The season keeps rolling with tonight’s 6-game NHL slate. We are so accustomed to those crappy two or three game Wednesday night slates, that this six game slate is definitely a welcome sight.
There are three teams who will be playing their second game in as many nights. This includes the Winnipeg Jets (3-2-1), Montreal Canadiens (5-2-0), and New York Rangers (6-0-0). Again, each team’s record when playing without rest is in parentheses.
A few injuries to be aware of tonight:
Aleksander Barkov of the Panthers is on IR with an undisclosed injury.
Rick Nash of the Rangers is questionable with a groin injury.
Jamie Benn will be out of the Stars lineup because of a foot injury.
Semyon Varlamov will likely remain out of the Avs lineup with a groin injury.
Mike Green of the Red Wings is on IR with an upper body injury.
Ryan Getzlaf of the Ducks is questionable with a lower body injury.
