Hitters |
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. |
C | Dong Won Park | KIW | J. Seo (R) | $4,200 |
Park carries a .346/.382/.673 slash into Sunday's contest. He's launched four home runs and five doubles making half of his hits (18) result in extra-bases. If Park's in the lineup, he makes for a terrific target at catcher on Sunday. |
C | Min Ho Kang | SAM | Y. Lee (R) | $3,500 |
Kang's homered in two of his last three starts and if he plays on Sunday could provide salary relief in DFS builds. Kang's facing a Doosan pitcher with a 1.76 WHIP and .279 batting average against in 2020. Add in Samsung's park being a launching pad (seven home runs on Saturday) and this game could easily hit the over. |
C | Tae Goon Kim | NCD | S. Jang (R) | $2,000 |
Looking for a minimum salary stat stuffer? Eui Ji Yang left Saturday's game early after straining his neck on a tag play at the plate. It makes sense for the Dinos to give their star a day off plus Monday for extra rest. If Kim gets the start, he's only logged 13 plate appearances this year but owns a .333 batting average with a 1.017 OPS. |
1B/2B | Jose Miguel Fernandez | DOO | D. Buchanon (R) | $6,000 |
Just another multiple hit game for Fernandez on Saturday (11th time in 16 contests) going 4-for-5 with his fourth home run. Samsung's trotting out Buchanon (7.50 ERA) with a tired bullpen working 14.2 of 18 inings so far in this series. Although Fernandez will be chalk, his .500/.532/.779 slash cannot be ignored. |
1B/2B | Joo Hwan Choi | DOO | D. Buchanon | $2,300 |
Looking for a cheaper alternative and still get a part of the torrid Doosan offense, Choi blasted his fourth home run on Saturday among his two hits and provides much needed salary relief with upside on this slate. |
1B | Byung Ho Park | KIW | J. Seo (R) | $5,100 |
Chasing yesterday's numbers never makes sense in DFS. However, Park could be on the precipice of a heater crushing two home runs in a lopsided win for the surging Heroes offense. With only four home runs this year, keep in mind Park led the KBO with 33 last season using a de-juiced baseball. He's facing a pitcher allowing a .323 batting average against and already served up four home runs over his first 15 innings this year. Yahtzee. |
1B/2B | Keon Chang Seo | KIW | J. Seo (R) | $2,300 |
Once again, if trying to save money Seo makes sense hitting atop the Kiwoom batting order riding a 12 game hit streak raising his average to .308 on the year. Seo's with two home runs and four stolen bases through his first 17 games. |
2B | Min Woo Park | NCD | S. Jang (R) | $4,400 |
Riding an eight-game hit streak, Park racked up two more hits on Saturday along with stealing his second base. Park nursed a leg injury earlier in the week so perhaps the steal signals a return to health. Ranking third in the KBO in hits, Park's slashing a 379/.438/.530 through 73 plate appearances. |
2B | Jae Won Oh | DOO | D. Buchanon (R) | $2,100 |
Talk about a bargain, Oh went yabbo on Saturday hitting a grand slam. He's cranked out three home runs this year, gone five for his last 12 (.417) with four runs, a double, a home run, six RBI and two walks his last three contests. |
Pos | Player | Team | Opp. Pitcher | DK Sal. |
SS | Ha Seong Kim | KIW | J. Seo (R) | $5,100 |
Disregard the price, Kim's on fire and worthy of use in all formats. Over his last five starts, Kim's 11-for-19 (.579) with 10 runs, four doubles, two home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base. He's yet to record a combo meal (HR/SB) in the same game in 2020 but Sunday could provide his first. Hitting second in the Kiwoom lineup, Kim should provide dividends upon investment. |
SS | Jae Ho Kim | DOO | D. Buchanon (R) | $2,500 |
Kim received Saturday off, so to quote James Grande from yesterday: Kim's slashing .400/.468/.473 riding a 14-game hit streak with seven of them resulting in multiple hit contests. He has a little pop and a little speed so if needing salary relief, Kim makes for an intriguing zig off the beaten path. |
3B | Kyoung Min Hur | DOO | D. Buchanon (R) | $2,700 |
Hur's not much on power, but hitting .302 and batted fifth on Saturday. With this game being the highest total on the slate, getting cheap pieces in stacks or mini-stacks makes sense. |
2B/3B | Jin Hyuk No | NCD | S. Jang (R) | $3,200 |
A hot and cold player, No could be a sneaky play in a Dinos mini-stack. Currently hitting .298/.375/.439 slash with two home runs and 10 RBI. |
OF | Jung Hoo Lee | KIW | J. Seo (R) | $4,500 |
Lee launched his fourth home run and finished with four RBI on Saturday. Facing another favorable match-up on Sunday, Lee brings his robust .381/.446/.714 slash into Lotte versus a pitcher yielding four home runs over his first 15 innings along with a .323 batting average against. |
OF | Sung Bum Na | NCD | M. Kim (R) | $4,800 |
Na has been extremely unlucky this year, yet has four bombs and a .835 OPS. The 27% K-rate is concerning, but Na is too good and has too much pop to continue to struggle at the dish. Expect big things in this match-up. |
OF | Mel Rojas Jr. | KTW | C. Lim (R) | $6,100 |
Homered from each side of the plate on Saturday in consecutive at-bats. Rojas Jr. ranks second in the KBO in average (.455), OBP (.493) and hits (30). Pretty, pretty good even if LG sends a very good arm to the mound. |
OF | Dong Yeop Kim | SAM | Y. Lee (R) | $2,900 |
Trying to outline players in every price point, Kim hit two home runs on Saturday and faces a Doosan pitcher with a 4.72 FIP and 1.76 WHIP on Saturday. Doosan may win, but the Lions will score runs. Why not target their cleanup bat due for more positive migration to the mean. |
OF/1B | Jae Hwan Kim | DOO | D. Buchanon (R) | $5,600 |
Possibly the only hitter without a hit on Saturday for Doosan without a dinger, or at least it feels that way. Kim enters Sunday with a .400 average and .933 OPS while batting fourth in a potent lineup poised to score more runs in bunches on Sunday. |
