SP | Odrisamer Despaigne | KTW | S. Park (R) | $8,300 |
It takes a short memory to play DFS, especially after Despaigne's implosion last time out. But, he gets a Lotte offense which gives up quality starts like candy at Halloween and boasts a lineup projecting seven right-handed hitters. Despaigne owns a .224 batting average against versus RHH this year with 21 strikeouts against two walks. His now bloated ERA (3.89) should migrate towards his FIP (3.28) and Despaigne's 16.1 K-BB% plays well on this slate.
SP | Seung Won Moon | SK | D. Buchanon (R) | $8,100 |
Which pitcher possesses the best K-BB% on Sunday, it's not Moon but he's second with a 17.5 percentage. He surged his last time out recording eight strikeouts and many will be wary of his 5.06 ERA through 26.2 innings. But, Moon's 3.93 FIP provides hope and his opponent Samsung brings an 18.8 strikeout percentage into the match-up along with a .323 team OBP and .384 team slugging. Moon's actually the underdog in Vegas in the game with the lowest total on the slate.
SP | David Buchanon | SAM | S. Moon (R) | $7,100 |
Possibly a perfect SP2 in GPP's with Samsung a slight favorite on the road. Buchanon's been all or nothing this year with a 4.50 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 32 innings with a 19:8 K:BB. He's tough on right-handed hitters which helps in the match-up with SK's top two bats being right handed (Romak, Choi). Add in the game being the lowest total and use Buchanon with discretion but he could get the quality start bonus with an outside chance of a win with four-to-six strikeouts.
SP | Jae Hak Lee | NDC | E. Kim (R) | $8,800 |
Not a fan of this price point but Lee's team enters this game as -265 favorites along with the day's highest run total (11.5 runs). Lee's 2-1 with two quality starts in five games this year but Hanwha's offense continues to scuffle in the midst of a 13-game losing streak. I really do not see any ceiling at this price but if mining a win, Lee could get it but the peripheral stats will not be pretty if he pitches to his 4.60 FIP and 1.54 WHIP so far. |

Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. |
C | Dong Won Park | KIW | W. Cha (L) | $4,300 |
Loving Park on this slate starts with his four hits in 11 at-bats this year against LHP with three home runs. Then seeing he's slashing .438/.486/.812 with three home runs and 15 RBI his last 10 contests makes him even more alluring. Pay for the first name and profit if he goes yard for Kiwoom.
C | Kang Nam Yoo | LG | H. Han (R) | $3,300 |
After a slow start to the season, Yoo is turning it on offensive slashing .424/.441/.778 with three homers and 10 RBI over his last 10 games. Han gives up a .329 average against left-handed hitters and allowed eight earned runs in 11 innings at home.
1B | Roberto Ramos | LG | H. Han (R) | $4,200 |
What does he have to do in order to be priced like the other top hitters in the league? He’s still only 4.2K! Ramos went hitless one night after two home runs but owns a .359 average versus RHP with a home run every seven at-bats (nine home runs in 64 AB). Plus, Ramos hits .467 on the road with nine of his league leading 12 home runs away from LG's park. Lock him in.
1B | Byung Ho Park | KIW | W. Cha (L) | $4,800 |
If looking for variance or running a Kiwoom stack, Park crushes LHP to the tune of a .308 average with a double and home run in only 13 at-bats against them this year. Park's a boom or bust play but a perfect pivot in GPP's for the risk averse.
1B/2B | Jose Fernandez | DOO | K. Im (R) | $6,500 |
I'm not going to tell you to fade Fernandez in this match-up since the Doosan left-handed bats should benefit from Im's .353 batting average yielded against them but at this price, he's a fade for me compared to Ramos.
1B/2B | Joo Hwan Choi | DOO | K. Im (R) | $2,200 |
A cheap pivot GPP dart thrwo, Choi owns power with six home runs in 27 games this year but also struggles making consistent contact evidenced in his .250/.289/.444 slash his last 10 games with two home runs and six RBI in two games along with five hitless contests. Invest with eyes wide open.
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. |
2B | Min Woo Park | NCD | E. Kim (R) | $4,800 |
With the Dinos offense just flexing its muscle the last two games in Hanwha, getting the leadoff hitter makes sense. Park's hitting .369 versus right-handed pitching with seven doubles, a triple and eight RBI over 65 at-bats.
2B | Kyung Soo Park | KTW | S. Park (R) | $3,800 |
Park's a reverse splits guy hitting .333 versus RHP with three home runs among his 17 hits spanning 51 at-bats. He's also drawn nine walks against them and enters this game with a .313 average, four home runs and a .908 OPS.
2B/SS | Jin Hyuk No | NCD | E. Kim (R) | $3,600 |
Looking for an upside play in the middle infield, seek no further than No. He's hitting .361 against RHP, six-for-his-last-15 (.400) with two doubles, two home runs and five RBI his last five games. Plus he's a streaky hitter with depressed price. Giddy up.
SS | Ha Seong Kim | KIW | W. Cha (L) | $5,900 |
Southpaw Cha yields a .400 average to right-handed hitters with only four strikeouts against four walks this year. Kim's on a seven-game hit streak with a .414 (12-for-29) average, 10 runs, two doubles, two home runs and 10 RBI in it. Pretty, pretty good.
3B | Byung Woo Jeon | KIW | W. Cha (L) | $2,000 |
A minimum priced batter on the rise of late, Jeon's slashing .303/.361/.455 through his first 36 plate appearances this year. If Kiwoom wins its sixth straight, Jeon may be a part of it. Sneaky pop at a low price.
3B | Sang Chul Moon | KTW | S. Park (R) | $2,500 |
Another potential cheap dart throw in GPP's. Moon's been playing first base but at third on DK. He also moved to second in the lineup over the weekend. He's hit safely in five of his last seven with multiple hits in four plus two doubles, two home runs and six RBI in them. Not too shabby.
1B/OF | Jin Sung Kang | NCD | E. Kim (R) | $3,900 |
While some player's price points get sky high, Kang remains reasonable despite homering in back-to-back games and leading the KBO in each slash category: .459/.517/.838 over 88 plate appearances. He's played in 25 games with 25 RBI and seven home runs. As a sweetener, Kang's hitting .512 versus RHP with six doubles, three home runs and 15 RBI. Yes please. Due to strong options at first base, using Kang in the outfield tonight for value.
OF | Mel Rojas Jr. | KTW | S. Park (R) | $6,700 |
So, Rojas Jr. struggled on Saturday but carries a .377 average against RHP. He's also been on a power tear hitting five home runs his last seven contests. Of course, at this price he needs to hit a home run to make it worth the investment.
OF | Sung Bum Na | NCD | E. Kim (R) | $5,700 |
Remember when Na's price sat in the low 4's, me too. But those days remain behind us with Na's talent rising to the surface. Over his last 10 games, Na's hitting .410/.489/.974 with six home runs and 12 RBI. Mercy.
OF | Aaron Altherr | NCD | E. Kim (R) | $4,700 |
Never thought I'd say this but I actually prefer Altherr at this price to his teamate Na. Altherr's five for his last 13 (.385) with a double, two home runs and six RBI. Plus, on the road his average improves to .283 with five home runs in 53 at-bats.
OF | Hyun Soo Kim | LG | H. Han (R) | $5,100 |
Kim's hitting a cool .411 versus RHP with eight doubles, one home runs, six walks and only two strikeouts. He's an elite contact hitter against a pitcher giving up a .329 average versus LHH.
OF | Jin Hoo Lee | KIW | W. Cha (L) | $5,000 |
Lee's coming off a two hit game including his fifth home run. If Kiwoom gets to the LG bullpen early, he can still rack up points. Plus, Cha holds LHH to a .222 average but also yielded three doubles and three home runs when allowing contact. |

Team Stacks | |||||
1 | NCD | Dinos | Opp. Pitcher | Ee Whan Kim
Stack | Min Woo Park | Sung Bum Na | Jin Sung Kang | Jin Hyuk No | Aaron Altherr |
It's unfair stacking Dinos but they lead the KBO in home runs and get a pitcher with a 6.00 ERA, 6.82 FIP and 1.76 WHIP. Plus, Km's served up all four home runs he's allowed this season over 12.2 innings in home contests. Did I mention this game carries an 11.5 run over/under?
2 | LG | Twins | Opp. Pitcher | Hyun Hee Han
Mini-Stack | Hyun Soo Kim | Eun Sung Chae | Roberto Ramos
Kiwoom's Han enters this game with a 5.60 ERA and 1.65 WHIP, he allows both sides of the plate to hit over .300 and yielded eight earned runs in 11 innings at home this year.
3 | KIW | Heroes | Opp. Pitcher | Woo Chan Cha
Mini-Stack | Ha Seong Kim | Dong Won Park | Byung Woo Jeon
Like LG above, a three player stack of RHH versus Cha who gives up a .315 average against them with four doubles and two home runs so far in 2020. Kiwoom's trying to extend its win streak to six and this game comes with a total of 11. |
