I’m back on Playbook duties for Saturday’s huge 15 game split slate. The split slate features a huge 10 game early slate that has a roster lock of 1:05 PM ET/10:05 AM PT, and a smaller five game evening slate with a roster lock of 7:10 PM ET/4:10 PM PT. The main difference between DraftKings and FanDuel today is the fact that the early slate is cut down from 10 to six on FanDuel. Why? I’m not really sure. While the Playbook will feature a mixture of players from both slates, you should definitely check out the rankings, which will give you more options to construct lineups for each slate.

The only game that has any real threat of a rainout is going to be in Minnesota, but even so, that game should be a go (I wouldn’t play either starting pitcher though).

It’s a pleasant change to not have to deal with Coors Field this weekend; however, it wasn’t like there were nonstop 20 run games there either. At the time of this writing, the only game that features an O/U of 9 or more was Baltimore/Toronto at 9. The highest expected run total actually belongs to Boston, who have an expected run total of close to 4.75.
