Point Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Luka Doncic DAL4If it was at all possible for Doncic to produce even more than he has already, now is that time because of Kristaps Porzingis sore Knee. Expect him to take more charge by shooting more from the perimeter.
2Trae Young ATL4Young is fully healthy and if John Collins sits, he'll produce even more for those games. Collins won't impact Young much anyway, but with Collins likely out, he'll need to shoot more.
3Devonte GrahamCHA4Graham remains the prioritized scorer in Charlotte as he and Terry Rozier will continue handling most of the offense and Graham will also provide help with assists as well.
4Chris Paul  OKC4Paul has improved his production a bit and even with Danilo Gallinari fully healthy, he'll still be the primary playmaker and he'll look to get inside and we can always rely on him to grab steals.
5Spencer Dinwiddie BKN4Dinwiddie's value is safe with Kyrie Irving still down for the count and it's looking like Irving is trying to avoid having Shoulder surgery and for the time being, Dinwiddie will be the primary scorer.
6Damian Lillard POR3Lillard doesn't have a lot of other options to work with and he's forced to take more shots and that will benefit fantasy owners. He'll have games in which his assist-total is lower because of lack of depth.
7Russell Westbrook HOU3Westbrook is liability when it comes to helping maintain a strong shooting percentage for the week because he hasn't been productive from the arc, but, he's one of the best drivers in the league.
8Jamal Murray  DEN4Murray will continue to handle a good amount of the offense by himself. When Nikola Jokic is doubled, Murray will have more room to create with the ball at the elbow and arc.
9Eric Bledsoe MIL4Bledsoe hasn't looked back since returning and even though he's lower on the priority list when it comes to the Bucks shooters, he'll still help grab steals on the perimeter.
10Kyle Lowry TOR3Lowry remains the Raptors top option by far and we still don't know when to expect Pascal Siakam back on the court and he'll have to force himself in the lane more and he'll draw contact.
11Ben Simmons PHI3Simmons is an excellent driver, but, like Westbrook, he isn't a jump-shooter and opposing teams are figuring that out and lining up more inside. Simmons will help big time with boards and assists.
12Lonzo Ball NO4Ball has responded well to the lineup changes and he's been able to stay on the court. His shooting is a bit inconsistent but he makes up for it in other areas and he'll help with rebounds, dimes and steals.
13Dennis Schroder OKC4Schroder will always be in an advantageous position with the Thunder because they lack serious depth. They are very top-heavy and he'll lead the Thunder second unit in scoring.
14Kemba Walker BOS4INJ: Walker is still sick and he'll miss Monday's game. His next chance to play will be Wednesday night versus San Antonio at home. Marcus Smart will start in his place until he's ready to return.
15D'Angelo Russell GSW4INJ: It's looking like Russell will miss his first game of the week on Monday as he's dealing with an injured Shoulder. If he needs to sit, Ky Bowman and Alec Burks will see more minutes.
16Dejounte Murray SAS4Murray had been dealing with personal issues, but, he should be active for the Spurs full slate this week and his defense will keep him in the game even though the Spurs have a lot of guard depth.
17Marcus Smart BOS4Smart's usage rate will be high to start the week because Walker is still sick and Smart benefits by drawing starts. He'll take more shots and we already know that his defense will keep him on the court.
18Tomas Satoransky CHI4Satoransky is a much better driver than jump-shooter and if Lauri Markkanen sits, he'll need to drive the lane even more. He'll provide help with dimes. He'll focus on getting in the lane.
19Ricky Rubio PHX3Rubio has a solidified role on the Suns and even with Deandre Ayton back in the mix, he still controls the offense for the most part and he'll find plenty of ways to get in the lane.
20Elfrid Payton NY4Payton's wife just had a baby and he missed his previous game. It's looking like he should be active for the Knicks full slate. The Knicks first game of the week is on Tuesday.

