Who's Hot

Giancarlo Stanton , New York Yankees - On a white hot stretch right now, Stanton's riding a 12-game hit streak during which he's launched six home runs with a robust 1.413 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS). Of his 78 batted ball events this season he's recorded 52 hard hits (exit velocity of 95 MPH+) with 14 barrels (17.9 percent) and an average exit velocity of 100.7 on his line drives plus fly ball events. Pretty, pretty good. 

Kris Bryant , Chicago Cubs - Each of his last eight hits resulted in extra-bases. Bryant's fifth in the majors in slugging percentage (.673), OPS (1.068) and third in total bases (72). He's hit safely in 14 of his last 17 contests with 16 runs, eight doubles, six home runs, 16 RBI, a .364/.440/.758 slash, a .394 isolated power and 216 weighted runs created plus (wRC+). 

Xander Bogaerts , Boston Red Sox - Leads the majors in hits (42) and tied for third in doubles (10) but leads the American League in them. He's launched six home runs over his last 15 games. Bogaerts leads all shortstop in the following categories: average (.356), on-base percentage (.402), slugging (.593), OPS (.995), doubles, hits and extra-base hits (16). 

Who's Not

Ty France , Seattle Mariners - Part of the slumping Mariners offense, over his last 25 plate appearances he's hitless with two runs, a strikeout percentage of 32 and a -31 wrC+. After a strong start, France may prove streaky over the course of the season. Track his rebound closely. 

Francisco Lindor , New York Mets - It's got to get better, right? There's a reason Glenn Colton and Rick Wolf avoid guys on big contracts their first season with a new team and Lindor may be the poster player right now. He's hitting a paltry .043/.241/.043 through his last six contests spanning 29 plate appearances with three runs scored. Good news, his walk rate matches his strikeout rate so some positive migration to the mean may be in the offing. 

Freddie Freeman , Atlanta Braves - Not only scuffling at the plate, Freeman received Thursday off to clear his head. He owns a 31.8 strikeout rate his last 22 plate appearances with a .050/.136/.050 line and a negative 76 wRC+ coming off an MVP season. He started slowly last year as well so this may be the time to kick the tires and buy low in your league.

Freddie Freeman , Atlanta Braves - Segue alert, as the business side of things calls it, here's why one may wish to get in on the ground floor of Freeman moving forward: 

• .202 batting average vs. .298 expected batting average (xBA) - plus 89 points

• .422 slugging percentage vs. .606 expected slugging (xSLG) - plus 184 points

• .322 weighted on-base average (wOBA) vs. .399 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) - plus 77 points

Hunter Dozier , Kansas City - His rebound has already started but there's still a chance to target him in trade talks in leagues:
