Tonight’s Strategy
I managed to cash all six of my GPPs on FanDuel last night along with all three of mine at DraftKings. Yahoo, well, it was a complete bust. I completely forgot I played on the site and had Mike Conley in both of my lineups.
Tonight is going to be a bit crazy near lineup lock as there is possible value sitting all over the board with so many game-time decisions for players.
As always, all fantasy ppg numbers are FanDuel specific.
With a busy Wednesday upon me, I bring you today’s Position Coach Article.
Point Guard
John Wall gets a favorable match-up tonight facing a Pacers team which allows the 10th most fantasy ppg to the one, and is overdue for a 50-fantasy point game.
My favorite play tonight is Stephen Curry facing Toronto in the game with the current highest expected point total of the evening at 225.5. He also dropped 48.1 fantasy points in their last match-up on FanDuel.
The Nets are allowing the second most fantasy ppg to the one this season and Rajon Rondo has a reduced price due to a few recent stinkers. The fact is, he has 40-fantasy point upside at the 25-fantasy point price.
Ty Lawson is averaging over 27 fantasy ppg over his last four, for the low price of $4,700 on FD.
Both Patty Mills and Raymond Felton are great match-ups tonight for value in GPPs, Mills I find a bit safer with Chris Paul a GTD.

Shooting Guard
If Giannis Antetokounmpo starts in the one tonight versus Detroit, he finds himself in the best defensive match-up on the team with the Pistons allowing the eighth most fantasy ppg to the one.
If the “Greek God” does not start in the one, DeMar DeRozan for the price, is the top play at the two tonight. In his last meeting versus Golden State he scored 44.2 fantasy points on FanDuel and makes a great second late bullet with Curry.
With Damian Lillard a GTD the man of the hour becomes C.J. McCollum facing a Kings team allowing the eighth most fantasy ppg to the two.
If Lillard plays, Dwayne Wade who has scored more-than 38 fantasy ppg in two straight, facing a Nets team allowing second most fantasy ppg to the two, moves up a spot.
If you are looking for cheaper plays, Wil Barton, Jamal Crawford, and Brandon Knight all find themselves in favorable positions tonight to exceed value, and honestly in my main lineup, I am pairing Crawford with Barton.

Small Forward
Kawhi Leonard who I never used last season has become a staple for me this one. The Suns are allowing the seventh most fantasy ppg to the three while Leonard is averaging over 45 fantasy ppg in his last three.
With the Nets allowing the most fantasy ppg to the three, Jimmy Butler is a viable play tonight, the problem is, pretty much the whole Bulls team is.
Carmelo Anthony lit up the Hawks in their last meeting scoring nearly 45 fantasy points on FD and is a strong play tonight at his price-point.
Marcus Morris tonight has a great match-up with the Bucks allowing the fourth most fantasy ppg to the three while being one of the few players at $4,400 on FD who can put up a 30-spot.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has scored over 30-fantasy points in back-to-back games for the low price of $4,700 on FD, seems like a deal.
Although a tough decision, I can get behind either Kent Bazemore, or Thabo Sefolosha in a punt play situation. Their price point remains low, and for the most part, both are stable producers who can give you a 30-spot on a good night.

Power Forward
Anthony Davis is in basically the same situation as Russell Westbrook. He is the Pelicans main source of offense and can drop a 70-spot on any given night. Until this changes, neither does is his “must play” status regardless of match-up. (Funny, I kept this the same from my last article.)
Paul Millsap tonight, if starting in the five again, is facing a Knicks team allowing the second most fantasy ppg to the position. He gives you 50-fantasy point upside for under $8,000. Sign me up.
LaMarcus Aldridge is facing a Phoenix team allowing the sixth most fantasy ppg to the four while averaging over 45 fantasy ppg in his last two. His price-point is nice across the industry in this one.
The last time Markieff Morris faced Indiana it did not go so well. I look for him to bounce-back versus a Pacers team allowing the fifth most fantasy ppg to the four.
I am also getting a little exposure to Jon Leuer tonight with one of the better match-ups for the Pistons. He is gives you that 30-fantasy point upside for peanuts.
Yes, of course Taj Gibson is play in a great match-up facing a Nets team allowing the second most fantasy ppg to the four. My exposure will be minimal though.

Center
DeMarcus Cousins drops 70-spots, he is also starting in the four to a Portland team that allows the most fantasy ppg to the position. No brainer here, it’s boogie time!
The Clippers are looking pretty banged up right now with no Blake Griffin. At some point, I expect a major uptick in DeAndre Jordan’s fantasy production and will continue to use him until it happens. Tick-tock!
Cody Zeller is facing an Orlando team allowing the fifth most fantasy ppg to the center position while on the flipside, Bismack Biyombo is facing a Charlotte team allowing the sixth most fantasy ppg to the position. Both are cheap across the industry, take advantage in boom or bust GPPs.