Shooting Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1James Harden HOU3Even with three games this week, Harden is still at the top of the rankings because of high-volume of shots he takes each game and he'll continue to take a lot of three-pointers even with Eric Gordon back.
2Bradley Beal WSH4INJ: Beal could return to the court on Monday after missing his last two games and four of his last five. We'll have to wait and see if he'll be ready for Monday night with a full slate of games.
3Jrue Holiday NO4INJ: Holiday may sit for the Pelicans first game of the week on Monday night with an injured Elbow. If he sits, Josh Hart and Lonzo Ball will benefit.
4Donovan Mitchell UT4Mitchell will have to drive more rather than hang at the arc until Mike Conley is ready to return. Having Jordan Clarkson on the team should put Mitchell in the position to drive the lane more.
5Zach LaVine CHI4LaVine hasn't been 100 percent, but he continues to play through the soreness and he'll continue being the Bulls top option and will see even more usage if Markkanen has to sit to start the week.
6Jaylen Brown BOS4Brown will see more shots with Walker out and he's been good at balancing his offensive attack so it keeps the opposition guessing whether or not he'll drive or pull-up and shoot.
7DeMar DeRozan SAS4DeRozan will continue to creep around the elbow to find openings and even though he doesn't have a long-range game, being closer to the basket gives him a better chance to grab more boards.
8Khris Middleton MIL4Middleton is the Bucks second scoring option and he loves his sweet spot from the top of the key not just to shoot, but to hit the cutter and that will help his assist-numbers long term.
9Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OKC4Gilgeous-Alexander is technically the prioritized scorer and even though Paul will be running the point for the most part, he'll get plenty of shots and he'll help grab boards and steals as well.
10Terry Rozier CHA4Rozier will get time both on and off the ball. Rozier is excellent in transition and will keep the Hornets offense moving quickly on the court and he'll help with dimes and steals.
11Jimmy Butler MIA3INJ: Butler missed his last game with an injured Back and he has until Wednesday to rest up before the Heat take the court again for the first of their three games this week.
12Alec Burks GSW4Burks will not only see his scoring usage go up, but he'll also get time to command the offense if Russell sits for his first game of the week. Expect his scoring, assists and steals to go up this week.
13Devin Booker PHX3Booker continues to not only be the prioritized scorer for the Suns, but he'll also help run the point which makes him even more valuable because he's mainly a scorer, but, this year he's helped more w/ dimes.
14Fred VanVleet TOR3VanVleet's role will continue to be strong for the rest of the season and he'll get to produce a lot with the Raptors second unit until they at least get Norman Powell back in the mix.
15Andrew Wiggins MIN3Wiggins was sick and that hindered him a bit over the last couple of weeks, but, he's back to full strength and with Karl-Anthony Towns still hurt, he'll be the Timberwolves top option until Towns returns.
16JJ Redick NO4If Holiday sits or gets restricted, expect Redick to be taking more shots. He should also see a minor boost in his assists. Opposing teams always expect him to shoot and he'll trick them at times and pass off.
17CJ McCollum POR3INJ: It's that time of the year! McCollum is sick and missed his last game. He may need to sit for Tuesday's game if he's not recovered. Anfernee Simons will see more minutes if he can't go.
18Damion Lee GSW4Lee has been helpful on both sides of the ball and with both Russell and Draymond Green injured, he'll be seeing more shots and he'll help grab long boards and steals on the perimeter.
19RJ Barrett NY4Barrett has been one of the few bright spots for the Knicks this season and he's not the most reliable shooter, but he doesn't give up on plays and he'll crash the boards and help with boards and steals.
20Buddy Hield SAC3With the Kings still suffering from mid and frontcourt injuries, De'Aaron Fox and Hield will have to handle more production from their end and Hield will also help produce rebounds and steals.

Small Forward

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1LeBron James LAL3James is at the top of the rankings because he handles a lot of the Lakers playmaking and that will always put him in line for high-scoring and high-assist games. His Groin is feeling better.
2Brandon Ingram NO4Ingram has had to handle multiple jobs in the Pelicans lineup and he's already their top option and if Holiday sits, he'll see even more usage to start the week.
3Gordon Hayward BOS4Hayward has seen his stats go up lately and even playing next to Brown and Jayson Tatum , he's still been able to get a lot of shots and Walker being out also helps his cause to start the week.
4Will Barton DEN4Barton is a strong two-way player and even if he struggles scoring the ball, he'll make up for it helping produce in three other categories and he even has a post-game as well that helps him get in the lane.
5Marcus Morris NY4Morris is drawing a lot of interest from the trade market because of his enforcer skills and his ability to hit three-pointers consistently and that's an area in which the Knicks continue to struggle in.
6Jabari Parker ATL4INJ: Parker is sick and may have to miss his first game of the week on Monday which is crushing to his value because John Collins may sit as well and when Collins is out of the way, Parker thrives.
7Taurean Prince BKN4Prince plays good defense and he'll grab boards and steals in the lane, but, on offense the Nets don't let him create with the ball at the elbow and he's stuck at the arc and takes a lot of three's.
8Joe Harris BKN4Harris value is safe to start the week because the Nets are being very tentative with Caris LeVert . The Nets are still contending for a playoff spot and they want LeVert healthy and Harris will see more usage.
9Joe Ingles UT4Ingles has been able to benefit by getting more shots with Conley still injured. Jordan Clarkson being there will likely take the ball out of his hands a bit, but Ingles will still grab long boards and steals.
10Josh Hart NO4Hart will see more minutes and will even get some time to run the ball if Holiday sits. He can play multiple positions on the floor and because Ingram draws a lot of attention, he'll have more room to create.
11Miles Bridges CHA4Bridges plays a lot at the arc on offense and doesn't drive the lane enough and the Hornets would have more success if they let him attack more. He'll help with long-range shots and blocks.
12Tobias Harris PHI3Harris will continue being the second shooting option. If the lane is open all game, the Sixers will feature Simmons more because of how great of a driver he is. Harris will also grab boards on defense.
13Kawhi Leonard LAC2Leonard would be much higher in the rankings if the Clippers didn't draw the short slate and he should be active for both of the Clippers games this week since they aren't on consecutive days.
14Rudy Gay SAS4Gay doesn't need a lot of minutes in order to produce points and boards. One thing I'm noticing about his game this year, he's been allowed to fire more from downtown rather than just from the post.
15Troy Brown Jr.  WSH4Brown will be one of the Wizards prioritized scorers even when Beal plays, but, Beal can't shake the Leg injury and he may need to sit out for the Wizards to start the week and Brown will pick up more shots.
16Glenn Robinson IIIGSW4Robinson earns his minutes because of his defense and especially with Green hurt, lock him in for 30-plus to start the week. He'll take a good amount of long-range shots and he'll help grab steals.
17Kelly Oubre Jr. PHX3Oubre shouldn't be impacted too much with Ayton back in the mix. Oubre is the Suns best perimeter defender and his minutes are safe. He may lose a few shots, but he'll still help with boards and steals.
18Dorian Finney-Smith DAL4With Tim Hardaway Jr. and Porzingis sidelined, Finney-Smith should see more playing time until at least Hardaway returns and Finney-Smith will help grab long rebounds and he can hit the open three.
19Royce O'Neale UT4With Conley still out, O'Neale will help the Jazz both in the post and bringing up the ball. Clarkson will take the ball out of O'Neale's hands a bit, but, O'Neale is still more familiar with the offense.
20Harrison Barnes SAC3Bogdan Bogdanovic is a bit banged up and Marvin Bagley III is still out and that will benefit Barnes because the Kings have a lot of mid-court players. Expect Barnes usage to go up on both sides of the ball.

