We're in the heart of fantasy football draft season and we've seen some movement over the last few weeks when it comes to average draft position (ADP). David Montgomery was toggling between being a third and fourth round pick in 12-team leagues a few weeks ago and has moved up to being a solidified mid-third round pick. There are questions as to how much Tarik Cohen being back in the mix and Justin Fields potentially starting could negatively impact his production but he's still being drafted at a very reasonable spot and he ran the ball 4.3 yards per carry last season. Other Running Backs such as Saquon Barkley and D'Andre Swift are a bit more riskier of draft picks even after their ADP's dropped recently. Barkley is still going late in the first round on average and with his health still a big question mark with the start of the season less than a month away, it's hard justifying paying that first round price tag after he missed 14 games last season. Swift has been dealing with an injured Groin lately and now has Jamaal Williams sharing the carries with him in Detroit and the Lions will be playing from behind a lot this season meaning they will have to pass more. Moving over to the Quarterback spot, after gaining a shiny new toy in Julio Jones, Ryan Tannehill continues to be an eighth round pick and proved that he can stay healthy. He threw just seven interceptions last season and even rushed in seven scores himself.
