We've got a doozie of a slate tonight across MLB. No, there's no Coors Field going this evening but there are good hitting ballparks such as Rogers Center, Globe Life and Yankee Stadium. We have Alex Rodriguez listed at just $696 on FanDuel trying to tempt us into taking a bite of the forbidden fruit. But most importantly, we have weather and an awful lot of it.

If you are playing any contests that include the Cardinals/Cubs game you really shouldn't bother because that game is very unlikely to be played. Elsewhere, the entire northeast is under thunderstorm warnings for most of Friday afternoon and evening. The Diamondbacks/Red Sox game has a 50% chance of thunderstorms throughout the game. The Angels/Indians have a 40% chance at storms throughout the scheduled game time. In New York both the Padres/Met and Rays/Yankees game are in danger with 40% chance of storms throughout the evening at both parks.

With all of this rain, you absolutely must pay close attention to the movement of these storms and when they will be over the ballparks in question. We will be keeping you updated on the current conditions on our lineups page. We will also be updating the game conditions with messages on our FAN Forums throghout the afternoon.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Friday August 12th:
