Only nine games on today's slate and outside of Jose Fernandez there are absolutely no worthy pitchers at all. Not that we should care about starting pitchers anymore. It seems as though every night the most random pitchers wind up posting the best returns of the slate. This trend is exactly why cash game strategy just isn't working out well over the last few weeks. The way to build lineups right now is to build around the absolute best hitters and then just fit in whatever arms fit within your open salary.

I am going to pull some real crazy shit tonight as I focus on just GPP lineups. As much as I love Fernandez, the Giants just don't strikeout and always seem to scrap together enough runs to chase the starting pitcher early. I will have a lineup on two pitcher sites that has Fernandez, but my second pitcher is going to be one of the low end hurlers of the evening. The teams that we need to be invested in for hitting are the Blue Jays, Braves, Astros, Twins, Cardinals, Rangers, Rockies and Dodgers.

There are no weather concerns at all tonight as most games actually take place in indoor or retractable roof stadiums.
