24 – Cleveland at Cincinnati – 3

I have no explanation on what has happened to the Bengals team we saw the first three weeks of this season. Andy Dalton isn’t a big game QB but he certainly should be able to get them through games like this. #Fail

As nervous as I will be starting either A.J. Green or Mohamed Sanu next week, I do expect both to be fine. Green is the main guy again though so expectations on Sanu should be checked going forward.

Since 1966, only three other QB’s have attempted 33 or more pass attempts and thrown for 86 yards or less as Andy Dalton did today.

The Browns used all three RB’s fluently tonight. Ben Tate, Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West all got into the endzone which was huge for everyone who took a risk on any of them this week.

The Browns RB’s picked up 75 yards rushing after contact tonight. That is a very impressive performance from a group that had just 41 yards after contact combined in their last three games.

Injuries: RB Giovani Bernard (inactive), WR Andrew Hawkins (inactive)

17 – Kansas City at Buffalo – 13

This was a game of similar teams with very good defenses. Both Alex Smith and Kyle Orton are game managers however and it showed today.

The turning point of this one was when Bryce Brown was about to score a two yard touchdown when he fumbled the ball into the endzone for a touchback. Brown played a much bigger role today than he did two weeks ago but this fumble was probably the end of his 2014 fantasy value.

The Bills lost three fumbles in this game.

The Chiefs still don’t have a TD reception by any WR this season. Dwayne Bowe did grab 8-93 today but still is without a TD this year.

Travis Kelce had just two targets today proving yet again that he is a very risky weekly starter in fantasy football.

Injuries: No injuries reported

16 – Miami at Detroit – 20

The presence of Calvin Johnson is so big for the Lions offense. Golden Tate had just 3-26 going into the fourth quarter but erupted in crunch time while exploiting single coverage to bring the Lions offense downfield.

Theo Riddick caught the game winning 11 yard TD on a third down play. It speaks volumes that the coaching staff trusted Riddick enough to have him in there with the game on the line. With Reggie Bush banged up and Joique Bell limited, Riddick could wind up seeing quite a bit of time going forward.

Matt Prater had a field goal blocked and returned to the Lions two yard line. This led to Mike Wallace’s TD reception. The Lions are 11-21 on field goals this year which is 52% accuracy. No other team in the NFL is below 68% on field goal accuracy this season.

Lamar Miller didn’t look bad at the start of this game but was removed somewhere in the second quarter never to return. The Dolphins play on Thursday next week which makes Miller’s availability very, very murky.

Ryan Tannehill was very hesitant to run the ball himself today. This is a problem with relying so heavily on the zone read offense, which had been the Dolphins calling card over the last five weeks.

Injuries: LT Brandon Albert (knee), RB Lamar Miller (shoulder), RB Reggie Bush (ankle), RG Larry Warford (knee)

31 – Dallas at Jacksonville – 17 (London)

The Cowboys took an unnecessary risk with Tony Romo today. It’s understandable to start him but once they were up 24-7 at halftime or even 31-7 early in the third quarter, he should have been removed.

Dez Bryant had 6-158-2 at halftime of this game. That is also the total he finished with as Dez didn’t catch another ball after his 68 yard TD catch.

DeMarco Murray could have had a much bigger day. He was not given a carry from the two yard line in the first quarter. That TD pass went to Jason Witten on third down. Then later in the game Murray had a uniform issue that made him tap out right before Joseph Randle ran free and clear for a 40 yard TD.

You all are going to continue to love Denard Robinson after his two TD’s today but I will not be a part of this. I haven’t been this unimpressed with a productive RB since Shonn Greene with the Jets.

The Jaguars lost Cecil Shorts and Allen Hurns with injuries today.

Injuries: WR Allen Hurns (concussion), WR Cecil Shorts (head), CB Peyton Thompson (ribs), CB Tyler Patmon (ankle/knee)

27 – San Francisco at New Orleans – 24 (OT)

This was the third loss by the Saints of three points or fewer, easily the most in the NFL.

Jimmy Graham had a 47 yard TD catch as time expired to give the Saints the victory. The play was nullified however, due to a penalty on Graham for offensive pass interference on the hail mary pass.

I say this every week but as good as Mark Ingram has been, he will go back to a three way split once Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson return.

The 49ers once again found the run game and once again got themselves a win. They ran a combined 32-144-2 on the day. Frank Gore is not done being a fantasy contributor this season folks.

Anquan Boldin did so well today but did make some mistakes as well. Boldin dropped a ridiculous four passes today which matches his entire 2013 season in drops.

Injuries: NT Ian Williams (ankle), CB Keenan Lewis (quad/knee)

7 – Tennessee at Baltimore – 21

Easily the most boring of the Sunday slate of games. I watched every second of this game and feel like it sucked my life force away.

Justin Forsett was the star of this one. The Ravens wound up relying heavily on him today mostly after Bernard Pierce whiffed on a block that nearly got Joe Flacco killed.

If you take away week eight against the Bengals, Torrey Smith has 25 targets, 16 receptions, 270 yards and 5 TD’s in his past four games.

The Titans lost this game early. They took out Bishop Sankey, who was running well, in favor of Shonn Green at the one yard line. Greene instantly coughed up the football and the Ravens recovered. The Titans scored on their next drive but wouldn’t come close again after that.

Justin Hunter did have a 33 yard catch called back for offensive pass interference. He also caught another pass for about 15 yards that was ruled out of bounds. Officially he finished with just one catch for 17 yards on the day.

