There were nine games on tonight's MLB main slate, but lets focus on two players that in the late games in great spots. Ones a hitter that feasts on left-handed pitching and the other is making his second start of the year. It's fantasy baseball season, baby!

Alex Bregman OVER 1.5 total bases

Maybe it’s time we start talking about Alex Bregman’s wrist being 100% because he's looked damn good at the plate to start the year. Through four games he’s hitting .429 and has already belted two home runs as well. Now, he gets to face off against a left-handed pitcher in Madison Bumgarner and lefties have been Bregman’s bread and butter throughout his career.

For Bregman’s career, he has notched a .317 AVG, .402 OBP, .572 SLG%, and a .405 wOBA against southpaws. On the flipside, Madison Bumgarner has really been snakebit by righty power the past two seasons. He allowed 17 home runs and a .454 SLG% in 2021 and 11 HR – in 31 innings – and a .618 SLG% in ‘20.

Bregman might get the over in the first inning.

Yu Darvish OVER 90.5 pitches

I mean, this feels like a lock. In his first start of the year, Darvish threw 92 pitches. This game has the lowest total on the board and he’s not going to be lifted for a pitch hitter if this game is close late thanks to the universal DH. The only scenario that he doesn’t hit the over is because he’s been shelled, but the Giants are not exactly hot at the plate, ranking 19th in OPS thus far.

BONUS PLAY(S);

  • Norman Powell o15.5 points (NBA)
  • Ivica Zubac o20.5 points+rebounds+assists (NBA)
