FA NATION!! How are we doing? Yes, football season is in full effect but us MLB faithful out there know that fantasy baseball is just around the corner. Think about it this way: We have the holiday season, then Week 17 of the NFL season and New Year’s parties, followed by the Super Bowl and then pitchers and catchers are reporting! It will be here before you know it and, if you’re like me, there is no possible way you aren't ecstatic!

Nate Miller and I will be monitoring all the MLB offseason rumblings, rumors, transactions and anything else you need to know. Howard Bender and Jim Bowden will begin writing content for the 2018 MLB Draft Guide as well, but Nate and I are your go-to guys for all offseason baseball content.

Here at Fantasy Alarm, we are committed to providing in-depth, timely analysis and to make sure that you are well-versed in all the happenings of the baseball offseason. What can you expect to see this offseason? OH, BABY!

2018 MLB Free Agent Tracker: This comprehensive tracker will guide you through the notable free agents and provide relevant information such as where they were versus where they're going, 2017 statistics and fantasy analysis of their expected role and value with their new ball club. This invaluable tool will be updated on a daily basis and quickly become one of your favorite tools leading up to Spring Training, so I highly recommend you bookmark the page. I’m not overdoing it when I say this, but you’re going to want to check this every night before you fall asleep, because staying ahead of your league-mates is key to winning another fantasy baseball championship. The last thing you want is to win your fantasy football league, thanks to Fantasy Alarm of course, and then post a dud in fantasy baseball. Don’t let that happen, so make sure you find some time to stay apprised of the latest fantasy baseball happenings.

MLB Offseason Podcast: When you’re sitting at work, walking the dog or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, pop on our MLB Offseason Podcast, hosted by Nate Miller and yours truly. We’ll be breaking down the previous week, including notable transactions, trades and signings, as well as providing enjoyable banter and bold predictions. This just might be the highlight of your week when doing baseball research.

Fantasy Baseball Strategy Pieces: In the weekly article, you will find various types of pieces, including strategy pieces. What could these pieces entail? Well, I guess you’ll have to wait and see, but they could highlight early offseason developments, things we learned from last season, etc. Should you zig when others zag? If there is a run on starting pitchers in the fourth-round, do you grab a Carlos Martinez for the sole purpose of not missing out, or do you take Anthony Rendon and then come back with a starting pitcher? Do you dictate the draft or do you let the draft dictate you? These pieces will be beneficial to your early game plans and will perfectly complement our Draft Guide.

MLB Player Profiles: Some weeks, the article could feature a comprehensive player about a polarizing figure for the upcoming season. What version of Jose Berrios do we see in 2018? The first half version of 2017 or the second half? Does Gregory Polanco bounce back after a down, injury-riddled 2017 campaign? This player spotlight will detail everything you need to know about that pitcher or position player for the upcoming season.

It’s going to be one hell of a ride and we look forward to being with you every step of the way! It never hurts to get a leg up on your competition, and the earlier you can begin, the better. Let’s make this the best season yet and it starts right now! Rally up FA NATION!
