Dylan Carlson, OF – Hitting second for the Cardinals tonight and still under $3,000. He has cooled off a bit since his start to the season but the kid has talent and this is a hard price to pass up for someone hitting at the top of a lineup.

Yadier Molina , C – I never spend up on a catcher and it’s rare to see Molina over $4,000 which tends to make him my catcher on a night-to-night basis. It also helps that he hits in the middle of the Cardinals lineup and is having a good offensive season, hitting .288 with six home runs and an OPS of .854 to start the year.

Albert Pujols , 1B -  He has hits in all but one game since joining the Dodgers. He is hitting cleanup once again here and the Giants are calling up lefty Scott Kazmir to make the start for them today. The Dodgers rank first in wOBA against LHP this season which means Pujols could be in a spot to easily pay off his price tag seeing that he is min-price tonight.

Mark Canha , OF – Love getting Canha in lineups against left-handed pitching. Over the last two games the power is coming through with homers in each and four homers over the past seven contests.

Jean Segura , 2B/3B – Segura collected three hits last night against the Red Sox which included his third home run of the season. After a strong start to the year Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi has been hittable of late. With Segura locked into the top half of the order, there is some nice value here at his $2,700 price tag.

Bobby Dalbec, 1B/3B – What I look for in value plays is power and Dalbec has as much home run upside as anybody in baseball. He went 2-for-4 with a home run last night and has three home runs and three doubles over his last seven games.
