Today’s DFS NHL Playbook will feature the six-game main slate with a roster lock of 5:00 PM ET. Check that, it’s a six-game main slate on DK and four game main slate on FD with a roster lock of 6:00 PM ET. It should be noted that the Columbus Blue Jackets (7-3-3), New Jersey Devils (7-3-3), Buffalo Sabres (4-7-1), Vancouver Canucks (5-8-0), and Colorado Avalanche (4-4-0) will be playing their second game in as many nights. Again, each team’s record when playing without rest is listed in parentheses.

The only lopsided Vegas line is currently Pittsburgh over Buffalo as -285 favorites. At the time of publishing, the Columbus/New Jersey and Vancouver/Anaheim Vegas lines were not released.

I do want to give my weekly reminder that the Playbook is designed to make it easy for you to create your lineups, and is shaped in a way where I’m offering you more value-friendly plays than your average resource. Just because I don’t have Joe Pavelski listed doesn’t mean I think he’s less likely to score than Shane Doan. It’s purely due to the salaries.

UPDATE: 2:05 PM ET

A few lines have changed for both Carolina, Arizona, and St. Louis. Christian Dvorak will now center the top line with Max Domi and Radim Vrbata, while Shane Doan will be on a line with Brenden Perlini and Jordan Martinook. I happen to like both lines but Dvorak's line is clearly the safer play and brings the highest upside.

As for Carolina, they are going to move "Mr. Shank on an Empty Net" Elias Lindholm to the top line with Phil Di Giuseppe and move Teuvo Teravainen over to the 2nd line with Victor Rask and Sebastian Aho.

And lastly, Patrik Berglund and Paul Stastny have switched wingers for the Blues, so you're going to have a nice play available in Jaden Schwartz with Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko.
