Point Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Luka DoncicDAL4With a full slate, Doncic takes the top spot this week as he continues to show that there isn't an opposition that can truly stop him from producing points, boards and dimes as the Mavs top option.
2Damian LillardPOR4Lillard is getting a bit of scoring relief with the arrival of Carmelo Anthony, but he will still get a ton of shots in the Blazers offense as frontcourt offense for them continues to be limited.
3Ricky RubioPHX5Rubio moves way up the rankings with the super-slate and with Deandre Ayton still suspended, he has had to take on more of a scoring role and most of the Suns offense will come frome the backcourt.
4Kyrie IrvingBKN4INJ: Irving is dealing with a minor Shoulder injury and he had to miss his previous game and there's a chance he'll have to sit for his first game of the week. The Nets need him out there with Caris LeVert also out.
5Russell WestbrookHOU4Westbrook has been getting rest games all of a sudden and it brings me back to a report I read prior to the season that Houston was going to stagger his minutes with James Harden. Rest games though? Yikes!
6Devonte GrahamCHA4Graham has been one of the most impressive players this season coming from out of nowhere. A year ago, he was battling Tony Parker for minutes and now he's the team's top scoring option.
7Trae YoungATL3Young will continue to handle most of the offensive burden and will have an eternal green light to continue shooting even if he's off. He'll still provide a lot of assist help and having Jabari Parker helps.
8Eric BledsoeMIL4Bledsoe will take on a bigger role while Khris Middleton recovers as he should become more of a prioritized scorer in the Bucks offense and help with dimes and steals.
9Kemba WalkerBOS3Walker continues to be the Celtics top option as they continue to have issues scoring in the paint and Walker will have to shift around the arc to get open when he's off the ball.
10Dejounte MurraySAS4The Spurs have a lot of guards, but Murray's defense will keep his spot safe and secure as the other guards won't serve as a threat to his playing time. The guards will need to handle a lot of scoring.
11Terry RozierCHA4Let's not forget about Rozier and how he is still high up on the priority list when it comes to scoring and having time to run the offense. He'll continue to toggle between both guard spots.
12Spencer DinwiddieBKN4If Irving has to sit, Dinwiddie's usage will go up even more. Caris LeVert being out of action also help Dinwiddie pick up more shots and time with the ball and he'll keep the Nets offense moving quickly.
13Collin SextonCLE4Sexton has grown as a player since his rookie season and has taken more of a command of the Cavs offense and even with Kevin Love as the top option, Sexton will still get plenty of time with the ball.
14Ben SimmonsPHI3Simmons has been a bit banged up to start the season, but he shouldn't have any issues this week as he continues to be a multi-category producer year after year and he gets a ton of time with the ball.
15Mike ConleyUT4Conley has definitely felt the effects of being on a team with multiple shooters as he hasn't been as productive overall. He's starting to focus more on being a playmaker rather than a scoring guard.
16Jamal MurrayDEN3Murray has been less scoring dependant and has focused more on setting up the Nuggets offense and helping produce assists. He's still the second option when it comes to scoring behind Nikola Jokic.
17Tomas SatoranskyCHI4Satoransky makes the list with the full slate as the Bulls lack mid-court depth and he'll have to continue to utilize his driving ability to force the ball inside and draw contact.
18Bryn ForbesSAS4Forbes continues to be a reliable scoring combo-guard who will come in and play strong defense on the perimeter, fight for boards and he continues to be very involved in the Spurs rotation.
19Lonzo BallNO4INJ: Ball has now missed his last five games and it's hard to tell whether or not he'll be ready to return on Tuesday night. The Pelicans continue to deal with a lot of injuries.
20Patrick BeverleyLAC4INJ: Beverley missed his last two games with a sore Calf and his status is unknown going into the first game of the Clippers full slate on Monday night.

Shooting Guard

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1James HardenHOU4Harden keeps the top spot with the full slate and with Eric Gordon still sidelined and Danuel House Jr. banged up, he'll continue to take a ton of three-pointers as he's clearly the Rockets top scoring option.
2Devin BookerPHX5Booker moves up with the super-slate as the Suns top scoring option and he'll get time to run the point when Rubio needs a breather and that'll keep resulting in more dimes.
3Donovan MitchellUT4Mitchell has been able to break through and continue being a strong scorer despite the additions of Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic. Mitchell is much more effective overall when he attacks the rim.
4Jrue HolidayNO4The Pelicans can barely dress 10 players as of late and more pressure is going to fall on Holiday to not only score but run the point for the team as well.
5Bradley BealWSH3The Wizards are still trying to figure out who else to give a lot of shots to besides Beal and Isaiah Thomas and because of that, Beal will get an unlimited amount of playing time and shots.
6Lou WilliamsLAC4If Beverley needs to sit, Williams will get more playing and draw more starts. He'll also benefit indirectly if Kawhi Leonard needs more games to rest his Knee.
7Zach LaVineCHI4LaVine will get more shots with Otto Porter Jr. hurt and he'll find openings inside to drive and draw contact, but, he's much more reliant on his three-point shooting. He'll have time to run the offense as well.
8CJ McCollumPOR4McCollum will still be the second option for the Blazers even with Anthony coming in. He'll burn the opposition from mid-range and help force the ball inside to Hassan Whiteside giving him more dimes production.
9DeMar DeRozanSAS4DeRozan has been attacking the rim and drawing more contact lately. One of the things he does best is making quick passes and then cutting inside to catch the interior defense off-guard from the opposition.
10Jimmy ButlerMIA3Butler has been ill over the last few days but it shouldn't limit him moving forward as he was able to play through his illness over the weekend. He'll continue to be the Heat's top scoring option.
11RJ BarrettNY4Barrett has been one of the few bright spots and he'll not only get a lot of shots and minutes as Coach Fizdale wants to give him as much run as possible in his rookie season and he'll help grab boards.
12Fred VanVleetTOR3VanVleet will continue to have a huge role with Kyle Lowry still out and he'll spend most of the game running the point, but that doesn't mean that he won't take shots as he'll still be very active offensively.
13Jaylen BrownBOS3Brown's role will be bigger than earlier in the season with Gordon Hayward still sidelined. He's going to be prioritized as a scorer and he'll toggle between SG and SF in games giving him more minutes.
14Shai Gilgeous-AlexanderOKC3Gilgeous-Alexander is back in the rankings with the third game this week and he'll get a lot of time with the ball and he doesn't give up on plays and doesn't have much competition at his position.
15Jordan ClarksonCLE4Clarkson will grab minutes at both guard spots and owners can rely on him for mainly scoring. View help in other categories as an added bonus at this point because he averages under three boards and dimes.
16JJ RedickNO4Redick has been dealing with his own Toe issues, but he's been playing through the pain and because he's desperately needed to be on the court, he'll get more minutes and more shots in the Pelicans offense.
17Buddy HieldSAC3Hield will have a bigger role with De'Aaron Fox out and he'll get not only more shots, but he'll also get time with the ball and the Kings need all of the help they can get offensively.
18Luke KennardDET3Kennard has been able to take advantage of early-season guard injuries and has established a bigger scoring role this season. He'll help keep percentages high from the arc and from the free-throw line.
19Josh HartNO4INJ: Hart is dealing with an Ankle injury that has kept him sidelined for the last three games. His status is up in the air for the Pelicans first game of the week on Tuesday.
20Andrew WigginsMIN3INJ: Wiggins has been sick and has missed his last two games and it's looking like he'll be sidelined for a third straight game as his three game week starts on Monday. There's a small chance he makes it back.

Small Forward

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Kawhi LeonardLAC4INJ: Leonard has missed his last two games with a sore Knee and for load management purposes as well. It's uncertain whether or not he'll have to miss any games this week.