Power Forward

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL4Antetokounmpo's Back may not be 100 percent, but he continues to play through the pain. The only issue is that the Bucks will likely limit his minutes if they have a double-digit lead from wire to wire.
2Anthony Davis LAL3Davis has been able to stay in the lineup and the chemistry between him and James looks excellent and Davis will continue to log a ton of minutes and help in multiple categories including hitting deep shots.
3LaMarcus Aldridge SAS4Aldridge will have to continue making a huge impact at multiple parts of the post because Jakob Poeltl hasn't been too helpful and outside of Trey Lyles , the Spurs don't have other bigs to help out.
4Jayson Tatum BOS4Tatum will be by far the prioritized scorer with Walker still sits. Expect Tatum to always be productive and he'll help grab boards and steals as well. He'll log more minutes with Walker off the floor.
5Julius Randle NY4Randle has had a strong last month of action and he's been hitting more long-range jumpers and has been featured more in general. With Morris at the arc, Randle has a lot of space to work the post.
6John Collins ATL4INJ: Collins missed his last game with a Back injury and he may need to sit for his first game of the week on Monday night. Alex Len and DeAndre Hunter should benefit. Jabari Parker should too if he's active.
7Danilo Gallinari OKC4Gallinari doesn't have competition behind him to take minutes away even with Hamidou Diallo back in the lineup and he's a good complimentary player to Steven Adams playing style.
8Bojan Bogdanovic UT4Bogdanovic continues to see a lot of long-range shots and even though he plays power forward, he's kept at the arc for most of the game. He's scored 20.5 points and hits 3 three-pointers per game.
9Kristaps Porzingis DAL4INJ: Porzingis is dealing with a sore Knee and he will sit for the fourth straight game on Monday. His next chance to play is Wednesday night. Maxi Kleber will see more usage while he's out.
10Kevin Love CLE3Love is coming off of a rest game and hopefully the drama between Love and the Cavs management won't keep him benched or anything. It's something to think about as the Cavs will look to shop Love.
11PJ WashingtonCHA4Washington hasn't looked back since returning from injury and he's scored in double figures in every game he's played in since returning to the lineup and he'll block shots as well.
12Paul Millsap DEN4Millsap is another forward with ability to create in the post that's kept at the arc for the most part because of how much Nikola Jokic takes up the paint. Millsap will help pull down boards as well.
13Eric Paschall GSW4With Green out for the Warriors first game of the week, Paschall will see more playing time. He seems to be over his issue he was having with his Hip and he can hit long-range jumpers as well.
14Maxi Kleber DAL4If Porzingis continues to sit, Kleber will see more minutes and shots and the Mavs need other long-range shooters to help fill the void that Hardaway and Porzingis have left behind. He'll produce boards too.
15Jaren Jackson Jr.MEM3Jackson needs to play more in the lane on offense and not just shoot shots from the arc. He's got strong leaping ability and will work well in the post if the Grizzlies force him to set up inside more.
16Al Horford PHI3Horford has been very helpful complimenting Joel Embiid especially when Embiid stays at the arc. We all know Horford has a long-range game as well, but he's not timid calling for the ball in the post.
17Paul George LAC2George escaped a Hamstring injury and the two-game week comes at a good time for him and he should be active in both of the Clippers games this week. Their first game of the week is on Friday.
18Aaron Gordon ORL3Gordon's usage will go up a lot more with Jonathan Isaac out for the next 7-9 weeks of action with an injured Knee. He'll be forced to play more in the post so we can expect more boards this week.
19Robert Covington MIN3Covington will see more shots if Towns continues to sit and he's even shown that he can handle the post as well as he's grabbed double-digit boards in two of his last three games. He's always good for steals.
20Lauri Markkanen CHI4INJ: Markkanen is dealing with a sprained Ankle and will likely have to miss his first game of the week. It's not confirmed, but he's listed as doubtful for Monday.

Center

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Nikola Jokic DEN4Jokic is slowly seeing his scoring numbers go up more. His average is up to 18.1 points per game and he'll also provide help with boards, dimes and steals. He's having more success driving the lane.
