The Hero World Challenge tees off its 5th edition on Wednesday morning in the Bahamas.  This exclusive invite only event brings in an 18 man field along with a $3.5 million dollar prize pool.  The champion will take home a cool million dollars and a pretty sweet trophy with a tiger on it.

I am only presenting tournament example lineups because you should be avoiding all cash games with such a small field.  I've put together lineups that are a mix of stars and scrubs (no real scrubs in this event) and balanced.  There is something to be said about being different and trying a lineup with like one top priced option and loading up on the guys at the bottom of the pricing sheet.  The more money you leave on the table, the more you can differenciate yourself.  Those are the type of strategies and risks you have to take to make a dent in these type tournament GPPs.

Dustin Johnson withdrew from the event to prepare for next week's trip to Austraila for the President's Cup.  A lot of players participating this weekend will be making the trip down under next weekend.

Good Luck this Weekend!
