It’s time for my favorite MLB player props for the day on Underdog Fantasy. My two favorite ones, at the time of writing, are both left-handed hitters that find themselves in some notable hot streaks and in excellent matchups tonight as well. These players are likely to be quite popular in MLB DFS lineups tonight, and I’ll be looking to add some more leans to this article as the day goes on. Here are my favorite MLB player props for Wednesday, April 27th at Underdog Fantasy.

MLB Underdog Player Props

OVER 7.5 Fantasy Points

Yes, Anthony Rizzo homered three times yesterday and four times over his last two games – but we aren’t just chasing points here. Rizzo is on fire, hitting .370 with five home runs, 10 RBI and nine runs scored over his last seven games. He’s hitting .302 against righties this year and an impressive .317 at home so far. Baltimore’s Tyler Wells has allowed a .478 wOBA to lefties this season, and that wind should be blowing out this evening. Take the over.

OVER 0.5 Runs

Jazz Chisholm Jr. against a righty is like Ozzie Albies against a lefty. Chisholm is hitting .317 with a 1.126 OPS against righties this season, and he’s been excellent on the road this year with a .290 BA and .969 OPS. Furthermore, he’s hitting .259 with two home runs and four stolen bases over his last seven games. Chisholm is 3-for-10 with two home runs against Erick Fedde in his career and left-handed hitters have hit Fedde at a .325 clip this season with a .394 wOBA as well. I typically don’t like these lines predicated on runs scored, but I’m making an exception with Chisholm Jr. atop the Marlins' order in a good matchup.
