With four games on the slate for the last time this football season, The Black Book will break down the DFS values for each of the major positions on FanDuel and Draft Kings this week. Two sites means two different standards of value. The Black Book’s RPVPD will tell you which to target and which to avoid in the Divisional Playoffs.
Here are the top salaried RB’s on FanDuel ranked with RPVPD:
FPPG | Raw RPV | Salary | Pts per $ | RPV Per Dollar
20.6 | 0.442 | 8500 | $413 | 0.271

7.7 | -0.461 | 7500 | $974 | -0.721 |
Ezekiel Elliott looks to be a cash game lock on FanDuel. The offense runs through him and, with Ben Roethlisberger sporting awful home/road splits all year, Le'Veon Bell is in a much more tenuous state than he was during Wild Card weekend. Tevin Coleman is the third-best value on the board, but for the half-point PPR scoring, I would lean towards Devonta Freeman’s touchdown upside. LeGarrette Blount has been a touchdown machine all year and also bears great consideration in this scoring format at home. Seek the TD on FanDuel in all contests! Thomas Rawls may have had a great game last week, but the Seahawks have been inconsistent all year on both ends of the ball and they’re not in Seattle this week. Ty Montgomery’s is clearly banged up after last weekend’s game versus the Giants, but his stats have been far too mediocre all year to consider anyway.
Here are the top salaried RB’s on DraftKings ranked with RPVPD:
FPPG | Raw RPV | Salary | Pts per $ | RPV Per Dollar
14.9 | -0.102 | 4500 | $302 | 0.264
18.2 | 0.097 | 5900 | $324 | 0.210
14.5 | -0.126 | 5200 | $359 | 0.126
23.2 | 0.399 | 8500 | $366 | 0.107
28.5 | 0.718 | 10500 | $368 | 0.102
15.4 | -0.072 | 5800 | $377 | 0.082
14.5 | -0.126 | 5600 | $386 | 0.058
9.6 | -0.421 | 5300 | $552 | -0.346
10.5 | -0.367 | 6900 | $657 | -0.602 |
Now, the full-point PPR does put Tevin Coleman back on the table in DK, especially with a FLEX position to fill. He scored just 2.7 points in his other contest this year versus the Seahawks. But that was Week 6 and this is the playoffs, so take that with a grain of salt (as well as his teammate Freeman’s mere eight points in that same contest). With Elliott and Bell having identical RPVPD, you’d be crazy to pay the extra $2K for Bell. Blount’s lack of presence in the passing game hurts his value on DK a bit and Lamar Miller would be a wise contrarian play. The Texans won’t get shut out again and Miller is the safest bet for a Texans’ TD.
