Hopefully you were able to enjoy the Dallas Keuchel show (again) last night in the Bronx. Even more so, hopefully he was in your lineup and you cashed in. We are getting set for a full slate of Friday night action and there are so many options out there, let’s get to it.
 

Value Plays
There are a few players that I didn’t do a full write-up on, but like for value plays and may make it into my Optimal Lineups. They include:

Injuries
Here are some injury updates to some key players today:
 

1B - Ke ndrys Morales (TOR) - Hamstring injuries are weird and tend to linger. We’d suggest going elsewhere at a loaded position.

1B - Hanley Ramirez (BOS) - Day-to-day with a shoulder impingement of some sort. Go with other options.

2B - Robinson Cano (SEA) - Scratched yesterday with a sore quad. Stay away.

SS - Asdrubal Cabrera (NYM) - Hasn’t started since Saturday. Has pinch-hit a few times so the thumb isn’t bad enough to warrant a DL stint. We’d stay away still.

OF - Michael Brantley (CLE) - Ankle injury has him sidelined since Wednesday. Off day yesterday. We’d stay away until he gets back in the lineup.

OF - Ryan Braun (MIL) - Likely DL candidate. Stay far away. Hernan Perez has been earning time in his absense.

OF - Dexter Fowler (STL) - He is likely to be back in there and if you really like him at the top of the Cardinals lineup, you can feel confident in doing so.

OF - Michael Conforto (NYM) - He’s likely to get back in the lineup tonight, but we’d go with safer options in case that hammy needs one more day.
 

Weather

Keep an eye on things in Washington DC tonight. Looks like there is a good chance for a delay / PPD. Fade the starters and some of the bigger bats. If nothing else, be ready with a plan to pivot off if it looks bad.
