We know, football is right around the corner and baseball remains in the dog days of summer. That’s the beauty of DFS baseball. You can take full advantage each day of those who are mailing it in. As always, stacking on the right teams gives you a decided advantage in your contests and today is no exception. As in the case in most instances when it’s my turn to write this article, I’m not going to give you the reasons to play a bunch of Rockies. Sure, you can go that route and it could be a great play. The point being that the ownership percentages and salaries will be so high, it’s difficult to really take full advantage. So, here is your top three non-Colorado stackable teams for tonight’s main slate.

CLEVELAND INDIANS

If you missed out on that ridiculous performance from Jose Ramirez on Sunday - you know, the one that he went 5-for-5 with two homers and three doubles and scored 62.1 FanDuel points - well, shame on you. He homered yesterday too. He’ll stay hot and bring the rest of those Indians bats with him as the Tribe strive for their 13th win in a row. They will do so against the White Sox David Holmberg in Chicago. Holmberg is posting a respectable 3.55 ERA, but a less appealing to the eye 1.50 WHIP on the season. The career numbers of 6.00 ERA and just a 43:45 K:BB ratio over 18 starts tells the story a bit more clearly. Get on those Indians tonight and cash in.

Best Bets: 2B Jose Ramirez; SS Francisco Lindor: 1B Edwin Encarnacion; 1B Carlos Santana

Value Plays: OF Brandon Guyer; 3B Yandy Diaz; C Yan Gomes

KANSAS CITY ROYALS
Have you seen Anibal Sanchez’ post-All-Star break numbers? Well, here they are: 8.37 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and just 24 K’s in 33.1 innings pitched. He’s coming off a stint on the DL and will get a Royals team and is up-and-down offensively but certainly possess the firepower to have a huge game. Assuming the struggles continue for Sanchez tonight, you should be all over these Kansas City bats.

Best Bets: OF Lorenzo Cain; 2B Whit Merrifield; 3B Mike Moustakas; C Salvador Perez; 1B Eric Hosmer

Value Plays: OF Brandon Moss; OF Melky Cabrera; SS Alcides Escobar

MILWAUKEE BREWERS

It’s just difficult to ignore teams playing in Cincinnati's Great American Ballpark with the kind of power potential that resides in this Brewers lineup. Throw in the fact that they are facing Robert Stephenson - who, admittedly, has been pitching well - is just a bonus. You see, pitchers like Stephenson, who are prone to walking batters are the best candidates for blow-up starts. Back on July 27th, he managed to get out of a start with just three earned runs in which he walked seven (yes, 7) batters.  This kind of luck can’t continue and we’re going against the grain with this one. Grab you some Brew Crew and be happy when they go off tonight. Bonus: the wind will be blowing out to right at a gusty 11 MPH.

Best Bets: OF Domingo Santana; OF Ryan Braun; 2B Neil Walker; 3B Travis Shaw

Value Plays: 2B Eric Sogard; C Stephen Vogt; SS Orlando Arcia; 2B Jonathan Villar

Best of luck tonight in your DFS contests!
