The board of MLB player props expands throughout the day over at Underdog Fantasy, so make sure you keep an eye on the Discord channel as more are made available. There were a couple of MLB player props for today, April 22nd, that really stood out – and we'll be spanning the entire day of baseball action for my favorite picks this afternoon and evening.

Yes, one of the below picks is very chalky, but you don’t ignore Ozzie Albies when facing a southpaw. He figures to be quite popular in MLB DFS lineups tonight, and we will use him here, too. Below are my three favorite MLB player props over on Underdog Fantasy for Friday, April 22nd.

MLB Underdog Player Props

OVER 7.5 Fantasy Points

It didn’t work yesterday, but I’m going back to the well with Seiya Suzuki. He’s already homered off José Quintana this season and righties have a .303 average against Quintana so far in 2022. Suzuki is no stranger to getting on base and while he didn’t surpass this mark yesterday, he should do so today. I’m taking the over.

OVER 1.5 Total Bases

I hate to go chalk, but it’s Ozzie Albies against a lefty – we have to play it! He’s 3-for-10 in his career against Trevor Rogers, and the Miami southpaw has had a rough start to 2022. Right-handed hitters have a .318 batting average against him this year, including a .393 OBP and .847 OPS. Albies might be in a mini-slump, but he’s hitting .313 with a 1.126 OPS and four extra-base hits (two HR) against southpaws this year.

OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Oakland’s Adam Oller has allowed 10 hits through 4.2 innings on the mound this year, and left-handed hitters are hitting .444 against him with two home runs. Corey Seager may only be hitting .267 against righties this year, but he’s hitting a cool .360 in road contests in 2022. Seager has hit safely in two of his last three and, while he hasn’t been the hottest hitter of late, he should have a big game tonight.
