We are just a few weeks away from the NHL All-Star Break, and we’ll continue this week with another shorter slate with just seven games total. The only team that will be playing their second game in as many nights is the Dallas Stars, who are 1-2-1 when playing without rest. They pulled out their first road win against someone other than Colorado or Arizona since November 11.

There have been a lot of weird happenings in the world of hockey lately that has really demonstrated how anything can happen in any given game in any given night. The Kings allowing six goals at home was something I didn’t really expect last night. The Kings dismantled the Stars in the possession game, but were not able to keep the Stars from putting the puck past their goaltender, Peter Budaj.

Nevertheless, the goal is always to get it in with the best of it, so let’s get started. And as always, please let me know if you have questions on Twitter @kle18.
