The Redskins and Vikings provided us with so much hope of what might be to come in Week 10.  Then the Giants, Packers, Colts, Bills, Panthers & 49ers destroyed all of our confidence.  Then a majestic white steed appeared out of nowhere and rescued us from oblivion.  That man was Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.  Of course this only works if you have Brees and didn’t play against him or his Saints brethren.  Either way it was another roller coaster of emotions this week as so many playoff lives were no doubt on the line.  Let’s take an inside look at every game this Sunday and look at how it all fell together (or apart) from a Fantasy perspective.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Russell Wilson

19-26, 287 yards, 2 TD’s

3-20 yards rushing

Matt Ryan

23-36, 172 yards, 1 TD

Marshawn Lynch

3-16 yards rec

Steven Jackson

9-11 yards rush

3-9 yards rec

Golden Tate

6-106 yards, 1 TD

Jacquizz Rogers

3-31 yards rush

5-28 yards rec

Doug Baldwin

7-49 yards

Jermaine Kearse

3-75 yards, 1 TD

Key Plays

Brandon Browner left game with a groin injury

Jermaine Kearse 43 yard TD reception

Tony McDaniel left game with a hamstring injury

Golden Tate 6 yard TD reception

Darius Johnson 12 yard TD reception

The Falcons offensive line is finished. This offense as a whole is sinking into oblivion with each passing week.

As solid as Golden Tate has been he will be unstartable once again next week when Percy Harvin returns.

Roddy White was a useless in this game as he has been for Fantasy owners all season long.

Steven Hauschka had field goals of 39, 43, 44 & 53 yards on the afternoon.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

Matt Stafford

18-35, 219 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT

Jay Cutler

21-40, 250 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Reggie Bush

14-105 yards rush

3-8 yards rec

Matt Forte

17-33 yards rush

4-16 yards rec

Joique Bell

10-41 yards rush

Brandon Marshall

7-139 yards, 2 TD’s

Calvin Johnson

6-83 yards, 2 TD’s

Alshon Jeffrey

9-114 yards

Kris Durham

1-5 yards, 1 TD

Earl Bennett

2-10 yards

Brandon Pettigrew

5-70 yards

Martellus Bennett

4-29 yards

Key Plays

Jay Cutler left game with an ankle injury

Brandon Marshall TD catches of 11 & 32 yards

Montel Owens left game with a knee injury

Calvin Johnson TD catches of 4 & 14 yards

Kris Durham 5 yard TD reception

The Bears completely controlled this game but 3 missed opportunities inside the redzone & missed 2 point

Conversion cost them the win. Josh McCown was 6-9, 62 yards in relief of Cutler & led Bears to a TD.

Alshon Jeffrey has proven that no matter who is the Bears QB he is a very solid WR2 in Fantasy this year.

The 219 yards passing were Stafford’s lowest of the season.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

Nick Foles

12-18, 228 yards, 3 TD’s

Scott Tolzien

24-39, 280 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

LeSean McCoy

25-155 yards

Eddie Lacy

24-73 yards

DeSean Jackson

4-80 yards, 1 TD

Jarrett Boykin

8-112 yards

Riley Cooper

3-102 yards, 2 TD’s

Jordy Nelson

6-56 yards

James Jones

4-44 yards

Brent Celek

DeSean Jackson 55 yard TD reception

Seneca Wallace left game with a groin injury

Brandon Bostic 22 yard TD reception

Casey Hayward left game with hamstring injury

Riley Cooper TD catches of 32 & 45 yards

There really wasn’t much of a drop off from Wallace to Tolzien after Wallace went out with a groin injury.

McCoy picked up most of his yards late in the game as the Eagles sat on a big lead.

It appears Boykin is Scott Tolzien’s preferred target further downgrading both Jordy Nelson & James Jones

Jackson’s 55 yard TD was on a terrible pass into double coverage that was tipped up & into D-Jax’s arms.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

Chad Henne

14-23, 180 yards, 2 INT

Ryan Fitzpatrick

22-33, 264 yards, 2 TD’s

3-13 yards, 1 TD rushing

Maurice Jones-Drew

21-41 yards, 1 TD rush

4-33 yards rec

Chris Johnson

12-30 yards rush

5-43 yards rec

Denard Robinson

4-3 yards

Shonn Greene

9-22 yards rush

3-10 yards rec

Cecil Shorts

2-42 yards

Kendall Wright

7-78 yards

Mike Brown

2-40 yards

Nate Washington

3-29 yards

Marcedes Lewis

3-39 yards

Delanie Walker

4-62 yards, 1 TD

Jake Locker left game with hip injury

Taylor Thompson 9 yard TD reception

Brian Schwenke left game with an ankle injury

Penalty on R. Fitzpatrick in endzone for Jaguars safety

Stephen Burton left game with a concussion

Will Blackmon 21 yard fumble recovery for TD

It is astonishing that the Jaguars won a game let alone one that they played pretty poorly.

Look for Justin Hunter to get more time in place of Nate Washington going forward for the Titans.

With Fitzpatrick at QB, Chris Johnson will have more catches he would with Jake Locker in there.

Jordan Todman vultured a TD from MJD in this game as he plunged in from the 5 yard line in the 3rd quarter.

