It’s almost becoming mandatory to have at least one elite level RB in your LU if you’re going to make any GPP headway these days. Therefore the savings must either come from players trending the right way like Kenneth Dixon, or backs with sudden starting gigs like Kenneth Farrow at RB2. The one thing is clear, you’re going to have to maximize the WR slots as a result and RPVPD has their value locked in for Week 15! There are even some

Jordy Nelson is a must start every week considering his red zone appeal and touchdown upside. His +9% may not be Earth shattering, but it’s reliable. T.Y. Hilton may have his work cut out for him this week against the Vikings secondary, but he put up 22 pts against the Texans last week so he may have more contrarian appeal than meets the eye. Antonio Brown is a strong value despite his cost, but Ben Roethlisberger’s recent road woes make Brown a questionable play. Mike Evans is coming off back to back bad weeks, but the Cowboys have not been the same without Morris Claiborne and Evans is due for a bounce back. It will take big time guts to start A.J. Green in DFS right out of the gate after an injury, but the RPVPD alludes to the fact it’s a calculated risk worth considering. Couple that with his low potential ownership percentage and you may have a potential game changer. Emmanuel Sanders is also in play this week considering his volume and the Broncos recent offensive pass bias.

Tyreek Hill may be a bit boom or bust, but against the Titans 31st ranked pass defense, he’s very much a factor this week. Jeremy Maclin being back is actually a plus for him as well. News out of Chicago was that Matt Barkley was working hard on getting in tune with Alshon Jeffery, but that’s too little too late to make a difference this week for Jeffrey’s value. DeAndre Hopkins is once again a non-factor. He’s topped double digit point just once in the last seven weeks. Michael Thomas is not 100% and he’s far less desirable outside of the dome like all Saints receivers. Dontrelle Inman on the other hand has reached double digits the last three weeks in a row. At $5.5K, Inman is a great play against the Raiders’ porous pass defense. Taylor Gabriel at $5.8K is also in play this week and like Hill, Julio Jones being on the field makes him potentially more appealing. If Michael Crabtree ($6K) were healthy this week, he’d be a lock play. However, multiple injuries have really hurt his value down the stretch. Even at that discounted price, you should pass on Crabtree.

BLACK BOOK LINEUP WEEK 15

QB Philip Rivers SD $7.8K

Last time Rivers faced the Raiders he threw for 359 yards and he should come close to 300 yet again this weekend.

RB LeSean McCoy BUF $9K, LeGarrette Blount NE $6.3K

McCoy is poised for a huge day and is a nice fade from Bell and DJ at the very top in cash games. In ½-point PPR, Blount’s touchdown upside and likely heavy involvement in this weeks’ Pats game plan against a weak Broncos run defense makes him a strong value.

WR Jordy Nelson GB $7.7K, Tyreek Hill KC $6.4K, Dontrelle Inman SD $5.5K,

Nelson is the most heavily red zone targeted player in the league. Hill is playing one of the worst pass defenses in football and has been made a priority in the offense the last few weeks. With Tyrell Williams still not 100%, Inman should have a clear shot at 3x value.

TE Travis Kelce KC $6.9K

Four straight 100 yard games and the 31st ranked pass defense, sign me up!

K Justin Tucker BAL $5.2K

One of the better kickers in the game is worth owning in an era where “sure things” are an endangered species.

D/ST Bills $5.1K

Yeah, it’s chalk, but RG3 will provide the turnovers to make them a strong value.
