There are only 6 games on Sunday, but there is plenty of daily fantasy basketball action going on. I will break down each game by discussing players you should key on to make the best lineup.

New Orleans vs Orlando

Orlando:

Arron Afflalo SG/SF- He has been up and down since he returned from his injury, but he should have a great night tonight. Afflalo destroyed New Orleans last time he played them with 30 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assist, and 4 for 5 from long distance (had 41.5 FPTs on DraftKings).

Kyle O’Quinn PF/C- The Pelicans are brutal vs big men as Andre Drummond and Zach Randolph each had 20+ rebounds vs them this week. O’Quinn is a great center based on his value as he had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks last time he faced the Pelicans.

Victor Oladipo SG/SF- He has been a man on a mission recently as he has produced 44 and 49.25 FPTs in the last 2 games. The Pelicans can’t guard SG’s so Oladipo should thrive tonight.

New Orleans:

Anthony Davis PF/C- He is the only Pelican I would use tonight as he punished Orlando for 58 FPTs in their only meeting this year( 26 points, 17 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 asst/steal). Orlando has no one who can stop Davis so he will be the Pelicans go to player. He is the play of the night as I have no problem shelling out the big bucks for him.

Denver vs Sacramento

Denver:

Randy Foye SG/SF- Would only play if I needed a consistent cheap play. He is only $4,200 on DK’s and will likely produce 25-30 FPTs which is fine for his cost.

Wilson Chandler SF-  The Nuggets are relying on him to score as he has 37.5 FPTs or more in three out of the last five games. Think this will be a high scoring game and Chandler will likely be the leading scorer for the Nuggets.

Sacramento:

It all depends on Rudy Gay’s status. If he plays then I wouldn’t play Al Thornton or Derrick Williams, but those two players make great plays if Gay sits. There is roughly 40 extra shot attempts to go around if Cousins & Gay sit which is why I like Thornton and Williams so much. Isaiah Thomas should have a great game no matter what. Rudy Gay makes a great play if he suits up as he will likely get close to 30 shot attempts.

Portland vs Golden State

This is going to be a very exciting game with both teams putting up a lot of points.

Portland:

Wesley Matthews SG/SF- Has 3 straight games scoring 32FPTs or more and had 33 FPTs last time vs Golden State. He makes for a great mid-tier value play.

Robin Lopez C- Has been very consistent this season while being a solid value play at center tonight. Ro-Lo has averaged 13.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, almost 2 assist, & 1.6 blocks in the last 5 games. Also, he had 32 FPTs last time vs the Warriors. Those are all great reasons to get him into your lineup.

Golden State-

Andrew Bogut C- Always find it hard to suggest playing Bogut as he always seems to let me down whenever I play him, but tonight is different. Bogut has been on a role in his last 3 games by averaging 9.3 points, 13 rebounds, and a ridiculous 4.6 blocks. Another positive thing I like is the fact that he has played 31 or more minutes in all 3 of those games ( had only one 30+ minute game in seven previous games before this streak).

Stephen Curry PG/SG- He is one of the most expensive players tonight because he will likely be one of the top scorers. I prefer to spend my money on Anthony Davis tonight, but you can’t go wrong starting Curry.

Dallas vs Detroit

Detroit:

Andre Drummond PF/C- Had a meager 21 points/20 rebounds last game for his 7th straight game with a double-double. Dallas is not good vs Center so Drummond should feast again tonight.

Brandon Jennings PG- Has produced back-to-back games with 46+ FPTs and could reach those numbers tonight as Jose Calderon will be chasing Jennings around all night.

Rodney Stuckey PG/SG- Mo Cheeks said he might make changes to the starting the lineup so Stuckey could be starting tonight. He makes for a great value play if he ends up starting.

Dallas:

Monta Ellis PG/SG- Not much here other than Monta will be doing Monta things like scoring and dishing out assist. I am staying away just because I like some cheaper options, but don’t be afraid to use him tonight.

Shawn Marion SF- The Matrix is a cheap option at the SF position who could get 30 FPTs.

Brooklyn vs Boston

Boston: Don’t really like anyone tonight for Boston. Phil Pressey is decent but his increase in value with limited production makes it hard to plug him in lineups. Gerald Wallace has been very up and down, but if he starts then he does make a good value play.

Brooklyn:

Jason Terry PG/SG- Is minimum value on all sites and faces Boston in Boston for the first time since they traded him away. If you are looking for player that is very cheap that could have a big performance than Terry is your man.

Paul Pierce SF- Think he is on a mission tonight to stick it to Boston for trading him. He is below average price on most sites so he has major boom potential.

Phoenix vs Cleveland

Phoenix:

Goran Dragic PG/SG- Nothing special here other than Dragic should have a solid game. He is worth the money if you want to pay for him.

Gerald Green SG/SF- Is more of GPP play as he could go off for a huge game or disappoint and not reach value. Cleveland struggle vs SG’s so hecould be worth the risk.

Cleveland:

Kyrie Irving PG- His home/road splits are crazy as he averages 10+ more FPTs at home than does on the road. He could have a monster game when you mix in the fact that Dragic is not a good defender.

Anderson Varejao PF/C- Makes for a great play on DraftKings where he is only $6,800. Varejao is a lock for 30+ FPTs and always has chance to produce huge games.