2Rudy Gobert UT4Gobert makes scoring, rebounding and blocking shots look easy and the Jazz lack interior defense and Gobert will play deep into games and he'll always get plays in the post.
3Andre Drummond DET3Drummond will need to help out scoring even more if Blake Griffin continues to sit. The Pistons don't have a lot of depth that can help clear the ball on defense. He'll even grab steals in the lane.
4Joel Embiid PHI3Embiid has been able to stay healthy and he's scored 23.6 point per game this season and he doesn't stay exclusively at the arc, but, if the shots are falling, he'll tend to test his heat from downtown.
5Domantas Sabonis IND3With Malcolm Brogdon still sidelined, more of the Pacers offense will have to be produced in the paint and Sabonis has been dominant from a scoring and rebounding standpoint this season.
6Hassan Whiteside POR3The Blazers continue to run out of depth up front and Whiteside can only play so many minutes. He may see a minor minutes boost and he doesn't need a ton of time to produce points and boards.
7Nikola Vucevic ORL3Vucevic will see more plays called for him in the post and at the arc with Isaac injured. The Magic should leave Vucevic in the post as much as possible because they need all of the interior help they can get.
8Steven Adams OKC4Adams is averaging nearly a double-double after a slow start to the season. He's an inside specific center who will always be very physical in the post. Adams is also blocking 1.2 shots per game.
9Jarrett Allen BKN4Allen doesn't need a ton of playing time to produce points and boards. He's more versatile in the post than DeAndre Jordan and the timeshare at center shouldn't impact either player negatively.
10Clint Capela HOU3Capela is fully healthy as he was dealing with a sore Heel that kept him out for a couple of games at the end of December. The Rockets don't have much depth behind Capela and he'll see 30-plus mpg.
11Wendell Carter Jr. CHI4If Markkanen sits, Carter could be in line for more plays called for him in the post. He's been dealing with a minor Abdominal injury, but it shouldn't keep him out for the Bulls first game of the week.
12Derrick Favors NO4Favors has been a monster since returning and he's grabbing 10.3 boards per game. The Pelicans have a lot of inexperienced players up front and that will benefit Favors who also blocks one shot per game.
13Bam Adebayo MIA3Adebayo has been one of the biggest breakout players of the 2019-2020 season and the Heat will continue to utilize him heavily and if Jimmy Butler sits, he can be set up for even more scoring usage.
14Deandre Ayton PHX3Ayton is over his Ankle injury and he should be active for all three of the Suns games this week with Frank Kaminsky out indefinitely, Aron Baynes will have another spot to fill-in and Ayton won't be impacted.
15DeAndre Jordan BKN4Jordan has been dealing with a small Knee injury but he isn't expected to miss any games (at this moment) for the Nets full slate and he's a volume player who doesn't need a lot of minutes to produce.
16Mitchell Robinson NY4Robinson has been able to stay out of foul trouble a lot more lately, thus, he's been getting more plays called for him in the post. He's one of the stronger shot blockers in the league blocking 1.9 shots per game.
17Brook Lopez MIL4We all know the deal with Lopez, but with the full slate this week, he's more valuable. He'll help a ton with scoring and shooting percentages. He'll also block shots consistently. He struggles grabbing boards.
18Cody Zeller CHA4Zeller has scored in double figures in his last four games and he played just 20 minutes in one of those games. Watch his minutes if you own him. He has blocked shots in three of his last five games.
19Enes Kanter BOS4Kanter has improved his production lately. He's produced double-doubles and blocked multiple shots in his last three games and he doesn't need that much playing time to produce. Boston lacks center depth.
20Karl-Anthony Towns MIN3INJ: Towns has now missed his last 10 games and it's not exactly clear when we'll see him back on the court. It's possible he returns this week, but he keeps getting the questionable tag and then ruled out.
