Finally, we have a large enough sample size to breakdown positions! So, let’s begin with the Quarterbacks. Yes, in season long leagues we are flush with options, but in 2 QB leagues and daily fantasy we need to work harder to get the most production we can from the position. The daily world especially requires a discerning eye considering even lower end quarterbacks can contribute reasonable stats. Using Relative Position Value Per Dollar (RPVPD), we can zero in on the most cost effective options, earmarked for big returns.

If you’re looking for a contrarian play, Jameis Winston versus the stout Broncos defense is exactly that. We’ve seen a much more complete quarterback this year in Tampa Bay and he’s an incredibly cost efficient choice for Week 4 with likely low ownership rates. Drew Brees may be expensive, but he’s been worth every penny this season. Expect big things from him again this week against a banged up Chargers secondary. Mathew Stafford and Cam Newton are also very strong selections in any contest based on their ratio of cost/production/matchup. Joe Flacco may be tantalizing against the Raiders pass defense, but it’s a trap. Russell Wilson is banged up, on the road and is facing a Jets defense that was embarrassed last week. He’s simply a bad investment.

QB Cam Newton CAR $9.3
Cam Newton gives the Falcons fits and should see goal line action Sunday. Expect a bounce back performance.
RB Carlos Hyde SF $6.8K, DeMarco Murray TEN $7.3K
Carlos Hyde has been a steady presence in the 49ers’ offense and comes with TD upside. DeMarco Murray basically IS the Titans offense and the Texans without J.J. Watt are not the Texans. LeGarrette Blount ran all over them last week so Murray has a big opportunity Sunday.
WR Antonio Brown PIT $9.4K, Kelvin Benjamin CAR $7.7K, Cole Beasley $5.2K
Antonio Brown will continue to be the best WR in the game and will not go two weeks in a row without a TD (especially in primetime). Kelvin Benjamin laid a goose egg in Week 3. There’s no way the Panthers don’t make sure that doesn’t happen two weeks in a row. He’s a big matchup problem for the Falcons.
TE Zack Miller CHI $5K
Zack Miller caught 8 of his 9 targets and had 2 TD’s last weekend. He’s facing a Lions team that’s been abused by tight ends this year.
K Nick Folk NYJ $4.5K
The Jets will have trouble converting in the red zone with so many banged up WR’s.
D/ST Patriots $4.5K
In New England, the Pats are amost impossible to beat. Once they take away LeSean McCoy what else do the Bills have?
