With four games on the slate for the last time this football season, The Black Book will break down the DFS values for each of the major positions on FanDuel and Draft Kings this week. Two sites means two different standards of value. The Black Book’s RPVPD will tell you which to target and which to avoid in the Divisional Playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers has put up 30 or more points over his last three games and the Packers are averaging 39 pass attempts over those contests. The fact is the running game is still just for show and Green Bay will once again rely heavily on Rodgers if they are going to advance to the next round. The likelihood of Jordy Nelson being out doesn’t help his cause, but it’s not enough to pivot off him either since he played most of last weekend without him and put up 362 yards and 4 TD’s. Matt Ryan is right there with Rodgers for $500 less in salary. If you’re thinking about going cheap at QB on FanDuel with the very consistent Dak Prescott, you’re putting your roster in danger. At a -19% RPVPD, Prescott doesn’t offer enough upside for his salary. The Cowboys are going to ride the offensive line and Ezekiel Elliott before they put their playoff life in the hands of a rookie QB.

On DraftKings, Matt Ryan actually takes the #1 spot in terms of cost efficiency. Ryan threw for 335 yards and 3 TD’s the last time he squared off against the Seahawks so his confidence should be high this weekend. He’s more than twice as cost effective as Tom Brady on DK and well above Rodgers as well, so the choice should be clear. Basically it’s Ryan and everyone else here. However, Dak Prescott is a much more viable play on this site in terms of the ratio of price/productivity. This is a prime example of how you can’t make a lineup for one site and just drag it over into contests in another.  Russell Wilson is a trap on both sites, especially after last week’s strong performance. Not only is his RPVPD in the negative everywhere, but his road passer rating is just 82.1, compared to 105.1 at home. Ben Roethlisberger’s dreadful road splits (78.4 rating with just 9 TD/8 INT on the road compared to 115.3 22/7 at home) make him far too risky with so little room for error on the short slate as well.
