Analysis

1

Chris Paul

LAC

5

When you are a top performer at your position and you have a five game slate, even being in the same rankings as Westbrook and Harden, you get the top spot.

2

Russell Westbrook

OKC

3

The difference between five games and four games is one thing, but a TWO game difference? Westbrook gets the second spot.

3

James Harden

HOU

3

Another top player with three games, and he would be more considered versus Paul this week if it was just a one game difference.

4

John Wall

WSH

4

Wall's foot was a bit sore, but he has seemed to be able to shake off the injury and Wizards fans everywhere can exhale and expect him active for the full slate.

5

Stephen Curry

GSW

4

Curry is still the top option with Kevin Durant recovering and he won't abandon his PG duties as he always looks to drive and dish inside.

6

Damian Lillard

POR

4

Lillard remains the top scoring option on a team with an inconsistent front court and he continues to create by himself while the rest of the team screens or watches.

7

Isaiah Thomas

BOS

4

Top scoring option with bone bruise in Knee and he may have to miss a game this week.

8

Kemba Walker

CHA

4

With Batum back, Walker can focus more on being a true PG and his assist numbers should increase this week as the offensive burden is taken off of his shoulders just a little bit.

9

Jeff Teague

IND

4

Teague continues to do a good job making quick passes upon receiving the ball at the top of the key and he will often look to drive through the middle and kick out to the open wing.

10

Kyrie Irving

CLE

3

Irving would be higher but with the third game and the return of Kevin Love, Irving's scoring may drop a bit, but he should see a rise for the rest of the categories in his stats this week.

11

Mike Conley

MEM

3

Conley and Gasol remain the Grizz consistency on offense and Conley has been great at slowing up the possesion to look to drive through the middle of the paint and look to kick to an open Gasol.

12

Dennis Schroder

ATL

4

Schroder is still finding his way between being a traditional playmaker versus a scoring one, and he has the quickness to drive, but his shot isn't always there and he turns the ball over.

13

Goran Dragic

MIA

3

Dragic has had to take on more shots and if Dion Waiters has to miss time, even with Wayne Ellington backing him up, Dragic will need to look to create a bit more to get to the hoop.

14

Jrue Holiday

NO

3

Holiday continues to be the de facto third option but he continues to struggle getting a fair share of the ball with two of the most creative and versatile big men in the game asking for the ball at the key.

15

Derrick Rose

NY

4

With Porzingis health in question, Rose (who has the most time with the ball when in the game) will become the second scoring option and he will look to shoot. He's auditioning for next season.

16

Jamal Crawford

LAC

5

Crawford would absolutely be higher in the rankings but his game lives and dies by his shots falling and with a full strength Clippers squad, he may not see as many minutes in some of the games.

17

Ricky Rubio

MIN

3

Rubio has been excellent since the beginning of February and his scoring has been more on point than ever before and has taken the burden off of Wiggins hands and has filled in nicely for the lost LaVine.

18

Rajon Rondo

CHI

4

Rondo has a full slate and no Wade to pass to for the rest of the season meaning he will be taking more shots and will be in the game a bit more down the stretch as scary as that sounds.

19

George Hill

UT

3

Hill is back and his toe has fully recovered at the right time because Rodney Hood's Knee is hurting and he will be seeing a lot more shots this week.

20

D'Angelo Russell

LAL

3

Russell has improved a ton as the season has moved to its latter stage, and he has clearly been working on his drive and not giving up on plays and forcing three-pointers.

Analysis

1

C.J. McCollum

POR

4

McCollum has been a great compliment to Lillard all season and that's more than any other Blazer can say. Back to the top spot with the full slate.

2

Nicolas Batum

CHA

4

Batum is healthy as the Migranes seemed to have subsided and his aggresivness in rebounding has not dropped.

3

Bradley Beal

WSH

4

Beal continues to attack more than wait for the kickout and it has given teams a ton more to watch other than Wall driving.

4

Klay Thompson

GSW

4

Thompson has done an excellent job balancing out the Warriors offense with no Kevin Durant and his defense has been effective. Hard to stop a pure shooter when he's on fire.

5

Avery Bradley

BOS

4

Bradley looks fully healthy and with Thomas banged up, he will have more time with the ball to create off the screens and we should see a slight assist increase this week.

6

DeMar DeRozan

TOR

3

DeRozan has been the most successful SG this season, but the gap has clearly closed between him and the other top guards in the game thus moving down the rankings.