2LeBron JamesLAL3Even with Kelly Oubre Jr. having two more games than James, James puts up production in so many areas that he can out-produce Oubre with fewer games. James has dished 11.2 assists per game this season.
3Kelly Oubre Jr.PHX5Oubre moves way up in the rankings because of the super-slate and with Ayton out, he's been the Suns second scoring option and he'll help grab boards and steals on the defensive end.
4Marcus MorrisNY4The Knicks play better when Morris is on the floor and he doesn't shy away from taking open three-pointers. He'll be a big help grabbing boards and being an enforcer defensively and log a ton of minutes.
5Taurean PrinceBKN4Prince will see more shots and time with the ball while LeVert recovers. Prince is a very smart player and will shoot only when he has a good look and then crash the boards.
6Danuel House Jr.HOU4INJ: After missing his last three games, it's looking like House is ready to return to the Rockets lineup and because of depth issues, he'll continue to see a lot of minutes.
7Tobias HarrisPHI3Harris will produce on both sides of the ball and be the Sixers second scoring option. He'll look to take more three's when Al Horford and Joel Embiid are on the court but he's still pulling down 7.9 rpg.
8Rudy GaySAS4Gay, being the veteran he is, has transformed his game from being an arc player to being a post player and he puts himself in position to produce from mid-range and then to grab boards consistently.
9Joe HarrisBKN4Harris will definitely see more minutes with LeVert out and he'll certainly see more shots if Irving continues to sit for games. He's a good three-point shooter and he'll fight for steals on the other side.
10Miles BridgesCHA4Even though I'm a bit let-down by Bridges in the early-going of the season, he still takes over 10 shots per game, but he spends too much time at the arc and doesn't give himself chances to grab more boards.
11Will BartonDEN3Barton has been able to play multiple positions on the court and being on a deep team could make extra minutes harder to get, but not for Barton who can run the point and fight in the post for rebounds.
12Rodney HoodPOR4Hood's spot in the Blazers rotation is safe and even with Anthony coming in to take shots away from him, Hood plays good perimeter defense and fights hard through screens and will grab steals.
13Kenrich WilliamsNO4The Pelicans injuries have given Williams life in the rotation and he's been able to put up points and boards consistently when he gets more than limited minutes. Expect him to go 20-plus for the next few games.
14Danilo GallinariOKC3Gallinari has been the second leading scorer for the Thunder this season and because they lack depth, he'll continue to log a lot of minutes and take a lot of long-range jumpers and he'll grab long boards.
15Jabari ParkerATL3Parker has given the Hawks the support they've needed offensively since losing John Collins to suspension and he'll continue getting a lot of minutes. He's been helpful on defense grabbing boards and steals.
16Bogdan BogdanovicSAC3Bogdanovic has benefitted a ton with Fox hurt by getting more time on the court and more shots. He can bring up the ball if needed as well. Bogdanovic leads the Kings in steals this season.
17OG AnunobyTOR3Anunoby is known for his defense, but he's elevated his game offensively and with Lowry and Serge Ibaka hurt, he'll continue to see more shots and he'll attack the rim to draw contact.
18Tyler HerroMIA3Herro fights hard on both sides of the ball. On offense, he's constantly fighting through screens to get open on the perimeter and he's been scoring over 13 points per game and grabbing over 5 boards per game.
19Glenn Robinson IIIGSW3The Warriors continue to fight the injury bug and even though Robinson is known more for his defense, he'll see a lot of games playing 30-plus and he'll help grab boards, steals and hit three-pointers.
20Brandon IngramNO4INJ: Ingram missed his last four games because of a Knee injury and he has until Tuesday to heal up for the first game of his full slate of games. Status uncertain for the week.

Power Forward

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Giannis AntetokounmpoMIL4The Greek Freak takes back the top spot with the full slate and he'll continue to help in all areas except three-point shooting. Antetokounmpo will be called on even more (if possible) with Middleton sidelined.
2Paul GeorgeLAC4George has shown that he's healthy and has scored 35 points per game on average in the 2 that he's played in since debuting with the Clippers. He'll be relied on even more if Leonard continues to sit.
3Kevin LoveCLE4Love has been able to stay healthy and he's been the Cavs top scoring option and he'll hit shots from the arc and play in the post as well. He's averaging a double-double for the season.
4Kristaps PorzingisDAL4Porzingis continues to work well with Doncic. The give-and-go continues to work very well and Porzingis will continue to be fed heavily at the arc and he'll grab a good chunk of boards and will block shots.
5Dario SaricPHX5Saric has improved his scoring over his last three games and he clearly wouldn't be as high in these rankings if he didn't have the super-slate. He's still grabbing six boards and at least one steal per game.
6Anthony DavisLAL3Davis will continue to see a lot of PF minutes, but with Kyle Kuzma back in the mix, he'll also see minutes at center and that will make the position more of a timeshare with Davis obviously prioritized.
7Pascal SiakamTOR3Siakam will need to continue to be the Raptors top option as they've lost two rotation players in Lowry and Ibaka. The Ibaka loss will keep Siakam on the floor even more as he'll focus more on driving to the rim.
8LaMarcus AldridgeSAS4Aldridge has started to show improvement in his scoring over his last few games. He started the season not making as much of an impact offensively. He's been working the post more and standing at the arc less.
9Julius RandleNY4Randle is a hard player to box out of the paint and he's not only led the Knicks in rebounding, but also in assists as well. When he gets the ball at the elbow, he'll wait for someone to cut before making his move.
10Lauri MarkkanenCHI4Markkanen has been hovering around the arc a lot this season as he takes six three-pointers per game. He's been making an impact on the glass as the team's second leading rebounder and grabs a steal per game.
11Bojan BogdanovicUT4Bogdanovic will toggle between both forward positions and he's called upon late in tight games to hit mid and long-range jumpers. He'll be a more prioritized scorer than Mike Conley scoring nearly 20 ppg.
12PJ WashingtonCHA4Washington has been one of the best rookies of the season and even though he has a reliable long-range game, he'll still battle for boards and look to drive inside to draw contact.
13P.J. TuckerHOU4Tucker doesn't have any other competition as PF and he'll continue to log a lot of minutes and get shots from the perimeter on offense. When Harden is in isolation mode, Tucker will often be left open.
14Jayson TatumBOS3Tatum's role will continue to be huge especially picking up more shots with Hayward out. The Celtics have a weak frontcourt and he'll get the green light to do what he wants on offense even when missing shots.
15Al HorfordPHI3The Sixers rely heavily on their starters to score and Horford will be involved in the post and he'll serve as a bailout option from the arc and help the team by grabbing boards and blocking shots.
16Larry Nance Jr.CLE4INJ: Nance missed his last game as he's dealing with a sprained Thumb but he hasn't been ruled out for the Cavs first game of the week on Monday night.
17JaMychal GreenLAC4Even though Montrezl Harrell eats up a lot of minutes and handles a lot by himself inside, Green has been able to stretch the floor and hit three's and he actually leads the Clippers in rebounding.
18Blake GriffinDET3Griffin should start to see more playing time in the coming weeks as the Pistons have been careful not to give him too much of a workload early. Expect him to be the prioritized scorer for the rest of the way.
19Draymond GreenGSW3Green can only do so much as opposing team's will look to double-team him every single time he gets the ball so it forces him to pass off and make other players beat them. The Warriors are very injured.
20Paul MillsapDEN3Millsap has still been able to make an impact in the Nuggets rotation. He'll be seen camping out at the arc a lot during games. Millsap has shot 51.5 percent from the arc this season.

Center

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Karl-Anthony TownsMIN3It may look strange seeing Towns and Andre Drummond ranked above Aron Baynes, who has two more games than them this week, but Towns and Drummond have been two of the most productive centers.
2Andre DrummondDET3Drummond will continue getting fed a lot inside while Griffin continues to get his groove back in the post and he'll grab a ton of boards as he does every season. He leads the Pistons in four different categories.
3Aron BaynesPHX5Baynes has helped fill the void that Ayton left behind when he was suspended and even though he's more of a three-point shooting threat, on defense he'll be a hound and fight for boards and loose balls.
4Rudy GobertUT4Gobert has a lot of other scorers to deal with this season on the Jazz, but the Jazz lack other low-post players and Gobert will have the low-block all to himself to score, grab boards and block shots.
5Clint CapelaHOU4INJ: Capela had been out with a Concussion over his last couple of games, but it's looking like it's all behind him as he's expected to return for the first game of the Rockets full slate.
6Tristan ThompsonCLE4Thompson has had an incredible season considering Love is back in full force and he's been an excellent compliment to Love this season. When Love is at the arc, Thompson has the paint all to himself.
7Hassan WhitesidePOR4Whiteside is getting a little relief offensively in Anthony, but that won't help fill the entire void the Blazers need to fill inside. Whiteside should see less pressure in the lane with Anthony in the game on offense.
8Joel EmbiidPHI3Embiid will continue to lead the Sixers in scoring, rebounding and blocks and shouldn't face as much "load management" this season as we've seen in previous years because of health issues.
9Frank KaminskyPHX5Kaminsky has also picked up a lot of minutes because of the Ayton suspension. The Suns just don't have a lot of depth up front and Kaminsky will be needed to stretch the floor and set screens at the elbow.
10Montrezl HarrellLAC4Harrell will continue to be a force inside on offense as he's scoring over 18 points per game. Harrell will often drive and draw contact. He never gives up on plays and his minutes won't be impacted by George.
11Wendell Carter Jr.CHI4Carter leads the Bulls in rebounding and shot-blocking. He's strictly an inside center who will serve as a good compliment to Markkanen because Markkanen will play more at the arc on offense.
12Nikola JokicDEN3Jokic's production has gone down this season when it comes to scoring and rebounding, but the season is still young and he can pick it back up. He leads the Nuggets by dishing six assists per game.
13Bam AdebayoMIA3Adebayo is the Heat's strongest player in the post and he'll continue seeing a lot of playing time. He'll even look to bring up the ball at times and attack the lane immediately so he draws contact.
14DeAndre JordanBKN4Jordan has the edge from a production standpoint over Jarrett Allen, but the Nets center spot will continue to be a big timeshare and both play an identical style of game. Jordan is very raw offensively.
15Cody ZellerCHA4Zeller has made a case for being comeback player of the year so far as he's been given more minutes, his Knee issues seem to be behind him and he's been grabbing over nine boards per game.
16Mitchell RobinsonNY4Robinson has been limited a lot this season because of injuries and he still has room to grow on the offensive side of the ball, but, he's been a strong rebounder and shot-blocker. He's blocked 1.7 shots per game.
17Jarrett AllenBKN4While Jordan leads the Nets in rebounding, Allen leads the Nets in blocks. He actually gets more playing time on average than Jordan. They are very identical except than Allen is 10 years younger.
18Brook LopezMIL4Lopez blocks at least two shots per game, but he can't even average five boards per game. The good news for Lopez is that with Middleton sidelined, he'll see more long-range shots.
19Thomas BryantWSH3Bryant leads the Wizards in boards and blocks and will continue being the second scoring option because the Wizards don't have any inside depth beyond Bryant and Rui Hachimura. Bryant has scored 14.4 ppg.
20Derrick FavorsNO4INJ: Favors is dealing with Back spasms and his status to start his full slate of games is currently up in the air, but the Pelicans are down a lot of depth and he missed his previous game.
