Words cannot describe how crappy last night went. My apologies go out to everyone who played my optimal lineups and got screwed by the Minnesota rainout.
I use multiple weather resources and all of those resources suggested that the odds were very likely for Twins game to get in. It wasn’t until it was too late when some of those resources felt a lot worse about the game. Oh well. I lost money too, but I feel worse about it for you guys.
Nevertheless, the good thing about DFS is that we can pick ourselves up and give it another try the next day with a clean slate. You’ll definitely want to keep an eye out on the D-Backs/Mets, Padres/Pirates, and Angels/Indians games because they all have rain in the forecast.
Speaking of the different slates, we have a 6-game early slate, but I will definitely bring up players from the 4-game evening slate as well. The make-up game in Minnesota will not be on the evening slate.

Chris Carter has been the best sinkerball hitter on the Brewers roster throughout the season, and gets to face “The Artist Formerly Known as Fausto Carmona” Roberto Hernandez, who throws sinkers with roughly 60 percent
Freddie Freeman went double dong last night and gets a meeting with Matt Garza, who he has homered against previously, to see if he can continue his run.
Mitch Moreland will be getting regular starts, especially with Prince Fielder no longer in the lineup. He is a good value and gets a good matchup against Chad Bettis of the Rockies.
LATE SLATE
Mike Napoli is one of the biggest Angels killers of all time. He is batting .325/.441/.675 with 18 homers in just 197 career at-bats against his former club. Not to mention, he has homered once in two career at-bats against Jhoulys Chacin.
Jose Abreu has four multi-hit games over his last five and has homered in three of his last six.

Jose Altuve is 14-for-33 (.424 AVG) with three doubles, five runs, and seven RBIs over his last seven games. If you want to live dangerously, you can target Jean Segura and the rest of the D-Backs against Thor, with the consideration that the D-Backs are likely going to steal some bases if they get on.
Brian Dozier was working on a huge game last night before the postponement. He should be in good shape in Game 1 against Doug Fister, who he has gone 6-for-11 (.545 AVG) with a homer, and two doubles against in their previous meetings.
LATE SLATE
Matt Carpenter got the job done last night and I like his situation tonight at Wrigley against Jon Lester. He’ll be a good way to differentiate, mainly because people hate the lefty-versus-lefty deal, and the wind will be blowing out at Wrigley.

Jonathan Villar has a chance to pick up some ground on Billy Hamilton for the Stolen Base Crown after Hamilton’s pitiful game last night against Jaime Garcia and the Cardinals. He has a good matchup against Roberto Hernandez, and will almost certainly be aggressive if he gets on base.
Adrian Beltre remains a solid price throughout the industry and has gone 7-for-17 (.411 AVG) with a homer, double, two walks, and five RBIs over his last four games.
LATE SLATE
Kris Bryant is arguably the best hitter at Wrigley when the wind is blowing out. It’s rather a mild forecast in store for tonight, but the wind will definitely blowing out at around 10-to-15 MPH.
Jose Ramirez now has a 14-game hitting streak where he has gone 25-for-55 (.455 AVG) at the plate with two homers, six doubles, nine runs, six RBIs, and four stolen bases.

Didi Gregorius .347/.390/.510 with three homers in 98 at-bats against lefties this season. He has a decent history against Eduardo Rodriguez and deserves to get more attention tonight.
Jhonny Peralta has three career home runs against Jon Lester and is working on a nice little 6-game hitting streak where he has homered once and doubled twice.

EARLY SLATE
George Springer gets a matchup against Jose Berrios who has given up a HR/9 of 2.42 this season. One of those homers was against Springer. The Astros are definitely an interesting stack for today’s games.
Shin-Soo Choo needs another injury to obtain the label of, “American League David Peralta”. Still, he has been extremely affective when he’s been in the lineup, and is once again getting in a little bit of a groove.
Andrew McCutchen is starting to look a little more comfortable at the plate and has a good matchup against Christian Friedrich, who he has gone 2-for-3 with a homer against in limited action.
Travis Jankowski just continues to get it done at the plate and on the bases. He now has a 9-game hitting streak where he has gone 16-for-34 (.471 AVG) with three doubles, five walks, 13 runs, and eight stolen bases.
David Dahl has been an absolute revelation for the Rockies. Over his last 10 games, he has gone 15-for-40 (.375 AVG) with a homer, three triples, a double, 11 runs, and six RBIs.
Hyun-Soo Kim might just be the most under-the-radar crazy good hitter in the Majors. The rookie has batted .343/.417/.464 with a wRC+ of 142 against righties this season.
Sean Rodriguez is quietly batting .267/.405/.517 against southpaws this season. He rarely starts but may be in there against the lefty, Christian Friedrich. Use him only in GPPs on DraftKings, but use him in any format on FanDuel.
Jabari Blash has a great price point of just $2300 on FanDuel. Not bad for someone who he gone 7-for-20 (.350 AVG) with two homers, five walks, and four RBIs over his last five starts.
LATE SLATE
Mookie Betts will likely be back in the 3-hole tonight, which significantly increases his value. He has always struggled to get run-producing opportunities as a leadoff hitter, but it shouldn’t be a problem from that spot.
Jackie Bradley Jr. always matches up well against Michael Pineda. JBJ is batting .364/.500/.636 throughout his career against the Yankee right-hander, and should have very low ownership tonight.
Jacoby Ellsbury’s plate discipline has significantly improved over the last week, and it’s to the point where he is now batting .346/.419/.385 over his last seven games.
Stephen Piscotty is a great value tonight at $3000 on FanDuel going up against Jon Lester. Remember, Piscotty is a lefty crusher who is batting .336/.437/.636 against southpaws in 2016.
Lonnie Chisenhall has a reasonable price point and gets a good matchup against Jhoulys Chacin of the Angels. He is now getting platooned pretty hard with the addition of Brandon Guyer in the Indians lineup, but will continue to get opportunities against righties.
Jarrod Dyson will likely get a start tonight considering the fact that Ned Yost loves to play matchups. Dyson is 8-for-10 (.800 AVG) with two stolen bases, lifetime, against Miguel Gonzalez of the White Sox.