Injuries: TE Delanie Walker (concussion), WR Dexter McCluster (knee)

13 – Pittsburgh at N.Y. Jets – 20

This is why you cannot count on 11 year veterans suddenly hitting their prime. Ben Roethlisberger gave up all of the fantasy love he had received coming into this game by destroying so many who believed in him and this matchup.

Martavis Bryant did not play a good game today. He dropped passes, missed blocks and ran terrible routes throughout the game. But, those who don’t watch the games and solely read the boxscore will cite Bryant’s 4-143-1 today and say he did great. Those people are idiots.

Le’Veon Bell will wind up as a top 5-7 RB this season but his consistency or lack thereof will kill many fantasy teams come playoff time.

Michael Vick was nothing special today. He had half of his passing yards on one play in which two Steelers DB’s ran into each other and resulted in a 67 yard TD to T.J. Graham.

I know that many of you are disappointed with Antonio Brown after this performance. But let’s be real here for a minute. Brown had 8-74 yards and this was the first game this season in which he has had under 80 yards receiving. He is still the best fantasy WR in the galaxy.

I don’t know how but Shaun Suisham missed a 23 yard FG late in this game.

Injuries: No Injuries Reported

27 – Atlanta at Tampa Bay – 17

Josh McCown not only threw for over 300 yards today (301) but he was also the Buccaneers leading rusher. McCown ran 5-39 on the day.

It is obvious that the Buccaneers are working without an offensive coordinator. Lovie Smith has no clue on what he wants to do offensively and this until is completely lost.

Mike Evans has been one of the most consistent fantasy WR’s in the NFL right now. Another 7-125-1 today is the proof that he belongs in the top 20 of fantasy WR’s the rest of this season.

Julio jones and Roddy White accumulated for 14 of 20 completions, 191 of 219 yards and the only TD reception the Falcons got today.

Don’t even think about starting Steven Jackson next week or pretty much ever. He did alright against the terrible Buccaneers defense today but he is so incredibly over that it is not even funny.

Injuries: WR Devin Hester (ankle)

41 – Denver at Oakland – 17

Julius Thomas tied Randy Moss’ record for most TD catches after nine games with 12. He is the first TE ever to have back to back 12+ TD seasons.

Ronnie Hillman played most of the first quarter but was pretty much on the sidelines after that. C.J. Anderson made a great catch and run on what turned into a 51 yard TD and got the majority of the touches after that.

The Broncos have scored at least 20 points in 30 straight games which is the NFL record.

Peyton Manning is on pace to throw 51 TD’s this season which would be only the third time in NFL history a QB threw for 50+ TD’s.

Mychal Rivera is an important piece of the Raiders offense. Tony Sparano has been a big advocate for using the TE since he replaced Dennis Allen as head coach four weeks ago.

Injuries: CB D.J. Hayden (groin), RT Menelik Watson (head), RB Ronnie Hillman (foot)

14 – St. Louis at Arizona – 31

The news of this game is obviously Carson Palmer tearing his ACL late and being lost for the season. Palmer tore his ACL & MCL in 2005 just 10 days after he signed $118 million deal with the Bengals. Palmer signed a $50 million extension with the Cardinals just three days ago.

I would put Drew Stanton behind Mark Sanchez and ahead of guys like Michael Vick, Josh McCown and Kyle Orton on the newly anointed QB depth chart.

Michael Floyd is in the team photo of most disappointing fantasy players of 2014.

Tre Mason left this game for a few series with a lower leg injury. Monitor his status during the week to see what his availability is for week 11.

All four of Austin Davis’ pick six’s have come in the fourth quarter of the ballgame.

Before Austin Davis melted down in the fourth quarter, the Rams were very competitive today. Their defense is picking up steam and will be a tough opponent down the stretch this season.

Injuries: QB Carson Palmer (knee), S LaMarcus Joyner (groin)

17 - N.Y. Giants at Seattle – 38

This game was played in a driving rain for most of the second half.

The difference in the Seattle offense when Russell Wilson is running and when he isn’t is night and day. Wilson ran for 107 yards on 14 carries today and it led to the Seahawks running up 38 points against the Giants today.

The Seahawks rushed for 45-350-5 today which are franchise records for both records and TD’s.

Odell Beckham is the only Giants WR worth owning. Despite the teams struggles he is always fighting and scrapping to more the chains which as a fantasy owner I respect.

Coming into this game Eli Manning had gone 176 pass attempts without an interception.

I hope by now it is clear to everybody that Andre Williams is not a franchise running back. It’s obviously not all on him as the Giants offensive line is terrible but Williams is just not elusive, powerful or aware as an All-Pro RB should be.

Injuries: RB Peyton Hillis (concussion), RB Michael Cox (leg), TE Luke Wilson (ankle), DT Brandon Mebane (hamstring)

14 – Chicago at Green Bay – 55

Aaron Rodgers tied an NFL record by tossing 6 TD’s in the first half alone. The Packers also tied a record for points scored at Lambeau Field with 55.

If Davante Adams cannot have more than 1-10 on a night where the Packers offense scores 55 points, then he is not a player you can trust at any level of fantasy.

Despite the fact that the Bears are reeling as a team right now, Jay Cutler’s fantasy value shouldn’t drop that far after tonight. Cutler came into the game as the 9th best fantasy QB this season and quite frankly there aren’t many behind him that are worth a damn.

If Brandon Marshall misses any time, Santonio Holmes would be the guy to target on the waiver wire. Also, don’t forget about Marques Wilson who is due to be activated from the IR/designated to return list soon.

Injuries: WR Brandon Marshall (ankle)
