Daily Fantasy Golf is back for the 2020 season and I could not be more excited.  We actually never really left because of the PGA Tour's wrap around schedule but it was a nice holiday break before getting back into the grind.

We start with the Sentry Tournament of Champions played on the Hawaiian Island of Maui on the Plantation course at the Kapalua resort.  The only players invited to play in this event are winners from the past season on the PGA Tour.  Besides taking home a nice purse, these players get to play on one of the most beautiful courses in the world.  This event always holds a special place in my heart not because of the tournament itself but I actually had the pleasure of playing the course on my honeymoon.  I will not tell you what I shot but it was in the triple digits but the experience was worth every penny.  The course has been updated since I played it nearly five years ago but only for the better.

The first thing I do whenever you've got a course played on an island is look at the weather forecast for wind predictions.  That'll be the main defense on this course.  According to the forecast, the wind will be relatively tame in the teens early in the tournament but get into the mid 20s by the end of the weekend.  Most of these players can handle those numbers but there are definitely guys who excel under those conditions.

There are only 34 players in this field and there is no cut.  So, I will not be producing my first full playbook until next week's Sony Open.  I will be focusing all of my energy on tournaments lineups as I recommend you do as well.  I'll lay out two GPP lineups for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  I wish you all the best of luck this weekend but remember we've got a long way to go, so don't go too crazy the first week.

My one and done selection for the Sentry Touranment of Champions will be Xander Schauffele.