St. Louis Rams at Indianapolis Colts

Kellen Clemens

9-16 247 2 TD 3-2 rushing

Chris Long 45 yard Fumble return for a TD

RB Daryl Richardson – inactive due to ankle injury

Zac Stacy fumbled a handoff inside the 10

Tavon Austin 98 yard RT TD and 57 & 81 TD catches

This had to be one of the worst performances of Luck Career even with offensive line struggles

Tavon Austin did manage to score 3 TD’s today but there is still no way in hell you ever start him

The running game in Indy is non-existent and the coaches are making a mistake with wanting a power game

TY Hilton should have scored a TD on his 67 yard catch but just tripped on his own

Oakland Raiders at New York Giants

Terrelle Pryor

11-26 122 INT 5-19 rushing TD

Eli Manning

12-22 140 TD INT

Rashad Jennings

20-88 rushing 2-19 receiving

3-37 receiving

Rod Streater

Key Plays

DE Jason Pierre Paul – Shoulder -returned

Jernigan fumbles opening kickoff leads to Pryor 1 yd TD

RB Darren McFadden - inactive

Rueben Randle 6 yard TD catch

Terry Porter 43 yard INT return for a TD

Teams have figured out what the Raiders are trying to do with Pryor and his true form is coming through

The Giants got another ugly win but really need to get Eli going as he struggled once again

It should be no one’s surprise but Andre Brown took control of the RB situation early on today

Victor Cruz was wide open for a touchdown late in the game but the Manning throw was awful

Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers

E.J. Manuel

22-39 155 TD INT 2-17 rushing

Ben Roethlisberger

18-30 204 TD INT

Fred Jackson

12-55 rushing 3-7 receiving

Antonio Brown

6-104 receiving

Stevie Johnson

3-48 receiving

Emmanuel Sanders

4-13 receiving

Chris Gragg

4-25 receiving TD

Jericho Cotchery

2-31 receiving

Scott Chandler

3-21 receiving

Heath Miller

1-6 receiving

Key Plays

CB Ike Taylor –head injury -returned

Jericho Cotchery 6 yard TD catch

WR Steve Johnson –groin injury

LeVeon Bell 3 yard TD run

WR Robert Woods – inactive ankle injury

Chris Gragg 2 yard TD catch –first of career

EJ Manuel was awful in his return from injury with consistently inaccurate throws

The Steelers tried to give Bell more rest throughout the game to keep him fresh

Sanders only finished with 13 yards receiving but despite that was still very involved in the offense

CJ Spiller is not listed on the injury report any more but not even close to the previous player he was.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

Torrey Smith

5-46 receiving TD

Marvin Jones

1-2 receiving

Ed Dickson

3-28 receiving

Tyler Eifert

3-55 receiving

Dallas Clark

1-1 receiving TD

Key Plays

TE Jermaine Gresham – inactive with groin injury

Dallas Clark 1 yard TD catch set-up by pass interfernce

DT Haloti Ngata – knee injury but returned

Torrey Smith 7 yard TD after an terrible Dalton INT

AJ Green 51 yard TD on Hail Mary to tie the game

Ray Rice is absolutely awful right now and the Ravens have no idea who to run the ball any more

Tyler Eifert saw a uptick in targets today but Dalton struggled all day.

AJ Green benefitted greatly thanks to a sloppy Hail Mary play by the Ravens to tie the game in the 4th

Bernard made a costly mistake in OT when he caught a short pass and lost 11 yards trying to circle back

Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers

Cam Newton

Steve Smith

Anquan Boldin

3-23 yards

Brandon LaFell

4-48 yards

Mario Manningham

3-30 yards

Greg Olsen

1-14 yards

Vernon Davis

1-2 yards

Key Plays

Vernon Davis left game with a concussion

DeAngelo Williams 27 yard TD run

Eric Reid left game with a concussion

Phil Dawson FG’s of 25, 43 & 52 yards

Garrett Celek left game with a hamstring injury

Graham Gano 53 yard FG

This was an awful game. The defenses played well but not this well. There were 11 dropped passed today.

Colin Kaepernick isn’t playing well enough to get the 49ers a playoff win let alone a Super Bowl win.

Cam Newton has got to be able to take a game like this over either with his arm or his legs. He didn’t today.

Mario Manningham is a solid WR3 going forward and can be the 49ers top WR over Anquan Boldin very soon.

Houston Texans at Arizona Cardinals

Case Keenum

22-43, 201 yards, 3 TD’s

Carson Palmer

20-32, 241 yards, 2 TD’s, 1 INT

Matt Shaughnessy 6 yard fumble return for TD

Kareem Jackson left game with a rib injury

Rob Housler 12 yard TD reception

Ryan Griffin left game with a concussion

Andre Johnson TD catches of 5 & 7 yards

Carson Palmer is the only QB in the last 11 years to have thrown an INT in his teams first 9 games.

Arian Foster is out for the year. Ben Tate and Dennis Johnson must be owned in all leagues at this point.

It’s sad how little Larry Fitzgerald is being used these days. A Hall Of Fame WR getting 6 targets is ridiculous.

Case Keenum completed 9 of 10 passes for 80 yards on play action passes tonight.

Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers

Peyton Manning

25-36, 330 yards, 4 TD’s

Phillip Rivers

19-29, 218 yards, 1 TD
