Fantasy Alarm is taking a different approach to help our subscribers build successful DFS lineups.  I will be giving you my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's Memorial and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for the Memorial before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

After a successful week at the Charles Schwab, we’ve got a total different type of event at Muirfield Village this weekend.  We’ve going from a very weak field to a near major like one at the Memorial.  The course was changed last year and made more difficult with the extra length.  The winning score dropped under 10 for the first time in a long time.

I’m going to go balanced with the majority of my lineups.  When you have a field as strong as this one and a course playing very difficult, you want to get as much talent into your rosters as possible.  I’d personally rather stack my lineup with one 9K, two 8Ks, and three 7Ks than one 11K, one 9K, one 8K, two 7K and one 6K.  That’s my personal choice but I know how hard it is to avoid playing someone above 10K but avoiding the 6K range is more important to me.

The players who I will likely be overweight on this weekend are Rory McIlory, Collin Morikawa, Corey Conners, Shane Lowry, Emiliano Grillo, Brendan Steele, and Kyle Stanley.  These guys will be scattered throughout my lineups for the Memorial.

This new format of core plays I think is way more valuable to our subscribers because it lends more to teaching than just copy and pasting.  A set of these players will be in each one of my lineups this weekend and then a mix of players from my playbook will fill out the rest.

If you have any more questions, you can leave them in the chat or hit me up on twitter @Drew_Phelps83.  Good Luck!
