There are a ton of great prizes to win tonight in DFS.  Whether you are playing over on Draft Kings for their $12,500 Showtime contest or on Draftstreet for their $26,000 in guaranteed prizes tonight it is a great night for some Daily Fantasy Basketball.  Here are some of my insider plays for tonight.  Whether you are looking for some inexpensive options or trying to decide on which superstar to build around, I’ve got you covered.

Cheap Options

Luke Ridnour, PG/Ersan Ilyasova, PF Mil- It is always hard to trust Bucks players as their coach always seems to mess with the rotations. Ridnour has played 35+ in 3 of the last 5 games, in those games he is averaging just over 12 points, 4 rebs, 6.3 assist. If he gets the playing time then he should produce, if not, he will struggle. Same could be said for Ilyasova who has averaged 17 points and 6 rebounds with 30 min of PT in his last 2 games. Both make solid cheap plays, but be cautious as they could also bomb because of lack of playing time.

Chris-Douglas Roberts SG, CHA- CDR has scored in double figures in 3 of the last 4 games while logging 24+ minutes during that span. He makes a for a solid bargain play on DraftStreet(5,673)

Patrick Patterson PF, Tor- Was thriving for Toronto until last game. He had 3 straight games scoring double digits (16.3 points per game) and grabbing 5.6 rebounds until last game’s debacle. Look for him to bounce back tonight against a vulnerable Nets frontcourt.

Kentavious- Caldwell Pope SG,Det- Has scored double figures in 4 of the last 5 ( averaged 14 points in those 4 games), is playing almost 30 minutes a game, and is worth 7,342 on DraftStreet. Enough Said.

Higher Tier Players

Carmelo Anthony  SF/PF, NYN – Melo should have a huge game vs the worst defense in the NBA (76ers). He will be making it rain all night with J.R. Smith out as he could jack up 30+ shots tonight. Also, Andrea Bargnani and Raymond Felton make great plays tonight as well.

John Wall PG, WSH- Wall averages 7 more FPTs (Fantasy Points) at home then he does on the road. Tonight, he faces the Rockets at home in what should be a fast pace/high scoring game.

Mid Tier Players

Josh Smith SF, DET- He had a monster game last night and should continue his domination vs the Suns. His price is still a lot lower than some other players that could reach 40+ FPTs. Small chance to bust, good chance to boom, great chance to reach his value price.

Eric Gordon SG, N.O.- A lot of things to like from this former Hoosier. He has played 30+ minutes in 5 straight games, has scored 20+ points in 3 out of the last 4 games, and faces Dallas who he torched for 27 points last night. Gordon is also considerably cheap for his upside.
