(Note: Video Was Recorded Prior to Monday Night Football)

We finally saw the end of the impactful Thursday Night Football injury streak as the Buccaneers and the Eagles escaped without physical harm, but the next day the Eagles roster was shaken up a bit when they traded Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals week six opponents, the Browns, already without Nick Chubb for the contest because of an injured Calf lost their other Running Back Kareem Hunt to a Calf injury that will cost him at least the next few games. The Giants and Washington Football team can’t shake their injury issues either as Kadarius Toney re-injured his Ankle and Antonio Gibson continues to limp forward with an injured shin. Week six did have its bright spots including a 140-yard ground game performance for Dalvin Cook, strong waiver wire payoff performances for Darrel Williams and Kahlil Herbert and a strong bounce-back performance for Adam Thielen. Those that spot-started Kirk Cousins, Teddy Bridgewater and Ricky Seals-Jones were also rewarded during week six.

RISERS

Joe Burrow, QB CIN: With his receivers fully healthy and a top five passing completion percentage at 70.7 percent, Burrow should continue to see his stock rise throughout the season. There are only four other Quarterbacks who have thrown more touchdowns than Burrow. He’s thrown at least two touchdown passes in every game this season. Having the weapons that Burrow has including a healthy Joe Mixon, should help him elevate his game further. Despite throwing only 174 passes, Burrow is top 10 in the league with 1540 passing yards. Burrow has had issues with throwing interceptions, but he hasn’t fumbled. The Bengals have the Ravens up next in week seven of the fantasy football season and they’ve allowed over 277 passing yards per game, which sets Burrow up nicely. The Jets are after that on the schedule for the Bengals

Antonio Brown, WR TB: Over the last three weeks, Brown has received a bit more of a target share and even though he’s behind both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans in total targets, he’s not that far behind in receptions and he has just as many touchdowns as Evans. He has more scores than Godwin with four touchdown receptions. Brown saw a 31 percent target share against the Eagles while Godwin saw a 12 and Evans saw a 10 percent target share. Brown has received more targets than Godwin in the Buccaneers last four games and Brown only played in three of those games. He’s received double-digit targets in two of his last three match ups. Tom Brady has more pass attempts and passing yards than any other quarterback in the NFL and he’ll continue to throw with a lead. The Eagles were strong defensively going in against the pass and Brown torched them for nine receptions for 93 yards and a score. Brown has the Bears up next.

Mike Gesicki, TE MIA: Over the last four weeks, Gesicki has been a top-five fantasy producer at Tight End. After he threw up a zero in the first week of the season and then underwhelmed again in week two, the Dolphins gave him more love in the offense and he’s received at least 20 percent of the targets in 3 of his 4 games since week 2. The Dolphins don’t have a lot of other options as rookie Jaylen Waddle has become the most prioritized receiving option, Gesicki is a close second option. Despite only catching one touchdown pass, Gesicki has caught 30 balls on 43 targets (5th most in the NFL among Tight Ends). Gesicki also ranks fifth among Tight Ends in receiving yards with 342. The Falcons have let up the second most points per game in the league and Rob Gronkowski and Dallas Goedert scored on them earlier this year and Will Fuller is still on injured reserve. The Falcons have had a challenging Tight End to defend against since the second week of the season.

FALLERS

Tyler Boyd, WR CIN: It has become clear that Ja’Marr Chase is the prioritized Wide Receiver in Cincinnati, but that now that Tee Higgins is back on the field, we’ve seen him receive more of the target share than Boyd in the Bengals last two match ups. Unfortunately, the Bengals receivers haven’t been targeted much in the red zone this year and that could make it harder for Boyd to produce if the Bengals decide to continuously lean heavy on Joe Mixon in that area. Besides Chase and Higgins, C.J. Uzomah has more touchdown receptions than Boyd. In his last two games Boyd has five catches for 31 yards collectively. While the match up on paper is good for the Bengals with the Ravens defensive struggles in the air, it’s not going to be for Boyd if he once again gets 13 or 10 percent of the targets as he has received over the last 2 weeks. Chase and Higgins both received 21 percent of the targets in week 6.

Jamaal Williams, RB DET: After playing just 22 snaps or fewer in 4 of his last 5 match ups, it’s becoming harder and harder to trust starting Williams, even during bye weeks. His snap percentage continues to stay in the 30s and even though he’s received double-digit carries in three of his last four battles, Williams isn’t scoring touchdowns and he’s not being utilized in the Lions passing game despite him catching eight passes the first week of the season. In the five games since the first week of the season, Williams has caught eight passes combined. The Lions are winless and have allowed 172 points scored on them through six games and they will be playing from behind a lot for the rest of the season and the game script will often work against Williams because D’Andre Swift can catch passes. Swift has also run in touchdowns in both of his last two games. The fact that Williams isn’t getting action in the passing game semi-consistently further concerns me about his fantasy value because the Lions are bare when it comes to receiving weapons.

Tyler Lockett, WR SEA : This isn’t all on Lockett because Russell Wilson is hurt. From the way it looks thus far as the Seahawks continue to roll with Geno Smith, he had an easier time hooking up with DK Metcalf than Lockett. Both were targeted seven times during week six and Metcalf caught six of his targets while Lockett caught just two. Since the third week of the season, Lockett has eclipsed 10 points in full PPR just once. He’s had three games in which he was targeted just five times. If the Seahawks bring in another QB, how long will it take them to get acclimated? Until Wilson comes back, Lockett Metcalf investors should lower their expectations when it comes to production. The Seahawks ran more offensive plays Sunday than we’re used to seeing, as they run the fewest amount of plays per game in the league. With the ongoing injury issues with their run-game, the Seahawks should pass more, but will the connection between Smith and Lockett improve? Lockett is a very shaky WR-2 at this point until Wilson is back in action. Lockett hasn’t scored a touchdown or caught more than five passes since week two.