7

Gordon Hayward

UT

3

With Hood and Favors hurt, Hayward will have even more time with the ball and he will look to feed Gobert as much as possible and then run off to get open at other parts of the key.

8

Khris Middleton

MIL

4

Middleton looks more locked in as each week passes and The Greek Freak needs all of the help he can get when doubled and Middleton has been playing more and shooting more. He's healthy!

9

Devin Booker

PHX

4

Suffering from an Ankle injury and he could miss games this week. Be careful

10

J.J. Redick

LAC

5

Redick gets a major boost with the five game slate, but like Crawford, he is very scoring dependant. The difference is that Redick starts and he is always hustling and moving on the court.

11

Gary Harris

DEN

4

With the Nuggets wings banged up, Harris will be seeing a lot more shots down the stretch and has done a good job getting open at the elbow and has good range from long distance.

12

Tim Hardaway Jr.

ATL

4

Hardaway has been attacking the rim more than other Guard/Forwards on the team and with Bazemore and Millsap hurt he will get more time to create with the ball.

13

Victor Oladipo

OKC

3

As always, it's a tale of multiple seasons for Oladipo because when he performs well, it's all scoring and it's hard to put him higher in the rankings without that comfort that he will rebound, pass inside etc.

14

Lou Williams

HOU

3

Williams has made a huge impact since joining the Rockets and has been very effective in both guard spots and he has even out-shined the other guards on the team outside of Harden.

15

Patrick Beverley

HOU

3

Beverley has not been as productive and the addition of Williams is a huge reason, but we cannot forget that Beverley is effective at running the point and will serve as the change of pace option.

16

Eric Gordon

HOU

3

Gordon still gets shots, but he remains a scoring-only guard and with a ton of other options looking for the piece of the pie, Gordon has resorted to being mainly a bailout scoring option.

17

Tyler Johnson

MIA

3

With Waiters hurt, Johnson will be seeing a ton more shots this week and he will look to drive first unlike Waiters and the Heat have been very successful at attacking this season.

18

Wesley Matthews

DAL

3

The Mavs are at full strength but we can still rely on Matthews getting fed in the high post as he often draws smaller defenders and he will grab long rebounds as well.

19

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

DET

3

Unlike the other Pistons Guards, KCP has been a constant when he is open from the elbow. When he is heavily guarded, he sometimes panics and goes to the corner instead of making the quick pass inside.

20

Seth Curry

DAL

3

Curry has been a good change of pace option for the Mavs and scores in volume. He runs the point well and has been to get a secure amount of playing time as a result. Plays both spots well.

Analysis

1

Giannis Antetokounmpo

MIL

4

Hardest decision of the week determining whether or not The Greek Freak deserves the top spot above the more productive James (who has a smaller slate). He should be the top SF producer this week.

2

LeBron James

CLE

3

Not easy de-throning the Kings, but with the lack of full slate, he takes second, but if he out-performs Antetokounmpo with fewer games, he will remain at the top until at least Durant returns.

3

Jimmy Butler

CHI

4

Butler will be able to take as many shots as he wants now that Wade is done for the season. Playing time should improve even more and his scoring will increase down the stretch.

4

Paul George

IND

4

George has been doing a good job being patient and not forcing up shots. He is the definition of what a team player is supposed to be and he will produce in all categories.

5

Carmelo Anthony

NY

4

Anthony will have to take on more of the offensive burden with Porzingis banged up and trust me, he certainly won't mind getting more shots.

6

Kawhi Leonard

SAS

3

Leonard has been very productive and helps out in just about every category but moves down due to the lack of the fourth game.

7

Otto Porter

WSH

4

Porter has been excellent getting open for shots while Wall is driving. He has essentially taken Beal's role of being the bailout option and see's a ton of open shots from long distance. He plays shutdown D.

8

Robert Covington

PHI

4

Covington has picked up his production with the departure of Ersan Ilyasova and Joel Embiid being out for the season and we can always rely on him for scoring, rebounding and steals.

9

Jae Crowder

BOS

4

Crowder is the Celtics main post player and even though he's a bit undersized, he takes more contact than any other Celtic and will always look to drive and post inside and he can be relied on for boards.

10

Wilson Chandler

DEN

4

Groin Injury Questionable for Mondays Game

11

Danilo Gallinari

DEN

4

Knee bone bruise Questionable for Monday's game

12

Will Barton

DEN

4

Barton will absolutely benefit if both of the players above him have to miss time and neither have been able to shake their injuries. Expect playing time and time with the ball to increase tremendously.

13

Ersan Ilyasova

ATL

4

Ilyasova has not had as many productive games unlike when he was in Philly, but with the injuries to Millsap and Bazemore, he will benefit a ton by being the main elbow shooter. Minutes will go up.

14

Andrew Wiggins

MIN

3

Wiggins will continue getting as many shots as he wants and will need to continue to push himself to drive inside to be more of an offensive threat because right now, Rubio clearly drives more than he does

15

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

CHA

4

MKG is very raw offensively, but plays very good defense and will help a bit more consistently in the harder categories to fill than the other Hornets players and he will still get open elbow jumpers.

16

Harrison Barnes

DAL

3

Barnes continues to be an excellent scorer and shutdown defender, and he has been very productive, but he seems to be the only Mavs players who hustes in certain games. Fatigue definitely a factor.

17

Moe Harkless

POR

4

Harkless will continue to get plays from the perimeter and elbow and he is more of a set-shooter than driver, but he will get time with the ball, especially when the guards are being hounded.

18

Trevor Ariza

HOU

3

Ariza will always have a secure amount of playing time because of his defense, but due to all of the shooting options on the Rockets, it is hard to determine how many shots he will get.

19

Tobias Harris

DET

3

Harris has been getting starts and has been a solid attacker all season. He gets the ball and can switch directions on his drive after taking the first step. He is just as productive on the other side of the ball.

20

Evan Fournier

ORL

3

Fournier does not have the best shot selection but remains the top shooting option on Orlando and he will absolutely continue to be fed at the arc. He will look to drive, but it’s a lot of one screen and shoot

Analysis

1

Blake Griffin

LAC

5

This is an easy one. Griffin has a super-slate and Davis does not even have a full slate. Griffin gets the top spot.

2

Anthony Davis

NO

3

If Davis had a fourth game it would be a lot tougher of a decision to take AD out of the top spot.

3

Nikola Jokic

DEN

4

Jokic continues to be the stand out player on the Nuggets and he has been a good creator when he gets the ball at the top of the paint. Runs transition offense very well.

4

Draymond Green

GSW

4

Green continues to be the main power source on the Warriors and will always look to bang inside, but as stated, he is pretty much on his own in the paint until Durant returns.

5

Kevin Love

CLE

3

Love is BACK and looks as close to full health, but remember, the Cavs do not care about your fantasy teams and could rest him a game this week.

6

Kristaps Porzingis

NY

4

Left Thigh bruise hopeful to play Monday

7

Markieff Morris

WSH

4

Morris has been sick and he should play Monday but make sure you are watching the inactives.

8

Trevor Booker

BKN

4

We can always rely on Booker for consistent rebounding inside as he has the paint to himself and he serves as a big help on the offensive glass as he scores most of his points from right under the basket.

9

LaMarcus Aldridge

SAS

3

Aldridge has been cleared and returns to the rankings and should not be held back from playing his usual amount of minutes and he has better range than Pau Gasol and he will continue getting a lot of shots

10

Marvin Williams

CHA

4

Williams has shot up the rankings in recent weeks showing that the Hornets do have productive big weapons on offense. He takes a ton of contact and waits inside to keep the play alive. Good for boards.

11

Greg Monroe

MIL

4

Monroe has been productive, but it is a box chocolates figuring out what exactly is a good match up for hinm because he brings a different amount of intensity in each game he plays in.

12

Julius Randle

LAL

3

Randle has shown a lot of growth throughout the year and with Mozgov and Deng done for the season, he will absolutely see among the most minutes on the Lakers and he produces well in the paint.

13

Serge Ibaka

TOR

3

Ibaka will continue to be the No. 2 option until Lowry returns and he will continue to not use his size on offense and score from the elbow and perimeter. He is a solid on the ball perimeter and paint defender.

14

Dario Saric

PHI

4

Saric is another player who has shot up the rankings due to Ilyasova and Embiid being out of the way. He has a good mid range game and is gritty inside when fighting for boards. He will continue to trend up.

15

Al-Farouq Aminu

POR

4

Aminu will continue doing what he does best, attacking the rim. Expect him to pass off as soon as he is stopped. Can't really create versus bigger defenders in the post and Nurkic will get more plays inside.

16

Kenneth Faried

DEN

4

Faried is healthy and returns to being the enforcer and he can always be relied on for boards and blocks, but remains pretty raw offensively as both Jokic and Plumlee can produce better in the post.

17

Dirk Nowitzki

DAL

3

Nowitzki moves down due to the lack of full slate, but he does not look totally washed up as he is still very productive from the perimeter and will bang inside as the Mavs lack a lot of rebounding weapons.

18

Gorgui Dieng

MIN

3

Dieng will mainly clean up the glass, but will see open shots due to how skilled Karl-Anthony Towns is and that should continue giving him a minor boost offensively and finds good position in the paint.

19

Zach Randolph

MEM

3

Randolph is still gritty and will fight for the ball in the post and is very hard to box out. Randolph still has his mid-range game on offense and will hit shots consistently.

20

Paul Millsap

ATL

4

Left Knee Tightness will miss at least two games this week.

Analysis

1

DeAndre Jordan

LAC

5

Giving Jordan a boost with the fifth game this weekend. He should, by far, have the most boards and blocks among any player this week. He is still raw on offense.

2

Karl-Anthony Towns

MIN

3

Towns is an all-around producer, but he lacks a full slate, but has been impressive and productive enough to move ahead of Boogie in the rankings. Dieng is far less of a threat to production than AD.

3

DeMarcus Cousins

NO

3

Cousins moves to the third spot and fantasy owners must be concerned down the stretch whether or not we will get as much production from him with AD has his teammate.

4

Dwight Howard

ATL

4

Howard moves up with the fourth game and even though he is not the best Center in the league and struggles on the ball, he has played a ton harder this season and loves being in Atlanta. He's motivated!

5

Hassan Whiteside

MIA

3

Whiteside continues to be a dominant force inside and the reason why the Heat have become sound defensively and it is hard fighting him off for rebounds. Definitely a top 5 Center.

6

Al Horford

BOS

4

Horford's perimeter scoring has been a problem for the opposition all season as he will spend most of the game on offense hanging at the arc and with Thomas hurt, he becomes the top shooting option.

7

Brook Lopez

BKN

4

Lopez is all scoring and will sometimes rebound like a Center should. He is one of the best scoring big men in recent years, but still will not produce inside consistently.

8

Rudy Gobert

UT

3

Gobert has been a monster in regards to scoring but especially on the glass and with blocks and he has had to fill in for the injured Favors and with Favors down again, he will get even more plays inside.

9

Andre Drummond

DET

3

Drummond remains a huge rebounding and box out threat, but his offensive skills are limited and does not jump as well as other big men. It is hard for skilled Centers to post him up.

10

Marc Gasol

MEM

3

Gasol is still one of the most balanced Centers in the league and will be a big help for boards on the defensive end. He draws out the opposition as he can hit consistently from the top of the key.

11

Myles Turner

IND

4

Turner is another outside scoring threat, but he attacks the rim a lot more and keeps plays alive for the Pacers proving how valuable of a piece he is and certainly their Center of the present and future.

12

Marcin Gortat

WSH

4

Gortat's cutting has improved this season and has been fed a lot more, but because the Wizards are always on the run offensively, he is kept out of the offensive scheme at times and focuses on defense.

13

Nikola Vucevic

ORL

3

Vucevic moves very well in the post and has benefitted a ton since Ibaka was traded and will continue to be very productive on both sides of the ball down the stretch.

14

Mason Plumlee

DEN

4

Plumlee and Jokic clearly have chemistry and especially on transition the two run very well together and Plumlee gets a ton less defensive attention than Jokic. Even with Faried back, he will still get PT.

15

Cody Zeller

CHA

4

Zeller is back and his Quad is healthy and will bang inside with the biggest of Centers and he and Williams have been controlling the paint very well and he does have post moves and will be fed.

16

Jusuf Nurkic

POR

4

Nurkic continues to show his skills in the post as the Blazers have found their offensive force inside who does not need to draw contact to produce. Nurkic is good at moving the ball to the middle of the paint

17

Pau Gasol

SAS

3

Gasol will continue to create from the wlbow and will pull up and hit shots from there. He also uses his long arms to fight for boards. He has been slower this season, but has adjusted and been a force inside.

18

Jonas Valanciunas

TOR

3

Valanciunas will get consistent shots until Lowry returns and he is able to crash for boards aggresively and the Raptors need all of the help they can get on the glass. He uses his mid-range jumper well.

19

Clint Capela

HOU

3

Capela continues to be the Rockets main defender and will not lose playing time. He brings a point of uniqueness because he posts and scores inside and lets everyone else shoot from distance.

20

Steven Adams

OKC

3

Adams has been gritty all season and poses a big threat stopping transition play inside and even though Kanter is the better scorer, the Thunder need his defense and we can always rely on him for boards.
