The FanDuel Partners Basketball Championship (FPBC) is a daily fantasy sports competition to decide which website is the top fantasy basketball projector in the industry. It will be a five a week competition with contests being held on each Wednesday and Friday for a total of 10 contests. The site with the top aggregate score wins a trip to the Playboy Mansion. We got it started off the right way by finishing first in the first contest with 313 fantasy points and currently sit at second place in the standings, which you can see here. Also, don’t forget to check out the our DFS NBA Playbook for tonight’s 11 game slate. Here are my top five plays on FD for tonight's contest.

  1. DeMarcus Cousins, $10,900 – So much to like from him tonight because he’ll have a higher usage rate with Rudy gay out, the Grizzlies have no one can matchup with his size and athleticism, and our projections have him going for 52.7 fantasy points, which is his floor as he has accumulated at least 55 fantasy points in four out of the past five games.

  1. Bobby Portis, $4,400 – Will likely be the highest owned player on the slate as Portis is one of the best value selections since with Taj Gibson listed as doubtful. Our projections have him going for 29.6 fantasy points, which is an amazing 6.73 times his price tag.

  1. Russell Westbrook, $11,000 – Had to have either him or Chris Paul in my lineup as both players will put up big fantasy numbers. Westbrook has put up at least 50 fantasy points in 15 straight games. He’s projected for 58 fantasy points, which is almost 12 points more than the player ranked behind him.

  1. Matt Barnes, $5,200 – The Kings are a brutal defensive team, something I expect Barnes to take full advantage of tonight by knocking down some three-pointers and grabbing a handful of rebounds. He has logged at least 37 minutes in three out of the past four games and he hasn’t put up less than 25 fantasy points in any of those three games. The computer has him projected as the best value selection the position with a return value of 5.81 (30.2 fantasy points).

  1. D’Angelo Russell, $5,300 – Another player who’ll be highly owned because Russell is still cheap despite the fact that he has produced 30-plus fantasy points in three straight games. Our projections have him as the second best value option at the position with a return value of 5.83 (30.9 fantasy points).
