Looking forward to some daily hoops action on Saturday with eight games on the slate. James Harden is clearly the top dog tonight with John Wall just behind him. LeBron James is a good option as well, but there are some quality small forward options, which makes it hard to spend up for LeBron.
John Wall has dominated the Bucks this season, and I expect him to continue that domination tonight. Ty Lawson is a great mid-tier option and should have no problem reaching value as long as he can score some points. There are a couple of quality low-tier options in Dennis Schroder, Ish Smith, and possibly Shabazz Napier. There are only a few good options at shooting guard, which is why you should pay up for James Harden. Arron Afflalo is the second best option at the position as he'll be starting in place of Wesley Matthews.
The small forward position is going to be dominated by Rudy Gay and Nicolas Batum tonight. Don't expect a repeat performance from Rudy Gay, but he still makes a safe cash game play. Nicolas Batum is my favorite player at the position because his price tag is still low despite his huge games recently.
The power forward position is loaded with quality low-tier options in Ersan Ilyasova, Andrea Bargnani, and possibly Donatas Motiejunas. Those guys will help you save money at the position. The best option at the position is Kenneth Faried, who gets another soft matchup and has proven to be a consistent fantasy producer during the past three games. His price is about to sky rocket so make sure to get him in your lineup tonight.
Marcin Gortat was huge for me last night, so I'll be going back to that well tonight as he gets another cupcake matchup, while his price tag is still considerably cheap. DeMarcus Cousins is always in play. Robin Lopez has been playing a lot better as of late and is dirt cheap on DraftKings.
Here is the Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook for March 7th:
