I’m back at it for another Saturday of All-Day baseball. We kick things off with a seven game early slate that has a roster lock of 1:05 PM ET/10:05 AM PT and close the day out with an eight game late slate that has a roster lock of 7:10 PM ET/4:10 PM PT. Keep in mind, FanDuel is in their own little world and is only using the first five games for the early slate. 

The Rankings and Playbook will feature players from both slates. As for the Optimal Lineups, I will provide one early and one late cash game lineup with pivots for both DraftKings and FanDuel. 

With the weather getting warmer and warmer throughout the country, I guess it’s a little bit odd that weather continues to play a huge factor in DFS. We had a Mariners/Indians game last night that many felt would not be completed, but they ended up playing through without issues. I think today’s another day where we’re going to have to keep a close eye on the weather developments in St. Louis, Cleveland, and Texas. All three of those games feature some really good DFS plays, so we’ll see how it goes as we get closer to closer to roster lock. 

On top of that, it appears that Minnesota/Kansas City is very unlikely to play. I suppose we'll have to wait and see though.

Also, similar to my disclaimers during hockey season, the team stacks listed for PRO subscribers are not listed in any order of preference (I’ll include order of preference when I do my Stack the Deck articles), and they are definitely recommended for GPP tournaments and not cash games. With that said, I don’t mind doing bigger stacks on short slates, or if I think a game features SIGNIFICANTLY better options in relation to salary. I also don’t mind doing mini stacks (two-man stacks or sometimes three-man stacks) in cash games in good situations.
