah Gray who is pitching over his head. Trout is hitting .343 with 5 home runs/12 RBIs with a .357 ISO/.489wOBA over his last 20 games. He is an elite reverse splits hitter with a .390 ISO/.462wOBA and .307 batting average to right-handed pitchers and is home in a hitters-friendly park tonight with the wind blowing out. Gray has been fairly solid with a 3-2 record and a .312 ERA/1.31 WHIP on the season. He is, though, allowing a high 12.9% barrel rate and .227 ISO to right-handed bats which is right in Trout’s wheelhouse. Take the OVER here.
